Puppet Studio

Greg and Steve at the Puppet Studio made 4 puppets for my You Tube web series: The Puppet News Network,
. The puppets came out great! They were really patient with me — -I wanted look-​alike puppets for political figures and at first I was hung up on making them look exactly like Kim Jong Il and George Bush, and they pointed out that puppets are funny because they’re caricatures, not exact replicas, and they were totally right. It’s the fact that they ARE puppets that makes my satirical show funny. They were just terrific. They worked the puppets for the shoot, which we did at their stage at their location (an industrial building in West Hollywood). The puppets of Arnold Schwarzenegger and George W. Bush and were especially funny. They really listened to what I wanted and needed, started with drawings and kept me involved every step of the way. They made a few changes I asked for, kept to all the deadlines, and didn’t go over-​budget. The whole project was really successful. Highly recommended.
