I used to love going to Goldilocks locations. Nowadays, I prefer other Filipino bakeries such as Red Ribbon. Was surprised that they had this Goldilocks branch at the food court inside Seafood City. Well, the shop was clean enough and service was okay. After browsing, I decided to buy some Hopia for .60 cents each. Back in the day, Goldilocks used to make the best hopia anywhere. Sad to say, that this is no longer the case. They taste fine, but there are so many other places that make it better now. Goldilocks is no longer a destination spot for me.

Their food isn’t always made fresh, but if you buy Filipino pastries from there, that’s always good. Their mamon is good, and so is the ensaymada, but I never go to Goldilocks without buying fresh pastillas or sansrival.

This is a 4-star place for their pastries, desserts and Halo-Halo. The food is Turo-turo style. They do have the best Halo-Halo around, though!

Absolutely mind-blowing! I used to have a friend who would cook Adobo for us, this was so close to that recipe I had to call him up and let him know he has competition. Very good, it’s a bit further than we like to drive for a quick dinner but it’s still really really good. I can’t wait to get some sweets next time.

This location is SMALL compared to the other Goldilocks chains. So what you are looking for, may not be in stock. That’s really my only gripe. I come here for the cakes, pan de sal, taisan, and ensaymada. Their prepackaged back goods are always consistently good, and I’ve never come across any problems. Since it is a small store, it may be tough to flag down someone for assistance, for example if you want writing on a cake. I’ve never ordered from their«restaurant» side so I cannot review that. For $ 25, I recommend joining their Goldilocks club card. You receive a gift certificate for $ 20 off your next purchase. Then during your wedding anniversary month and birthday month, you will receive a $ 5 off voucher. You must make a purchase during that month, and it will print out on your receipt that you have $ 5 off your next purchase. I personally would prefer if they mailed a certificate or emailed it. It is located inside Seafood City.

Located inside Seafood City super market. This place brings back memories of when I was a kid and my parents would take me and my siblings here on special occasions. This place isn’t as big as the one located in Panorama City off of Roscoe and Van Nuys Blvds. They don’t have a dine in area like the one in Pano City. You could eat in the main dining area which is shared by the other restaurants inside the market, Chow King and Grill City. But then again, I only come here for one thing, which is Halo Halooooo!!! They have the best in my opinion. There pastries are also good like the sansrival and others. Too bad they stopped making the ensaymada special w/ham. That was my fave. As far as parking goes, there are plenty of parking since it’s inside a supermarket but can be a bit tedious at times trying to find parking during their busy hours. Just writing this is making me crave some halo halo now.

I come here for HALO-HALO! They have the best… I have tried others and nothing beats Goldilocks. The cakes and pastries are good here as well. However, the cakes at Red Ribbon is better! NOMNOM

I order cakes from here from time to time and its actually an excuse to get my pinoy food fix when I am in the North Hills. Okay so really its the HALOHALO(LOL with an evil grin). Kung ako ay upang ihambing ito sa ang Goldilocks sa Mega Mall sa Edsa. Ito ay talagang mas mahusay at ang lokasyon ng pinakamalapit sa akin.

Ordered Bicol Express, rice, and pork adobo for $ 5.99. Delicious, and my kinda pricetag. I only ate half of it and took the rest home. It came with a small tofu soup which was not very good, but since that was free, I can’t complain. Will definitely be returning sometime soon!

Not so great. Just not the full restaurant like the one in Ceritos. This one is turo turo(?). Kinda like Pinoy Pinay in the same building.

I really like this bakery/filipino fast food eatery and their light and fluffy pastries! Good filipino fast food… their 2 item combo is very affordable, $ 6-$ 7.

If you happen to be in this part of the Valley, Goldilocks is a convenient place to get your Filipino food fix. The baked goods are always light and airy, promising little nutritional value but much delight! At the back of the restaurant-bakery, from the hot food section, I ordered a TWO-ITEMCOMBO($ 5.99), which comes with a heaping mound of rice. Choices included chicken, beef, pork, noodles, vegetables, etc. that you can point to. They also have cooked pork’s blood. Some of the steamer trays were rather depleted, and instead of looking like it was the most popular item, it looked as if it was the unfortunately rejected loser at the bottom of the heap. Everything was tasty, but in a «meh» kind of way. Hey, it’s a quick lunch. Picked up a bagful of PANDESALBALIWAG($ 1.79) «dinner rolls» to go with my morning coffee during the week. I think I should have kept to the regular pandesal; the«baliwag» type is yellow-colored and just tastes kind of fake… really not sure how to describe it. My friends ordered HALO-HALO, a cold dessert drink with all kinds of sweet stuff: shaved ice, evaporated milk, red beans, coconut jelly – topped with a big scoop of ube ice cream(purple yam). Quite the colorful concoction! Convenient if you’re coming to Seafood City anyway to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables in the market, or better yet, whole fish.

Yay there is a Goldilocks close by. Now I do not have to drive all the way to Panorama City in that chaotic parking lot. Pandesal always fresh and it makes a good egg sandwich. We always get the birthday cakes here for our kids.

goldilocks ate the porridges, but i ate her breads.(sounds inappropriate, no?) haven’t been to the location, but had ensaymada and something else. ensaymada is a brioche that’s topped with sugar and grated cheese. the cheese sounds funky, but you can’t really taste the cheese at all. i guess it’s just there for texture. but it’s gooooooood! and the other thing was filled in a cup of flaky pastry. i think it was coconut? i dunno, but it was sweet and good. i might have to go to the store to try some of the food as well.

Update: They now have cooked Filipino dishes, but when I went there the choices are somewhat limited in comparison to the Goldilocks in Panorama City. And this time around, they sell three times of HOT pandesal: regular, wheat, and«baliwag»(I wonder what makes that type of bread so special). Thus, if you want to eat at Goldilocks(whether for bread or limited Filipino cuisine), but don’t want to go to Panorama City or even close to downtown L.A., go to this location.
