Great employees however overpriced and sadly stocked. Bought an item from here only to find it at another location for 50% less. So returned to non-franchised location and bought better priced item at another location.

We had to stop in here while running errands to grab a protein shake(since I forgot them at home…) and were pleasantly surprised that the chilled ones were buy two get one free. Seems a small thing, I know, but we wouldn’t have known unless the helpful salesperson hadn’t clued us in. I offered my GNC Goldcard, but she said the savings were greater with her deal. Refreshing! I love it when you’re «allowed» to get a «secret» deal(OK, it’s probably the same deal for everyone, but I didn’t have an email/text/or coupon to get the sale price) I like GNC for some of their proprietary stuff(like the RTD LeanShake) and this one looked like it was a well stocked location. :) Preesh!

Are you kidding me? Prices are ridiculous here and no price matches. Worst customer service possible. All they do is try to sell you here. Know what products you want and how much they are before going to this gnc.

If you saw my daily pill box, you would think I am 40 years older than I am. I take 6 pills a day: multivitamin, B-complex, cinnamon extract, green tea extract, apple cider extract, and vitamin C. I am looking to add 5-HTP to the the mix(which can only be purchased at vitamin stores or online versus pharmacies) and my boyfriend is always interested in natural energy boosts due to his 15-hour work days. One can expect ‘okay’ service from GNC, right? Wrong. Now, I have a Unilocal rule that I don’t review«chains» and I am 100% certain that people who review Taco Bell or Starbucks do it in order to up their review count(pathetic!). However, I have to break my own rule because this location is THAT poor. If it weren’t for the convenience of being about 2-minutes walking distance from my apartment; I wouldn’t come here(and opt for the amazing location at Empire Center in Burbank). Therefore, I do not recommend it for anyone else. Located in a plaza, this GNC is tiny. I’m talking closet tiny. It is narrow and hardly carries any product both in terms of selection overall and the amount of products within each category. Meaning that the shelf will only have one or 2 items for each price tag almost like a display but nothing else. On the right side, prices are lower than on GNC’s website. 5-HTP costs $ 29.99 for a month supply of 100mg while it is under $ 16 at the store! I asked the sales clerk if the store is always cheaper and he simply said, «No». No more details or explanation. Um, alrighty! The biggest complaint? Customer service. Actually, the lack thereof. Each time I come here there if no one else in the store and yet I am ignored and/or stared at like I am a circus freak but never attended to. It is only after I stare at the employee that I am helped. Even then, I get horrible service: no smiles, no friendliness, and no product knowledge. I possess more information than they do and therefore, they never really answer my questions. The store is a joke. A really BAD joke. For the record: their store hours listed on the door are incorrect(I asked store hours) so I’m not sure why they don’t update that. Bottom line: you get better service trying to buy supplements at Target. Sheesh. The Empire Center GNC is much better is all respects. Okay, now I can go back to not reviewing chains…

Very nice gentlemen that helped me here. I’m guessing he’s the owner. But gave us a great deal and hooked it up. Our gift card was giving us problem too and he also overcame that!!! Thank you very much !!!

What a jerk. Where is the zero star rating? I have been in to this location twice. Both times I left after being berated by the(manager/owner?). This may be a cultural issue, but I’m really not in to being treated like that by a salesperson. You’re better off driving a few extra miles to Studio City.

I like any GNC that just talks to you, about your diet, your struggles. it’s a great way to sell product and this location is great for information and usual diet/exercise chit chat. I liked their service and we had a truly normal life conversation. I bought the gold card and overall it was a push. Didn’t save much in the long run but did pay less for a few things I wanted asap. The emergen-c packets were a better price here than online and I searched for a while too. I wouldn’t get the gold card unless you’re a gym junkie. We all know most of us don’t stick to our ever changing diets.

Don’t do it. For convenience ONLY. Otherwise don’t bother. I have kept trying to come here with renewed spirits, hoping they would pick up on the similar deals at other LA area GNCs… but no. They owners continue to have little to no sale items, THEN had the audacity to tell me the Gold card doesn’t work with sale items. I buy a lot of supplements/sports-related products, and I’m like anyone else, I try to get the best quality for the best price. Most GNCs have good specials, a strong variety of products, and knowledgable staff — this one doesn’t. I give 2 stars for convenience; when I need a good product fast and I know this place is within a mile from home. Ignore the service, it will leave you feeling like you experienced the car salesman nightmare all over again.
