This place is ridiculous. Who still smokes? Way to much smoke. Ventilate dude. Anyway. Fox and hound in Nola I love. Not anything like Nola here.

We just stopped in here because we needed a quick bite to eat in between clients and most the Fox and Hounds I have been to throughout the years were decent… this place was pretty gross. If you want a place that smells like smoke and dirty mungy bar smell, this is your place. We sat at the bar and there were so many bad smells hitting you from so many angles, it was hard to tell what it was at times. Service seemed pretty typical for the state. The only thing keeping this from a 1-star is the chicken tenders and fries were pretty decent(have to go a safe cooked dish after all those smells). This place needs to do some serious cleaning and it would probably move up to a 3-star.

«Not Too Bad for Bar Food» I had a burger here while playing pool with friends. The burger was alright, nothing to crow about. It was cooked the way I wanted it. It’s just not the place to expect good cuisine from. It is a good place to play pool though. And maybe other things like darts.

Basically just a smokey bar and pool hall. Don’t waste your time unless that’s what you’re looking for. If so, then enjoy.

It’s a good bar. Smokey & sometimes the staff can be slow, but if you’re looking for a place to kick it close to the military base then this is the spot to go to. It’s not far.

Bartender was a b! tc#, beers weren’t that cold, food was pretty good but pricey, and their margaritas are weak as hell.

Ok, so I expected worse. It’s definitely smoky, but not too much else to complain about. The beer selection is better than it was, but it’s still not great. The service was actually really good — table service, very quick and friendly. The food looked good, but I didn’t have any. Big bar, lots of room, plenty of TVs.

My husband and I ate lunch here last Monday. It wasn’t very busy, but the staff was very friendly and service was great. We ordered the fish ‘n chips and turkey sandwich. We really liked all the food — there was plenty of food and was all very tasty and fresh. Lots of big screen tv’s and pool tables. Smoking is allowed, but air circulation kept it from being stuffy.

The bar would be cool if I could get service. The bartenders look at you, see your glass of scotch is empty and proceed to serve others. I pay too much for my drink to get sub par service.

It’s what you would expect from any Fox and Hound establishment. Nothin’ new, nothin’ thrilling. It’s definitely smoky which is annoying, especially when you come from a state where they don’t allow people to smoke in bars.(Arkansas needs to catch up on that one…) Food is decent(usual bar food) and beers were cheap. We were actually pleasantly surprised to find that they had a special going where beers were only $ 2.50, including imports, but I’d call ahead of time to see when they run those kinds of deals. I would never pay cover to hang out here but I’m willing to go when a good deal will make it worth my time.

It’s a bar. People smoke, there for it is smokey. There are flat screens along the walls, and also some arcade games. My first time I got a scotch with amaretto. I was sad I didn’t get a cherry :(

Definitely have to agree with Christian P. on this one… while Fox & the Hound is a great little bar to get your night started by the end of the night it’s like walking in a burning home it’s so smoky. I’ve been to Fox & hound several times as we have friends who live in the area and are regulars there and we always have an okay time, they have some decent appetizers and a pretty good happy hour selection. One thing that I’ve noticed twice now they were charging a $ 10 cover to get in on random nights, I can understand a cover if they’re showing a fight or having live music but these were just random nights we were stopping in for a drink and a snack and that was $ 20 my husband & I could’ve spent elsewhere. If you’re looking for a spot to grab a beer and watch a game or a fight and you don’t mind the smoke definitely check out Fox & hound. I for one will try to avoid it from now on, I just can’t handle the smoke or justify paying $ 10 to have a drink with friends!

Place is very large and parking is plentiful. We went to see at UFC fight and they were charging $ 10 cover to get in which we didn’t expect but was not a big deal. The beer selection is great and the prices, even on a Saturday night, were very competitive. I think I paid $ 9.10 for two large craft Pale Ales. The food is VERY standard TGIF/Applebees fare. Lots of friend chicken fingers, cheese sticks and other starch/oil combos. We had a sampler platter and it was pretty sub-average. Eat before you arrive. The wait staff is quite attractive and the girls were all very friendly, giving the entire place an upbeat and friendly atmosphere, even during a testosterone fueled UFC viewing. Major downside of the place is the complete lack of ventilation. It was fine at 8PM but by midnight the entire establishment was flooded with a thick cloud of cigarette smoke. It was tough, I know that smoking is allowed in Arkansas inside bars but this was really bad. I won’t be going back despite the generally good time I had.

I have to agree with Matt on this one. One day my girlfriend, now ex, and I went to Little Rock for a formal party and she and I quote, «get her hair done» so she called and called and called to find a salon that could take her. Well, she found one next door and the wait was about 30 minutes then God knows how long until the sheers. Luckily for me there were several drinking establishments to pick from so I went to Fox and Hound. It is a typical pool hall /bar. Not being one for pool, I sat and watched others and enjoyed the crowd as they won/lost round after round. The bartendar was very friendly and had a huge regular following. That’s always a god thing. Mind you it was mid afternoon on a Saturday so there were not many people there but the ones who were there were regulars and they all made me feel like I was part of their crowd. Well, after 3 hours and countless beers, in walks someone who I didn’t recognize. Not because of the amount of drinks consumed but by the extreme hair change. I could see it on her face. We men know the drill after the trip to the beauty salon. It’s never right and the bitching begins. When I had to hear about how horrible her hair cut was and how she was pissed and she will never go back there again, I just sat back and closed my eyes and enjoyed the drive to the hotel. Thanks Fox and Hound for making me feel at home on so many levels.
