Exceptional customer service! It’s that simple. So many businesses put the customer last. I see it time and time again and it’s very frustrating; not Gregory’s Suits and Tuxedos. Quite the opposite! Friendly people, an attention to detail, wonderful selection and excellent service adds up to a wonderful customer experience!

Worst experience of my life! The guy that helped me was so rude! I read a few negative reviews on Unilocal about this place and now that I have actually experienced it myself, they are all true. I was about to rent a tuxedo from this place, however the day I went back to try on my tuxedo, it didn’t fit quite as I wanted it to. I brought the attention to the guy that was helping me. He crossed the line when he began to criticize my body type. I am sorry your tuxedo doesn’t fit me because of my body! I will never return to this tuxedo shop ever again. Again, worst experience ever!

Best place to get a tux, fast and cheap. Will be buying another soon from them. Got a friend’s wedding and need to get a tux for that. Being on the smaller side of things its great to have a place where anyone can find a Tux, and its not a run around trying to find the size and fit.

Vrej is the man! A must for anyone looking for a tuxedo or suite in Los Angeles.
When I called Gregory’s Suits and Tuxedos after finding them online
to inquire about buying a new tuxedo and a business suit for an upcoming event and business suit which I needed badly, Vrej answered the phone and he was so helpful. Scheduled me an appointment same day to come in and try on some suits and tuxedos. I never expected to come in and get so much attention by the owner Vrej and his assistant, thoroughly measuring me and providing me options for different shoes, shirts, and belts that went well with my tuxedo and suite.
I’ve rented a few times, but Vrej is right by the time I rent a few times I could of bought the suit maybe even a few times! I will never again rent again. Here’s what you can expect when coming to his store. You walk in you’ll be asked what kind of tux you’ll need. If you don’t know, he might ask you what the occasion is or recommend a modern style tux. Vrej w then take your measurements or maybe his assistant who is just as awesome.
Once the basics are fitted, you get all the accessories you need including cuff links, shirt studs, shoes .
Overall excellent experience and great shop in Los Angeles if you need a suit or Tuxedo. Go see the Tux man Vrej!

I hate to give this place a one star but honestly have no choice. This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I heard about them from Unilocal and checked them out thinking they would be at least decent and can rent a tux that is in good shape. BUT… NOOOO that was NOT the case with Gregory’s tux. Not only did I go there for an important event liken most men needing to rent a tux for an event but it was my brothers wedding and ended up being EXTREMELY disappointed. I go in to get fitted and everything is fine and put the tux away until the next day which was the day of the wedding itself and was excited to look good in the tux for the event. But I come to notice I realize there is a HUGE cigarette burn on the shirt white dress shirt portion of the tux next to the wrist/​cuff link area with brown marks around the hole of the burn. Not only was there that but in the pants I rented there was a hole in the right pocket so I was thankful I didn’t put anything important in there like my wallet! This place CLEARLY doesn’t pay attention or care the condition their tuxedos are in and they do not pay when giving someone a «new shirt» to wear thats no where even close to wearable and should’ve been thrown out instead of charging me full price! I had mentioned the burn and hole in the pants and how unprofessional it was for them to not check and especially not even give me my money back for their lack of care. WILL NEVER BE BACK! Go anywhere else to rent a tux where they might actually care about the customer service and have more common sense than a recycled water bottle like they do at Gregorys! STAY FAR FAR AWAY like the land in shrek.

I recently rented a tuxedo from Gregory’s Suits And Tuxedos for a wedding I had the weekend of the 25^th of July. Overall it was a favorable experience but there were some issues I had with the tuxedo itself.
I went in for the fitting about a week and a half before the wedding. The lady that fitted me was friendly and answered all the questions I had regarding the rental, the suit chosen by the groom and when the tuxedo needed to be returned. She had me try on a jacket and took some notes regarding the length of the arms and what size pants I usually wore. She subsequently told me to return the following Thursday to try on the tuxedo and pick it up. The wedding was on the following Saturday.
The following week, I went to pick up the tuxedo on the day I was told. On this visit, the aforementioned lady was not there and this time it was a guy. He didn’t say much, didn’t smile and was not as forthcoming with his answers as the previous worker was. If I was to be completely honest, this gentleman could have been a little friendlier. Maybe he was just having a bad day… who knows. Needless to say, the tuxedo fit and I was on my way.
As stated, the tuxedo itself fit fine and didn’t have any funky smells or any tears or stains. While it was not a style that I would have picked personally, I did look good in it and was complimented on more than one occasion at the wedding/​reception. Unfortunately, one of the blatant issues with the tuxedo was the poor job of tailoring the tuxedo had. On two specific occasions, guests at the wedding specifically pointed out the really bad alterations the suit had both at the end of the arms of the jacket and at some points on the hem of the pants. The tailor used what looked like invisible fishing line but even so, it was very easy to see and made the tuxedo look cheap.
I understand that the tuxedo was a rental and as a result you make some sacrifices but the alterations were done in a very hurried and unprofessional fashion. One of the other groomsmen complained about his tuxedo’s alterations as well but we did not make a big deal out of it to the groom.
All in all, service was decent, the cost of the tuxedo was expected but affordable but they might need a new tailor.

