Just stopped by here to watch the Cavs Finals game while on vacation on a Tuesday night. Was so happy to find fellow Cleveland fans, great TVs, and affordable drinks. Near other bars and the beach which makes for a great late night out! We’ll be back!

I first came to Molly’s a year ago. I’m the type of person who hates chicken wings. I love the idea of them, but most of the time they are awful. Molly’s were the best wings I had ever eaten. So, a year later, I have to come back to myrtle beach, and I start thinking of those wings again. I ordered them tonight, and thank you Molly’s! Just like I remembered, and just as delicious. You lived up to the expectations, and that’s hard to do. Keep up the great work.

One of my favorite local places to go! Whether it simply be to have some food, or some drinks with friends, I am never disappointed. David and Gavin, and the entire crew always make you feel welcome and give you the best service! I HIGHLY recommend this place for both locals, and visitors in the area!

Had the steak sandwich and OMG, so so so good. The steak was piled on and literally falling off. Good variety on tap. Porch dining was unbeatable. Service was ok, waitress was kinda busy. Outside could stand a facelift.

Location is everything! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great drinks, plenty of tap favorites. Best bar on the grand stand on my Irish opinion!

Nice atmosphere, the oceanfront view from the deck and dining area was nice, but the service was lacking. The menu only had a few true Irish dishes, mostly typical American eatery food. Went there a couple of times for just drinks. Well stocked bar, decent beers on tap & the Molly’s Smash was tasty. The night we went for dinner(was within walking distance from our place) the not too friendly hostess met us with the news that they had lost a cook and it would be about 45 minutes for food. Fish and chips did come out overdone. At least the hostess was upfront & gave us the opportunity to leave. Never let em see you sweat :)

Wait staff rude and seemed swamped. Hostess didn’t seem to want our business. Were not offered kids’ menus, had to get them ourselves. Food mediocre at best. Obviously this restaurant benefits from the ocean front seating and view. Irish vibe unfortunately lacking in the attitudes of the employees. Can’t imagine owners would approve. Will not return.

Atmosphere is nice and restaurant was clean with a desirable view. The food was less than impressive and for being an Irish bar the beer menu was lacking. They had your standard harp, Guinness, and smithwicks but the rest of your drafts were just your basic domestics. I got the fish and chips and was left feeling like although I had eaten I was starving. It was like oversized fish sticks. Overly crispy and thickened breading surrounding a mush of cod. For being a flaky fish you would have no idea. No amount of vinegar could help mask the feel that it had been pulled from a freezer where it had sat the past 6 months and served alongside decent fries. My grandmother had the same reaction to her shrimp basket. Lots of breading for a small tough shrimp. We asked the server and he did say the shrimp comes in already breaded. Really disappointing for an ocean front restaurant. My mother had the shepherds pie(to start it’s not made with lamb) and said she has had better. My husband had the steak sandwich and said it was delicious. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. All in all this place would probably be great for a couple bud lights and the beginning of a night out but I wouldn’t put it on my list of places to visit when on travel.

Classic Irish Pub right on the beach. There is a patio where you can eat outside. He food is good but the service is lacking. It usually takes 45 – 60 min wait to get your food during a normal lunch time. Personally I would recommend take out but they close the kitchen to take out orders around dinner time.

Well where should I start? Came here with a group for dinner. Let me say that our waitress was awesome, she was very knowledgable about the menu in regards to drinks and the food. I had the whisky wings(very sweet) and a wedge salad(needs more bacon but yummy). Two friends had the open face Rubens, one enjoyed it the other did not. The meat is supposed to be really tender but one plate had tender meat the other did not. Another person for the steak dinner. The steal was over cooked and was told overall the meal tastes just mediocre. Last my other friend for the teriyaki chicken, she said it was ok. Overall pleasant experience, service was good and food was ok. I also got a dirty banana as my drink, it’s not made the same as it is in Jamaica but it was good.

Can only give Molly’s four stars(haven’t tried the food) but it was a happening night. It’s a small place with plenty of room. Molly’s has a large deck out back overlooking the ocean, nice dance floor for bumping and grinding, and the feel of a old neighborhood«Bahh». Nice time would recommend and will be back.

GREAT view! The food is regular bar food, nothing special, but it was still good. Can’t beat eating lunch while watching the Dolphins play in the ocean!

