Worst customer service ever, the person was rude and did not want to give me a sec or his time. Went in for a piece of hardware, took a glance at it and said he didnt carry that brand. Seemed he wanted to get me out out of the store asap. Dont waste your time here.

I had a wonderful experience. The store owner was charming and very knowledgeable. My general contractor recommended this place because they sell discounted hardware. I found the shop to be clean and the merchandise to be plentiful. It was my first time purchasing kitchen and laundry room handles for my brand new house and while the vendor could have been rude and impatient with me, he wasn’t. He really wanted to make sure that I had a great experience and that I was comfortable with my decisions. I will patronize this store again.

My father and I were doing some repairs around the house, and I needed some new cabinet hinges. When we went to Alema, we were wearing our work clothes. We didn’t bother to change our clothes, since we still had work to do at home. The lady sales associate looked at us as if we were bums and she treated us as such. No cordial greeting of any kind was received. The man sales associate was no better. If it weren’t for the fact that Alema has the cabinet hinges I need, without me having to drive to several different places to find them, I would probably not patronize this business.

I think I was here for spring stays. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer, your discount on drawer slides or hingers is only about 3%. They carry supplies for cabinet makers, furniture manufacturers, and woodworkers. This is a wholesale distributor of domestic and European cabinet hardware. Try Home Depot first if you’re looking for decorative hardware, high pressure laminate, or sliding door hardware.

Do not patronize this store. I ordered cabinet knobs from them online. They sent 6 of the style I ordered and 10 of a different style. When I called to have the incorrect ones exchanged, they refused to help because I had not called within 48 hours of delivery. 48 hours? That’s an insane policy. The man was actually SCREAMING at me on the phone that it was my fault for not opening the box right away. I would say it was their fault for shipping the wrong item.
