Look I get it– everyone is trying to make a buck but I know what I paid for my jewelry and I’m the original owner so to get offered a 10^th of what I purchased the items for was a slap in the face. I will be selling my stuff on eBay and cut out the third party.

This is the best pawn shop. I have been to. Excellent customer service. Amazing deals. The best prices. If you’re buying or selling stuff. They have lots of good stuff for sale too. The guys in there are very friendly. They work with you. Whatever you got to offer. Try them out!!!

Ok so the only reason why we go to pawn shops is because we are sometimes under the weather and we need a few extra buck right ?!? Right, well that was me and I had to make ends meet so I pawned my brand new dell laptop. Well first few months passed and I couldn’t get it back because I was still broke and then I lost my ticket and then my pawn was up about to be sold BUT the best employee in the place his name is Alex and he called asking if I still wanted my laptop and of course I did and he said he could work with me and he the best tone he truly does know how to treat and keep his customers happy and I will forever only be pawning here

A few months back I needed a small temporary loan and was weary of leaving my all white, well takin’ care of, very clean amplifier in the hands of strangers at a dusty pawn shop. I needed the money so I ripped off the band-​aid and went to the pawn shop with the most reliable Unilocal reviews near me. I forget the gentlemen’s name, but he was very helpful and made my initial experience painless. For months I worried that it was going to get ruined. Who’s messing with it? Am I gonna find a huge coffee stain on it when I get it? Yesterday I finally went to pick up my precious Vox Amp. When he brought out the amp I started scanning It for discrepancies only to quickly stop because they wrapped in plastic to keep it very clean while in storage. I also noticed that the volume controls were pretty much where I left them. I’ve never seen that type of professionalism from a pawn shop. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND A&G. …especially to those, like me, that may doubt some pawn shops because of past experiences. Thanks A&G.

Very great customer service! Bilingual speaking if needed! They Explain everything in detail. Very clean and helpful. This is a great place if your looking to pawn or sell something. I recommend it 110%! I’m definitely going to keep coming when I need some cash. I’m very impressed with their friendliness!

First and foremost I’d like to thank Th guys at this locale. They were attentive and friendly to not only myself but to other patrons as well. Professionalism was on par with any business in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by their ability to make a person feel at home. The workers and the owner are very helpful, they will help you as much as they can. They also have a lot of inexpensive stuff. They are amazing!

This place is great! The guy at the counter helped me pawn my items very quickly and I was able to get the loan I needed right away. Definitely recommended! And they open on holidays too!

Alex was very helpful and he gave me advice on where to buy my jewelry from instead of jewelry stores in the mall that can put a heavy markup on their merchandise.

Went in to evaluate a ring and was told that it was silver plated with Gold. I told him I had just visited another shop and they said it was 10K and he did an acid test and started speaking to his colleague in Spanish. I picked up on a few words and I knew it was fishy because the guy used other tests and they all passed for Gold but he still said it was silver plated as gold. Not to mention, I told him I am not looking for fast cash more just to evaluate my holdings. He proceeded to try and get me to «just pawn it bro» with an insane interest and he even said he’d lower interest to «just $ 5 first month.»
To be sure, I took it to 2 other jewelers after the fact (including A Coin Exchange and Jean Pierre Jewelers) and they all indeed affirmed the ring was 10K Gold.
I understand businesses have to make their money; you would just hope not at the «expense» of deceit and taking advantage of your customers. Take it for what its worth, this place has many 5* Reviews, my experience just didn’t fit their mold of 5* treatment I guess.

Best in the valley they know their gold and silver and will give you a fair price. plus many more odd and of the wall items to buy for a great price.

last friday, Aug 21^st, i just suddenly realized that i was short on my cash that day. i needed extra cash and needed it in a hurry.
i was passing sepulveda blvd/​nordohff when i saw A & G Pawnshop and tried to pawn my ring there. in a snap, the guy at the pawnshop gave me the money i needed without getting those very high interest rates attached to your loans.
so i just wanna say that im very hapoy and satisfied. im glad that i saw their store exactly when i needed some extra cash.

