After I expressed my displeasure with the service I received, Wholesale Arts addressed it immediately. They apologized for my experience and initiated an internal inquiry on who handled my queries. My point is that instead of making excuses, they addressed my concern head-on and moved to correct the issue. Speaking to a dissatisfied customer about what went wrong is the hallmark of a customer focused company. I hope they are as responsive to everyone as they were to me. I have placed an order with them and am eagerly awaiting the product. I have ordered from them in the past with excellent results. I have no reason to expect any less this time around. If I receive hamsters instead of stretcher bars, I will reduce the star rating. Until then, I have no reason to give them anything but an excellent rating.

Sometimes when a price is too good to be true it is. I placed an order back in April(4 months ago) still have not received the items. Called and left 3 messages with no calls back. Finally someone answered the phone today and she told me its not possible that I left any message because she would have returned the calls, why would I make that up. Turns out my order got messed up and I’ll receive it at some point. I told her it would have been nice if someone would have at least let me know instead of me having to take the time to call and leave message that no one returned, I understand things happen but call your customers. Also wasn’t even offered a discount or anything for them messing up my order and not even letting me know. I called back and asked for free shipping atleast and they said they could give me $ 9 off who cares really a 4 month order that I still don’t have and you gave me $ 9, why bother! So disappointed I had several other orders I wanted to place with them and 2 people who asked for their contact info if I liked what I got. Needless to say will not order from them again or give their info out, sad.

This company provides a full service for painters for a reasonable price. The same canvas cost me 3 times cheaper than one I found in Hollywood’s store. Same for the oil paints, I bought for a half price the same set of paints.

Have ordered from them on 3 occasions. All previous orders were satisfactory, most recent order for $ 556.94, was not shipped for nearly a month. Order Placed on November 27th and not shipped until December 19th. I placed phone calls, and used their online messaging system to inquire why they had immediately charged me but not shipped the product. They simply ignored my inquiries(no email, phone call or message system responses at all). Too bad they were a good supplier but they handled my most recent order horribly, unless they respond with some type of apology I won’t be giving them any more business.

MAKESUREYOUREADTHEIRTERMSANDCONDITIONSPAGE!!! They do NOT issue refunds, just credits!!! I apparently ordered an item that was a «pre-order» without realizing it. When I emailed them back to cancel the order their response was a little rude. They gave me a screen shot showing there was a box under the item and claimed«It’s really impossible for you not to see it.» I swear it wasn’t there when I placed the order; that particular day I bypassed two other companies who were out of stock on the product so I was looking carefully. They said the billing dept. would get back to me in 1 – 3 days. I ended up waiting another nine days and called them; the woman I spoke to was nice and they DID refund my money at that time. They do seem to have good products at really great prices; this time I just couldn’t wait the nearly two months for the product to be in stock. I will give them a second try, making sure it’s something that’s in stock and that I know I won’t need to return.

Hi Unilocal, After I reviewed the business poorly for their poor service, Wholesale Arts and Frames traced me back to my email through their internal system and emailed me to please take down my review. They offered me a rebate on my product to do so. I believe that this is a violation of Unilocal’s terms of service, or at least of Unilocal’s vision. It made me extremely mad– he said he «didn’t deserve» a negative review. I was also offended by his unprofessional spelling. THEN when I ignored, he had the audacity to contact me again. Fire him. I’m not sure what the bad reviews are all about; perhaps they have have improved their service dramatically. I have ordered custom frames from them several times for my businesses and have always been satisfied. The first time I ordered, I made a mistake on my end and when I contacted them, they were very open to fixing the order for me. Great experience all around!
