Paryavi Fariba DDS Ms

My daughter has previously HATED going to the dentist since the age of 3 when she had multiple crowns put in under general anesthesia at Shady Grove. Since that point it was always a battle. Her previous DDS told her to «suck it up» so I went looking for someone that would understand how terrified of needles she is and even more terrifed of the DDS. Thanks to Dr. Paryavi, my daughter now looks forward to going to the DDS, even if it is because she needs to have a tooth filled. I can’t think her and her staff enough!

Dr Paryavi’s office cares only about money. I brought my son in for a limited consult to get a procedure done at DC Childrens since his regular ped dentist was not credentialed there. I scheduled the appt and told them my insurance would only cover a limited consult. Well, on their own, they decided to make it a comprehensive so my insurance would not pay a dime. Then right in the appt, I was immediately shown their price list for all of the work the Dr thought she needed to do after only seeing my son for a couple of minutes. A clear red flag there. My son is a special needs child and I felt like none of my concerns were being listened to. I would not have use her at all if I had another choice but she was the ONLY dentist available to do the procedure at DC Childrens in a timely manner and time was of the essence (don’t even bother with them– they are booked out for over a year). I will NEVER go back!!! And they made sure they got their money BEFORE the procedure! I have never had to do that before, only a co-​pay. STAY AWAY!!!
