Noooooooooooo. I got a carne asada burrito and the meat was rubbery and a weird grayish color. The I ended up just picking the meat out which lucky for me there wasn’t a lot of anyway. The burrito is skinny and mostly rice. Which makes me wonder, what took 30 mins to give me a rice burrito? The burrito smelled like fish and the horchata tasted like burnt rice. I’ll never eat here again. I’ll just wait until the taco trucks come out.

Best mix of food in all of LA. While the restaurant if called Mariscos, it offers a variety of food! They have a good quantity and amazing quality to their food. While the place is not your upscale dream, the food definitely surpasses any of those places anyway. The other day I had their clam chowder special and it was AMAZING! Want good food at a good price, then try this place!

I asked the girl what was best. She stumbled a little and finally suggested the Camarones Ranchero. I also got a couple pupusas, calabasa and chicharones. The shrimp was decent but not amazing. I thought the pupusas were definitely better. The horchata Salvadorena and the ensalada drink were tops. Interesting curtido too, kind of dry and definitely spicier than average. The food’s good. Just wish that the gal suggested the best items on the menu rather than the most expensive. 2013 #52 /365
