ADAPT Academy

So in response to Michael S. I’ve been to ADAPT and quite a few other schools and have had many shooting instructors and you know what? Eric and his team at ADAPT can’t be beat. I know how to shoot, compete and even do some instructing and everytime I shoot with Eric I learn something new and walk away a better shooter. Eric’s knowledge is encyclopedic and he’f funny as hell. If I was a betting man my guess is that you’re one of those guys that thinks he can shoot but can’t and can’t deal with instruction.
ADAPT ranks up there as one of the top school experiences that I’ve ever had. I send my friends there and I’m VERY picky with who I will expose my friends to.

Had a great time at the shooting range. The instructors, Mondo and Eric are exceptionally good on teaching and coaching, and delivered superior service! We’ll definitely come back again to take the low cost instructional safety course. Thank you again Mondo for all your guidance and support!

Took my CCW class here with Eric Loden & was not disappointed at all. The instructors here are simply the BEST. These folks answered every question, gave excellent instructions, assisted all the shooters on the line, & even did some nice demonstrations for us too. Eric is one amazing instructor who is caring & professional. I would take another class here in a second.

Caring, professional instructors who will take the time to go over all steps needed to qualify and be proficient. You are only limited by your own abilities and they do push you to exceed your abilities. Oh, you have a lot of fun too.

Awesome Team! Eric, Armando and A.J. are competent and knowledged. They are always attentive and informative, it was and is an amazing discover. «Train hard and stay safe» and «Peace through Preparation» are perfect motto with ADAPT.

Signed up for the Concealed Firearms course that I purchased on Groupon. I wasn’t looking forward to sitting in a classroom for a few hours on a Sunday morning (8AM!!!), but Eric makes the dry NRS information interesting and humorous. The entire afternoon is spent on the range working hands on with your firearm. Eric’s team was focused on safety as well as helping everyone become a responsible gun owner and better shooter. I will be taking further classes from Eric and ADAPT in the future.

I took their Concealed Weapons Permit course, and it went way above any of my expectations.
1. Instructors were very knowledgeable and professional.
2. Course in a classroom was useful, and just as importantly well taught and quite entertaining.
3. Time on the range was sufficient, safe, very well managed by the instructors and satisfying.
4. You can feel personal care by all instructors, especially Eric.
I am rating it 5 stars no doubt, and will recommend them to anyone I know.

Eric and his staff were TOP Notch. Very informative class and just enough cheesy humor to keep your attention from dropping during the 3+ hour class time.
Range time was really worth it. Besides the obvious safety items, it was very helpful to have the staff one-​on-​one help you fine tune your shooting skills. I was pleasantly surprised to have gotten more knowledge in this class than I expected.

There are a lot of options out there to get a CCW permit but not too many with five hour range time. That was what made me sign up with these guys and I have to tell you I’m so glad! And so will you. When I signed up I was thinking 8am? In North Vegas? But trust me, I never once felt bored or sleepy. It was that informative and interesting. Once out in the range they teach you not only gun safety but how to shoot. They made one adjustment and I had my next ten shots in the orange from 21 feet away! I highly recommend these guys. These guys are amazing! They work together very well, are well informed and very knowledgeable on the law and application of law toward CCW. I highly recommend this course.

Took my ccw course with these guys. Friendly, patient staff. Seemed knowledgeable and thorough. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

I’m not a person that can sit in a class for 8 hours. This
Course is divided with 3 – 4 hours class room and the rest on the range. Awesome class would definitely recommend.

I recently attended a ccw class. The adapt personnel were very through and knowledgeable about the material. Their attention to detail and teaching methods were very good as well. I highly recommend taking a concealed weapons course from this company. I will be looking fwd to taking additional classes from adapt because I thought they were that good.

Enrolled in a class to get my concealed firearms permit. I’m definitely not a gun expert by any means and just want the option to conceal a gun if I feel the need to protect my family.
These guys were great! Classroom time was about as painless as you can make it. Not the most exciting thing in the world to go over required material that includes laws and definitions… but these guys covered it all quickly and especially enjoyed hearing about real life situations that people may or have encountered and what the appropriate responses would be in given situations. Also gave very helpful self defense tips and tactics to keep in mind.
Had several hours of range time with some great tips and practice. I considered myself an average shot at best… but a fast learner. I noticed significant improvement with my accuracy with just a few tips. Felt WAY more comfortable handling my firearm after working with professionals for a few hours and received some great advice along the way.
They also teach more advanced classes which sounded very interesting. Seems great for all levels and instructors are extremely well qualified. Would recommend to rookies as well as experienced shooters. Hope to be back for a more advanced session some day. Thanks!

I took a course yesterday for the NV concealed carry permit with ADAPT Academy.
Eric and his staff were friendly, informative, knowledgable, and humorous. It made a day of 5 hours of outdoor range time in 111 degrees bearable.
I HIGHLY recommend Adapt Academy for firearms instruction.

Just finished my Multi-​State Concealed class with ADAPT and I never knew training like this was available. The other classes I checked out offered some classroom time and the a quick qualification on the range. ADAPT took the time to teach safety, grip, stance, how to use a holster, the best ways to conceal and many other things that you just wouldn’t get elsewhere. We spent over FIVE HOURS in range time alone. The girl I shared a shooting table with had never fired a gun before our class and they took amazing care of her. By the end of the day she was shooting well and breezed through the qualifying.
I wholeheartedly recommend this class and this company for anyone who wants MORE from their education. ADAPT will make sure you know how to handle yourself, and I am already checking on what other classes I can take with them. Thanks guys!

Signed up for a concealed weapons course that I found on Groupon.
The range was top notch, and the facility and classroom were clean and comfortable.
It started at 0800 and didn’t finish until a little after 5:00. The course had some safety instruction and some basic refresher info on your gun.
We spent a good amount of time on the range shooting about 100 rounds. Then there was a test to qualify that was super easy, which everyone passed in our group.
Then in the classroom there was a lot of information on the laws of Nevada and weapons. It concludes with a final multiple choice quiz which was also super easy.
I really learned a lot, and the instructors were helpful and informative, all with a splash of humor. Eric was super knowledgable and professional, but kept me laughing the whole time.
I guess there are shorter courses out there, but I really enjoyed this one, and recommend these guys for anyone interested in weapons or self defense training. I will take another class with them soon.

I could not be happier with my ADAPT concealed firearms class today. I was originally planning to go to a range much closer to my house but had a horrible experience trying to register with them. I am so glad it didn’t work out. The 45 min drive to the ADAPT class at the Clark County shooting park was well worth it and worth every single penny. There was 3 hours in the class room and 5 on the range. All of my questions were answered and I feel very well informed of the laws and regulation on conceal carrying. The range time was very informative and fun. I enjoyed all 3 instructors. They make it fun! I was never bored. They are witty and engaging while being professional. I will recommend ADAPT to everyone. It was literally just how I was hoping it would be. Perfect. I feel lucky that I found ADAPT.
