Great School! The teachers and the students are great! They’re very flexible and have great products. Ms. Kim and Ms. Lori always know how fix any hair problems and treat natural hair!

Regency is one of the better beauty schools that I have been to in a long time. The location is always clean and professionally managed. The students are up to date on the latest styles and techniques. All in all, I have had a good experience with the exception of a few times. I keep coming back because the services are inexpensive and I think they do a pretty good job. Because the services are being completed by student, they tend to take their time and give you more attention. The instructors are always there to help and correct, if needed, but for the most part, any student on the floor can complete the service on their own. They are open late in the evenings and on the weekends and I really need that flexibility because of my busy schedule. On average I spend $ 30 each time I go and I get a hair cut, color touch up, shampoo, blow out, and eyebrows. You can’t beat it!

Regency is a nice-looking beauty school. I appreciated the new décor, it really felt like a salon. I arrived late for my pedicure, but the receptionist was gracious and offered me coffee, tea, or water while I waited for my pedicurist(is that a word?) to take me back. Everything looks newly refurbished in this location. This is a big plus. It was clean and tidy, another plus. My pedicurist was kind and helped me pick a color for my toes. Side note: they don’t have many colors to choose from, so feel free to bring your own. I was seated in a chair, which was comfy but not one like at the usual nail salons for pedicures. The food«tub» was like a foot bath you use at home, except for the warmer which also vibrates. Not the usual jet pumping foot bath you’d expect. The young pedicurist did an ok job, but honestly… I do better myself. While it was nice to have my feet massaged by someone other than myself, eh… the clipping, filing, and polishing was all mediocre at best, and like I said… I do better. The student’s do have to show their work to instructors at the beginning and the end of the pedicure. I think this is nice, but I would have liked to see more«instructing» happening. Overall, for my $ 10(there was a $ 5 discount the day I was there) wasn’t horribly spent. I probably won’t be back and when looking for a beauty school pedicure will go down the street to Raphael’s(better chairs and overall pedicures). Be advised… students are doing all the work… so they might work a bit slower than a «normal» pedicure.

I have gone here for manicures and pedicures three times now and every time the service and treatment has been great! The professional instructors supervise the girls every step of the service. It does take a little longer than a regular spa but it is a training school so the girls take their time and make it right! The place is bright and cheery better than some salons I have seen and it is clean and they use all the proper cleaning procedures. If you get a student you like you can request them for as long as they are a student there. I love the job Maddy has done on me. I will miss her when she graduates(soon) but I am sure to find another great student here as all the instructors, and students seem great! Keep up the great work Regency, North Olmsted, OH Mary Maul

I have enjoyed the times I have visited Regency. They are polite and professional. I have visited a few beauty schools in my day and this is by far the best. Looking at any institution where education and training is going on– the first thing that comes to mind is being very realistic. Now in all fairness, I would not go into Regency asking them to do an extreme makeover as far as my hair. I have had my hair cut there and I must say the girl(students are always supervised) gave me one of the best cuts I have had in a long time. She was very attentive and I could tell she wanted to do a good job. And she did. My mom had a manicure and a pedicure there. While I only had a pedicure. But all services were with great success. The teachers are on the floor making sure the students are focusing on their work and clients. Yes, I agree with that the time estimation to perform a service is a little longer. But again, these are students and they are learning.

Well I guess I should say, «I should have known…» but it is true, you get what you pay for. I strictly went to Regency for a pedi with my cousin because they were only $ 15 and I figured how bad could it really be? Oh yeah, it COULD be that bad… Overall, when you walk in, it is a lot nicer than I expected. It looked clean and like they get a good amount of walk in clients. They were extremely busy on this day and we were in a bit of a time crunch so when they offered us bowls instead of tubs, we took them. BADIDEA it was completely ghetto. The girls had out feet on their laps… like I can’t tell you how uncomfortable this was. My girl was alright, she was almost done with school and you could tell she knew what she was doing, however, my cousin had another woman who apparently had never done a pedicure before… I swear to God this lady was on drugs, she was so spacey… Anyways that’s beyond the point. These are supposed to be 45 minute services and we were there an hour and a half… my pedi I would give a C and my poor cousin’s feet looked jacked… I mean I truly think they looked worse after we left. I have no idea how they decide when the girls are ready to go out on the floor, but poor Libby, you were not ready and I’m really sorry to say it… I think it’s the luck of the draw here, so good luck if you decide to try it!
