First of all, this place is not really your typical tattoo parlor, its just a room inside a beauty studio/​spa place. Well I guess for a startup that’s understandable. I came here to use the groupon my friend gave me. When I came in, I told Mike exactly what I wanted to be done, showed him the photo and he didn’t insist any changes on it, he didn’t comment, he didn’t judge he just printed it out and ask for my final word on the size, he then started the tattoo. He has very light hand and he did fast and clean work. I was happy to see the final results as it was exactly what I wanted. So that’s good right?
But here’s the thing. I came in, met him, didn’t expect he was the one who is gonna be doing the tattoo, I knew Mike was the owner but no matter what kind of business you’re running you have to look presentable. But no, he was wearing basketball shorts and a tank top. Wear at least a shirt and a pants for gods sake! And here’s where it gets worse. I didn’t go through the standard procedure, like signing of the terms and such, he didn’t tell me what’s the risks, steps he’s gonna do, show me the equipment he’s gonna use (show me that the needle is actually new), ask me if I have allergies, things like that that has to be done before even doing the tattoo, he did not even asked for my identification to check if I am really over 18! And after the tattoo, he did not tell me all the things I need to do and can’t do for the next few days. I just paid with the groupon and left. (I didn’t know any of this before coming here, I was not thinking and was just forced to come for a reason, so that mistake is on my part!)
2 weeks after I got my tattoo, it’s gotten all faded. I got it touched up at a different tattoo place. I was told that it must be done in a hurry and ink was the cheap bad quality kind.
I just wanted to warn everybody. Tattoo here is really cheap, that’s one good thing. But would you really risk it if you could go with a reputable one for just a bit higher price?

Had an appt today at 1230…2 hrs prior he texts me he has to change it to 330 and he hopes it works out. Super bad business. Will never come here.

Mike did my Samoan tribal batman tattoo. The cleanest and most symmetric tattoo on my body and probably one of the nicest I have seen. Great artist!

I saw this good deal in groupon & went to try it myself to have my first tattoo that I’ve been wanting to have. The owner of the place is the one who did my tattoo, the pain is expected but not so bad, it’s tolerable. He worked so professional, equipment & materials looked clean and of course the whole place, but most of all they got this good deal in groupon. If I ever wanted to get another tattoo again, I will definitely go back to this place.
