Danielle’s Pub

We like this place! The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the waitresses (in the pub) are always beyond nice and make you feel like old friends (Shout out to Lisa who made us feel like pals the last time!) Their tacos are cheap and easy, exactly like you want ‘em. Their shepard’s pie is homemade and delicious! Their burgers also CANNOT be beat. The fries are cooked to perfection and their burgers are priced right and huge! The breakfast side is slow, but also good. The only time I’ve ever been disappointed with this place was when I ordered their cordon bleu chicken special (this was a couple years back) and the chicken was one of those pre-​formed frozen concoctions you’d buy at BJ’s or Costco. Other than that one time, I’ve always been happy!

Came here for breakfast for the first time this morning. Overall I give it 4 stars since the prices were very low, and the portions were massive. I would have given this place 5 stars, but I felt the home fries had little flavor (I prefer the crispy, seasoned home fries). Will most likely come back here again seeing as we live right down the street.

This place was horrible. The restaurant was only about half full at most, during breakfast hours, it was adequately staffed, and the service was still slow as molasses, and unfriendly, to boot. We waited for everything. A few minutes to get menus, a few minutes to order drinks, another 5 minutes to get the drinks.
We ordered our food and it took 35 minutes to get it. I had french toast which was made with cheap thin bread, and was soggy. I had asked for the bacon to be cooked well done, and it came to me barely cooked at all. The home fries were the most bland home fries I’ve ever had in my life. Plain white chunks of potatoes with absolutely no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. The home fries and the bacon were cold. My friend got pancakes and bacon. It took us 5 minutes to flag down the waitress and my friend told her that her bacon was cold. The waitress took her entire plate away to go and heat up the bacon. So my friend was left sitting there with no food at all. She should have at least taken the bacon away and left the pancakes! So I didn’t say anything about my disappointment with the food, because I was starving by this point and didn’t want her to take my whole plate away!
Her food came back a few minutes later and the bacon was warm, but big surprise, now her pancakes were cold. We were never offered refills and I had to go and get maple syrup from another table. Never going back.

This place is the worst. Cheap? Sure is. So is McDonald’s right up the road & you might even get your breakfast in under an hour. I was there with my young son for breakfast & our meal was «whoops» served to another table. We waited about an hour for pancakes. No apologies, nothing taken off the bill. When I asked the waitress what was going on (after a good 30 mins) she told us she gave our food away but, not to worry, ours would be «right up». Never. Again.

5 stars for quality value and price
I can only attest to the dining room in the back of the building but the food is far better than you get in most moderately priced restaurants. I don’t understand the bad reviews — the bar is a hangout but we don’t go in there. Pros. Excellent quality and value especially for the price — fresh ingredients and everything from pork chops to fried haddock to pasta — very casual ok — very good service. Cons. Closes at 8pm — no atmosphere. My husband and I are both business travelers who have eaten in all types of restaurants and when we want a good meal without any fuss we choose Danielle’s — in fact, on his birthday, he chose Danielle’s fried haddock over anything else he could have chosen in Worcester. I recommend people find out for themselves

Breakfast waitstaff are lovely. The food isn’t bad. Typical for the type of place. There is a witchy blond ish female older bartender on the pub side. Not pleasant. And down right mean. I feel sorry for the awesome waitstaff, jimmy and kristy. Decent meals at cheap prices. We won’t be back because of the bartender. It’s not worth the abuse.

I can’t speak for the pub side of this place. Only that I was in there once and people were staring cause I wasn’t a regular. Felt weird.
As for the breakfast side of this place open in the mornings through lunch time… I love it! Super cheap, super big portions of food. Think a side of bacon that gets you 8 – 10 slices of bacon. Huge breakfast plates for $ 6 serviced with bottomless coffee. It’s not pretty and may seem a little bumpkin to newbies… but its a great value and they gave very good food. I recommend it. It’s definitely a quality greasy spoon.

I actually don’t mind this place. It’s not very nice, but the bartenders are friendly. Its an older crowd with friendly people. They have 25¢ wings on weds, and I think meatball sandwiches mondays, and taco tuesdays. You won’t be overly impressed, but its pretty cool to go on a wednesday get 15 wings and a beer and your tab is $ 7

I would love to review the food here but I can’t since we didn’t even make it in the door. We arrived about 12:30 today and attempted to walk in. The door was unlocked, there were people inside, but they were closed. At least that’s what we heard from the nasty female who we didn’t see.
Let me help you out here. If you don’t want people to walk in… LOCK THE DOOR. If you want people to visit your establishment. BE POLITE.
Not to worry, since you don’t appreciate my business, I will take it elsewhere.
We will never give Danielle’s a second chance.

Super cheap and delicious breakfasts.

I’ve been here twice. Most recently went here with my brother before the day of his wedding, as well as two other friends.
Service was fast, food was good for all of us. The four of us with full meals, OJ, and coffees, was $ 25. Can’t complain about that!

Bring a bottle of Pepto Bismol if you have to endure a meal at this place.
Not sure whats worse… the greasy tables, the greasy food or the greasy clientele. I had breakfast here once…
If your lucky enough to eat here sometime, feel free to go and enjoy the hourly hot tub rental place out behind there… I’m sure those tubs are a perfect end to a meal at Danielles.

This is probably one of those hidden gems mainly locals know about and I would prefer it stay that way ;)