With a son that’s 6′ 9″ and 170 pounds, I knew I would have a hard time finding a tux to fit him. I talked to Greg months in advance, and about a month before the prom, we went down there. I got really lucky that he had a 42XL jacket my son could use. It was fun to watch everyone crane their necks to see my son in this tiny shop that was so crowded. He looked great and Greg came through with the needed alterations, made the sleeves even a bit longer for him.
Also good prices on the rental accessories, or if you want to buy a hanky or vest, they would sell you new or used.

Best service at Gregorys! I went in with my boyfriend who is 6’3 needing a black vest ASAP for a 80’s theme party and I was so happy with the most amazing customer service! My boyfriend was so disappointed going into department stores not being able to find the cut and size he needed and no one giving him the right assistance. But, when we found Gergorys on Unilocal we had to give it a try and it was a breath of fresh air for not only me but, my boyfriend who was discouraged from his prior findings. We were there for a whole 15 minutes and man oh man they had sooooo many sizes and options for my boyfriend to choose from. Gregory would not quit until we found the perfect one for him and we couldn’t have been more pleased. So, if your a big guy and those stupid department stores are giving you the run around I HIGHLY recommend this place.
Plus its so awesomely affordable that buying/​renting from them becomes that much more pleasurable!

Ordered online, rec’vd wrong item… contacted their «Customer Service» dept and was treated as if they were doing me a favor instead of me being a paying customer. Looked at their reviews on FB and Ebay to only find that they are known for poor service. Save yourself time and aggravation take your money elsewhere.

Good local place to get a suit or tux. Greg was very helpful. I will be going back:)

This tux shop is the best! First, rate customer service. I had a problem with a size and they help me fix it on the spot without hesitation, even though they did not have to. I would recommend them without hesitation and would definitely use them again.

Me and the husband went here recently to buy a last minute suit.
They don’t have a large variety of suits and tuxedos but they have a decent amount where you would find something that you would like.
They also carry canes, cufflings, dress shirts, ties and bows.

I always get my tuxedos here. They have great taste and really help you pick out the best combination of things so you look super sharp and stand out. This last event I got so many compliments. I wont ever get a tux anywhere else.
And now they have really sweet suits for sale. Classy and professional suits.

That is word for word what the coupon says. When I presented it I was told: «No, that’s for online only. Purchase only. That isn’t even our company, that’s why the website doesn’t say Gregory’s». Well, that website is advertised all over their store, on the business cards etc. And their business name and address is listed directly below the $ 25 off offer. And nowhere on the coupon does it state «online only» or «Purchase only». Definitely a bait and switch. See the picture I uploaded and decide for yourself.
The girl who helped us with our rental was nice. She did try to charge us more than her quoted price when it was time to pay, but I will give the benefit of the doubt and say it was an honest mistake seeing as she was frazzled & dealing with 3 customers at once. (And when I reminded her the price was wrong, she gave us the correct price.)
When I came to return the tux this morning at 10am no one was there. The store was closed, dark & locked. I stayed for 5 minutes, ringing the bell, knocking, etc. Even tried the back door, no response. I finally left at 10:06am, and now have to return again after confirming they are actually there during business hours. With a super busy schedule, this is a huge inconvenience.
Really not impressed. Would not recommend.

I can’t imagine having a better experience with suit-​buying. I went with my bf to get him a simple suit, and Stephanie was just amazing!
I think I can sum up the experience with 4 words: chill, efficient, well-​priced, and expert.
We walked in, told Stephanie what we wanted, and walked out about 30 mins later, fully decked with tie, pocket square, and dress shirt to boot! She even showed my bf how to tie his tie and fold his pocket square and pants.

I really don’t have an extensive background of experience with tux shops to compare this experience with.
Because of this, I have nothing but good things to say about Gregory’s Tux and Suits.
The shop wasn’t overly crowded with customers. The staff was attentive to us as customers.
Their service was friendly and prompt.
The prices seemed reasonable for both rentals and for purchase.
The quality of the actual tux was nice.
Seriously, what else can you say? I understand that some people might be frustrated with a small or sold-​out inventory, but to that I say go early. Don’t wait until the last minute to rent a tux. If the prom is tomorrow, you’ve waited too long. If the prom is in 3 or more weeks, you are early.
Don’t blame the shop for your lack of preparation.
The parking is good. There are spots on the street in front of the shop on Magnolia, and spots in the lot behind the building as well.
