Waffle House

Really… They never ran into Mike the cook then. I arrived about 10:20 p.m. for a quick bite to eat. But, Mike was informing everyone (in his loud tone) about a server giving 2 weeks notice. Is that really discussion for a customer to overhear? The server was pleasant and took my order. My milk was delivered but Mike was still chit chatting with the servers. I couldn’t believe I had to wait… and… wait. After 10 minutes I gave up. I asked the server to charge me for my milk. Mike then rudely said «Don’t tell e how to do my job». I hadn’t said a thing to him, only the server asking to close out my check. Mike engaged in rude statements as I was exiting the door. Never do I want to go to this place again.

It’s the Waffle House… at 5am the folks were kinder than they had to be.

This is by far the best Waffle House in richmond. It’s new and clean and the servers have a great attitude. It’s so new that I’m certain there have been no murders or robberies in the parking lot and the rednecks haven’t discovered the spacious seating. I hope this place stays as awesome as their scattered smothered and covered.

I can eat breakfast for dinner. I love eggs, bacon, toast and all the «stuff» that goes w/​it anytime of the day. If you’re careful you can have protein and lite on the carbs. 3PM in the afternoon I stopped to eat at the Waffle House, breakfast of course. The W/​H had been open only a few days. 14 employees on hand, and one other customer. Everyone was busy, they weren’t standing around. They were cleaning up from lunch and preparing dinner meals. They were sooooo busy I sat there for about 10 mins. w/​o a hello. Finally one of the servers ask if I’d been waited on and w/​a genuine apology my order was taken.
I will drop back in but I won’t run back because of the food or the service, but because I want 2 eggs and bacon. I’m being easy on them. It was clean, but I was surprised at the lack of space behind the counter. They literally were bumping into each other the entire time…
