This is my favorite place to get ice cream. The owners are always super nice, friendly, and helpful. The prices are also great for the quality and they have a large variety of ice cream, toppings, cones, and slushes. I would highly recommend this place. If you spend over $ 10, you get to spin their prize wheel to get percentages off or free stuff. This place is fantastic.

Best ice cream & amazing customer service. It’s family owned which I think we need more of in Las Vegas so the quality just doesn’t compare to any other place! Pricing is perfect and they have weekly family specials. They also have a wheel to spin if you spend over $ 10, giving you the option to win 10−15% off and a free T-shirt! It is our go to ice cream spot!

A family owned and operated cute little ice cream shop in North Las Vegas. Very kid friendly with mini picnic tables, a big chalkboard wall, and a kid viewing platform in front of the ice cream freezer. A personal favorite was the 4 or 6 scoop ice cream sampler for $ 3.79 and $ 4.79, respectively. Genius!

Great environment for some great ice cream! What is great is the endless variety to complete your ice cream desires. Indecisive, they offer 4 mini scoops or 6 mini scoops to make their mini samplers. Not only is the ice cream good, but the price is right for family outings. It’s worth every bit of it.

My daughter had been bugging me to bring her here since she passes the place on occasion. She kept saying I want chocolate from there! So the day after Thanksgiving we dropped in for chocolate. They have about 20 different flavors. I put her on a ledge they have to let her view the spread. She immediately chose rainbow sherbet and a cone. We paid and left. The owner(I assume) was working in the window and thanked us for stopping in. There’s a Unilocal sign on their wall that says if you write a review on your next visit show them and they’ll give you a sundae FREE.

Loved their ice cream ! I had the 4 «mini“scoop sampler because I couldn’t decided and all 4(strawberry cheesecake, rocky road, strawberry and black cherry vanilla) were delicious. Scoops were pretty large for being mini scoops. You have to try it

Great ice cream and awesome service. The owners(I’m assuming) were very welcoming and funny. They have little ledge up so the kids can actually see and pick the ice cream they want which is cool. They have a giant chalk board and bucket of chalk and adorable little tables for the kids. We will definitely be back soon!

Well this is a breath of fresh air for the area. I have to say, every time I pass by this location I would say to myself this area needs an ice cream parlor! The closest options for ice cream being fast food and the like. I found this place after getting a haircut and decided to see if it was worth the hype. I have to say it is worth it and not only because it’s the only option for hand scooped ice cream for miles! The owner was at the counter and I was the only customer at the time. I stuck up a nice conversation with him while he scooped up one scoop of the Chocolate Brownie and one scoop of Cookies & Cream. I paid and left the store happy! I ate the ice cream outside and my contentedness was confirmed as the ice cream was very good and relatively cheap for the large scoops provided. I hope to continue supporting this place as it is so hard for local businesses to thrive in this area due to all the fast food competitors!

Here’s a place that not only makes me happy, but makes my kid happy, too! The staff is so nice, and the layout is designed to be kid friendly. There’s a chalkboard for kids big and small, a built-in step for them to see the ice cream before it gets scooped, and kid-sized picnic tables to help seal the deal. We had the Circus Animal Cookie, as did almost everyone else there, but I’m going back for a waffle cone chocolate Sunday with the works!

Thrifty’s ice cream! I was so excited to see that! However, disappointment quickly hit when I learned that some of the nuances of Thrifty’s ice cream from childhood were ignored by this shop. They do not have cylinder scoops and their ice cream is as pricey as Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone. So the«thrifty» part of the name was kind of moot. With that said, they did give large scoops and it tasted good. The owners were friendly. The shop was clean. I didn’t expect 35 cent scoops, but hoped for maybe $ 1.50. But even without that, the nostalgia of getting Thrifty’s ice cream was completely lost without the cylinder scoop. Perhaps they would consider spending a little more than $ 8.00 for a scoop and splurge $ 15 on Amazon for a Cuisipro Ice Cream Scoop and Stack. Just for those of us who tell our kids about the good old days when we could get cheap ice cream that was shaped like a cylinder.

What a great little place for a delicious scoop of ice cream in a friendly atmosphere! My boyfriend and I just moved to the area, and were so overjoyed to find Dillen’s. On our first visit, I had a scoop of the circus animal cookie(!!!) which tasted like childhood. My boyfriend had a cookies and cream milkshake. He was able to customize the level of thickness for the shake, which he loved. The owner, Dillen himself, served us with a smile and a story about why he started the company. He was a delight! We will definitely be back the next time we are craving something sweet!

Dillens serves Thrifty’s ice cream, and everyone loves Thrifty’s so I won’t review that portion. I’ve been to the ice cream shop a couple of times. The owners are super friendly, and they have fun promotions almost daily. Some of the prices are a bit outrageous — $ 6.99 for a banana split?! I think the prices per scoop are a little more reasonable at around $ 1.50. Some may be tempted to walk 15 steps and buy a whole container from Walmart, but it is fun to visit once in awhile. Docking a star because I didn’t see the man who made my banana split wash his hands nor did he have on gloves, and he did touch the banana. He also licked hot fudge from his finger towards the end of my concoction. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so those things bothered me, but everyone’s different. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. we shall see.

Cute little mom and pop ice cream shop, run by a friendly couple. It’s a blast from the past, complete with kid-friendly flavors like Circus Animal, Bubble Gum, and Rainbow. Pricing is old-school too, as ice cream for two was under $ 8 and it was more than we could consume. Your best bet(especially if you’re indecisive) is the 4-mini-scoop dish, just under $ 4. It’ll last you all weekend, it’s just that massive. Or go for a classic cone, around the same price. They can also make shakes. Flavors are solid, exterior advertises that they have Thrifty’s ice cream. The cappuccino crunch and black cherry vanilla are good options, they also have chocolate-dipped house-made waffle cones that look amazing.