Awesome location, can’t beat it, right on the beach, the only one we could find in North Myrtle ! Great food, great service. Very accommodating! Requested grilled fish and they served me grilled grouper which wasn’t on their lunch menu, only dinner :) Very happy, highly suggest to all.

The only saving graces are the great deck view of the ocean and Guinness. Don’t even bother with the food. We started with calamari and mussels with the intent of ordering more after munching a little. After these items, we decided to finish our drinks and go somewhere else to eat more substantially. The calamari were cooked well, but had no flavor. The mussels SOUNDED good… steamed in Harp with scallions and herbed butter. No scallions and floating in a bitter and unseasoned broth. Mussels were cooked well, but the broth was so off-putting. Come here for some adult beverages and fantastic view, but save your appetite for somewhere… anywhere else.

Molly Darcy’s gets a star for having a beach view. Everything else sucked! Our bartender was off in la la land have the time, more worried about what boy toy was coming in next. I will say the other bartenders were very attentive. The food is awful. We have eaten here three times, yes three times. I guess we wanted to confirm that it was as bad as the first two times. Skip it!

Wash. the food used to be so good here and now it’s ehh. Still a good place to drink and enjoy the outdoor deck as it’s on of the few places on the Strand to have outdoor ocean front space. Staff is very attentive!

We visited during Labor Day weekend and had a good experience. I got the fried chicken wrap and it was super yum and simple since we had been sitting on he beach all morning and just wanted something filling not fancy. We sat out on the patio with the beach view which was nice, although the flies were a little out of control. We ended up having two waitresses, our main one still did well despite the fact she had a huge fantasy football group to wait on that kept her constantly running for stuff. I had been to the Molly Darcy’s in Charleston, but not this location yet. I’d go back for sure.

Love that you can sit outside and be at the beach! Serve harps on tap in a proper pint glass! Have a good variety on the menu! Had chips & curry and was very good! Will be back!

We visited Molly Darcy’s for lunch 2 days in a row while on a recent trip to N. Myrtle… Not necessarily because it knocked out socks off but due to it’s location. There are not a ton of other restaurants on Ocean Blvd… And we wanted to stay close. This place was also recommended to us by my husband’s boss. After our second lunch there, my mom said«I kind of wished we tried somewhere different.» And I agreed 100%. It wasn’t that the food or service were bad but we summed up our opinions as: — somewhat limited menu… We wished they had some more options. — indoor and outdoor seating is great but wished they had more umbrellas outside. First day we sat inside as to not bake in the sun because all the umbrellas were taken… But we sat next to the window for the view and were plagued with tons of flies from people going in and out. — consistency of food from literally one day to the next was different. My mom and I got the same meal each day(my mom, the fish sandwich and myself, the classic chicken wrap.). My mom’s coleslaw was completely different from day 1 to 2. First day was really creamy and almost yellow in color and the second day it was just«wet» with the dressing(not swimming in it) and more colorful. Weird. Food itself: — I got the classic chicken wrap both days which was pretty bland the first day I got it… Almost had no taste. I wised up the second day and got a side of buffalo wing sauce for it which made it SOMUCHBETTER! But the second day it appeared like they left the ranch off the wrap– which would have paired nicely with the buffalo sauce. — my husband got the grilled chicken sandwich and then the turkey BLT sandwich. He seemed to enjoy both. — My mom got the fish sandwich both days and said it was pretty good. Came with fries OR slaw… Where we’re from, it’s customary to do both with fish but hey, that’s just NY. — Dad got a corned beef wrap(forgot the official name) the first day and enjoyed it. Second day he got a portobello sandwich — which he said«at least I tried something new… But I wouldn’t get it again.» — decent beer selection and looked as though they offered numerous cocktails and«fun drinks». Service: Service was ok both days. I liked our male server on day 1 better than our female server on day 2… He seemed friendlier. Day 2 was a lot busier so I don’t know if that effected her at all. This place has a couple pool tables and some video games and would be a decent place to hangout at, at night when in the area.

Great space, very friendly bartenders, not crazy-noisy, adequate draft list and solid food. I like it. Corned beef & cabbage: a healthy pile of well-prepared meat, tasty if a little under-cooked cabbage and a couple of boiled potatoes(I think the menu claimed mashed potatoes, but that’s fine). At first sight, I thought there was no way I’d finish it all. And I didn’t, but it was close. Washed down with a couple black & tans. Wife went with one of their salads, which she liked. I wish I knew about Molly Darcys the last couple of business trips when we were searching for a place to grab a beer & decent food.