While one never gets as much as one wants on any pawned item (s), Alex hooked me up with good and fair deal on some camera gear I needed to pawn for a month. This place is a fair distance from my home, but based on Unilocal reviews and previous bad pawn shop experiences, I checked this place out.
It was worth the bit of an extra drive, and their late hours make it more conveniant for me anyway.
The vibe was mellow, not weird or confrontational/​scummy/​used car salesman type of thing, very chill for a pawn shop.
The many other positive reviews are totally consistant with my experience.
Next time I need to pawn something, this is my go to place.

I needed help taking care of some extra bills and found this business on Unilocal.The gentleman that helped me was very polite and was able to get me what I needed. I would highly recommend this place if you need a quick loan.

I’m not much of a «pawn shopper» but I would hope that every experience from here on out is like the one I had here.
It’s a small shop so it might be hard to miss. I passed it twice. But well worth the looking.
When I entered there was one gentleman who greeted me and then the owner. The store is kept clean and there is a Pharmacy in there as well. Surprise Surprise and kind of random. He showed me exactly what I was looking for (a guitar). Let me take my time playing it seeing if I liked it. There were a couple options. They gave me a great deal on my guitar and even through in a case for free!
They’re super caring and willing to work with you. Like I said not much of a pawn shopper but I would do business here again!
And let them know you found them on Unilocal!You’ll get a better deal!

Matt is the best. He helped me out when I came in yesterday. He gave me a great price on a loan against my Omega watch. He didn’t make me feel judged in any way. I’ve made terrible life decisions that leave me no option but screenwriting and comedy for a career. I’m now a desperate person holding on to a semblance of self-​respect and decency. I have quit drinking and quit doing drugs. In spite of my mistakes, this pawn shop was great. They’re only charging $ 10 on a $ 150 loan so long as I pay them back within 30 days. During my experience, Matt was kind, courteous, and expeditious. I hope I never have to use pawn services again in my life (I am already depressed and overflowing with viscous self-​loathing) but if I had to, I would definitely choose A & G.

I just left A & G with a nice 32inch Flat Screen TV for $ 100! Great deal and great tv. The guys who helped me were very nice and were patient with me as i’m very indecisive. The downside is they offer no return policy or insurance so once you’re out the door you’re on your own! Definitely coming back though.

They had no more room for electronics. Especially DJ gear. And what they would, they offered %20 of what house of pawn did.
Only added extra star because they were nice.

Went here after an awful experience at House of Pawn, hoping for something better. Luckily, that’s just what I got.
My items were bought for fair prices, with no trouble. Quick, straightforward, friendly interaction, just what I was looking for.

I walked in ONCE last week asking for bluray movies, as a collector i like getting good prices, the guy there was like 8 bucks! LOL… Ehrrr NO! That’s kinda pricey for used films unless they’re good ones!
You can go to best buy or walmart and get NEW movies for 5.99÷7.99 and were talking NEW. The guy at the counter (don’t even know his name) had the AUDACITY to say «Well you could go to the store» HA! Yeah i could, i have and i will buddy! On
you can get used films from 2 – 3 bucks, 4 – 7 bucks, etc. I recently bought 20 movies! in the span of 2 weeks wasted 60 dollars!!! not counting shipping, that adds up to 3 DOLLARS A MOVIE!!! if i added shipping it would add up to 4.25 still WAY CHEAPER than this dudes prices. He should investigate on bluray prices because for 8 bucks good luck selling lol, those will sit there for years. ALSO another pawn shop closer to home called «Allright Pawn Shop» on Woodman sold me 2 NEW blurays Gravity and American Hustle NOT EVEN OPENED for 5 a piece. just saying if you wanna buy movies i wouldn’t come here (at least for Blu-rays)…Probably will never come here again.
