My husband took me to his place and it is a little far from home, but worth the drive. The food is very tasty! I love everything that is served with your meal including the daikon. I grew up eating daikon with lots of food in Hawaii so it was a nice thing to see being served with this great meal. I especially love the chicken and short ribs! Yummy!

Gotta say that every single plate they serve is amazing!!! The portions are great, flavor is just amazing and prices are absolutely fantastic! This place is hidden in the shopping area but it worth going every time! The braise pork is delicious and the Korean sauce is just great! I have been to this place about 7 times because it is great, the menu is not long which makes things easier when it comes to choosing a plate. The service is amazing and the place is super clean!

So im cruising through the restaurants near by trying to figure out what to eat. I come by this Korean restaurant with over 100 reviews and 5 stars. Hmm could there be such a restaurant. So I headed over and gave it a whirl. Its a little corner business nestled in a large shopping center, if your not careful you’ll over look it. There are maybe 7 tables on the inside and a very nice ambiance. I had the Seoul with a side of Bulgolgi and the free seaweed soup. Excellent excellent excellent! I ate everything up and got a little mad when it was all gone. I will be coming back and trying different items on the menu.

Namoo’s a nice little restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the Chasu baby(pork belly) with a fried egg on top. I also added kimchi and some of their spicy sauce to it. Man, their chasu is so tender. The fat is melt in your mouth and the meat is full of flavor. Not a single thing wrong with the dish. My only knock is that this place is so far from me haha. Otherwise, I’d be back just to try all the rest of the menu. Definitely two thumbs up!

Took my husband here for a fun new place to try, we both really enjoyed it. The seaweed soup– I normally hate all things seaweed related but for some unknown reason I always try it this is one of the few times I did not instantly regret it, it didn’t even have a normal seaweed flavor it was much more of a hint of it with the seaweed flavor baked out of it, I enjoyed it! I got the beef and it was awesome, it had some nice pickled veggies added on top to garnish it but my favorite was to get a combination bite where I had the rice and beef in one bite.

Wow what a great find! Amazing korean rice bowls in the middle of North Richland Hills for a small price. Most of the bowls were $ 9 tax included and each that I tasted(porkipoki, bulgogi, bae bak) were superb! The porkipoki was crispy and well breaded. The bowls all came with a side of refreshing pickled vegetables like ginger and daikon. There was also vermicelli, lettuce, and purple cabbage in each bowl. Would definitely recommend!

Wow, lots of great Unilocal reviews. That’s hard to do as there is bound to be someone that complains about something. But, in this case, the high rating is very well deserved. Great tasting food with nice size portions and a reasonable price. Also nice to see the food of my people well represented in the local neighborhood. Have to say, the flavors and preparation of the Korean food is pretty authentic reminding my of my mom’s cooking. I realize the business model of this joint is a standard bowl with your choice of Korean toppings. But would love to see some greater variety of dishes at some point. But what is available is top notch.

This place is one of the few korean places in my area and good too! They have a small selection but it’s much easier to choose from. Each comes with a variety of things. Edamame, gross, lettuce, pickled radish, rice, etc. and then you pick the choice of meat you would like. The seaweed soup is really good! It has good flavor. Also there was complimentary water bottles. Also they have a lot of different sauces for you to choose from. You must try this place if you’re a big fan of korean food!

Namoo Korean is an amazing find for this part of the DFW area. I had seen the reviews and bookmarked it, and was in the area so we had to try it. The whole family was along and every one of us was sighing and saying how delicious it was all the way home. I have the grilled shrimp and they had the beef bowls. The bowls have many of the traditional Korean accompaniments such as rice, vegetables and of course the pickled diakon radish. The meat was well cooked and very tasty. Just watching the team work you can see that they care about the quality of the food and its presentation. I was delightfully surprised that the meal came with a bottle of water and soup. We will definitely be back for more. We hope to see Namoo Korean Bowl grow and prosper.

I like it. I like it a lot! Very friendly people who make it a point to greet everyone as they come in and thank you when you leave. I told the cashier that it was our first time and she gave us the run down. The portions were just right and the complimentary seaweed soup, which was really flavorful, rounds out the meal. The meat was flavorful and was served piping hot to your table. I like the fact that a bottled water is included in your meal. I’m a bit of a water snob. The only downside is I wish they had better ventilation. I don’t like walking out with my clothes smelling like grilled meat. Other than that, I can’t wait to come back and try the other bowls!

Really glad I tried this small but authentic tasting Korean food. The Bulgogi(authentic sauce) is prepped well. I love Bipimbap every since living in Korea. This Korean Bowl is walk-in style and laid back. You can order the bowls based on your meat preference. After ordering help yourself to the seaweed soup(if you would like) and a bottle of complementary water. My husband ordered The Seoul Bowl and was very pleased. He handed the ginger over to me and actually tried seaweed soup. He is not usually adventurous. Although, I really just dipped him the broth. I added a little soy sauce to mine. I got the Bipimbap. Rice, Bulgogi, zucchini, carrots, lettuce, egg. Healthy and tasty. Was a little disappointed it was not in a hot stone bowl, it was in a golden bowl. But it was still good. I use extra hot pepper paste on mine and got my egg sunny side up. I’m pleased with it being a meal under $ 20 for 2. I likely will go back and try something else because the hot stone bowl makes the dish 110% for me.

OMG! This place is AWESOME! The food is super delicious. I got the Seoul bowl. Everything about the bowl is amazing. You got a lot of food for the price. There is also self serve seaweed soup. I didn’t think I would like but I do. Also, I love they give you free bottled water… yes BOTTLEDWATER ! I like the open kitchen they have. You can see your food being cooked and has a simple, casual vibe. They have a small staff but efficient and friendly. There was one girl who actually bowed when she served another customer their food. Talk about customer service. Go an try this place!

I would definitely come back if I am in the area again. Reasonably priced and all bowls come with a bowl of seaweed soup and a free bottle of water. I really like the bottle water idea. My husband and I both got the Korean Classic galbi bowl. You get a good amount of beef ribs with rice, some veggies and a fried dumpling. Both of us enjoyed our meal and the clean environment.

Big fan after my first lunch-visit. The concept is very straight-forward and simple. Pick a bowl based on meat&sauce, soup and bottle of water comes with it for, like, 9 bucks. Varieties range from Chicken to Pork to Beef and Shrimp. Each bowl contains a bed of white rice, a small salad of shredded lettuce and cabbage, some pickled items like daikon, ginger and jalapeño and nestled in there is a fantastic dumpling(potsticker). Some dishes carry a spice-level on the sauces ranging from 1 thru 5 but there’s also some squirt-bottles of sauce on the counter with the appropriate labels of hotness on em. I’m a huge fan of the heat so I ordered mine at level 4 which, in Thai restaurant terms would have been about a 2.5 so order accordingly. The soup that comes with your meal is a clear, chicken + garlic broth with seaweed that was absolutely delicious. If they sold this soup by the big bowl, I’d be all over it. Service was very helpful, friendly and prompt. Everyone was all smiles and there’s a nice friendly vibe to this tiny restaurant. Namoo has made my list and will be on regular rotation for lunch joints. The 5 other folks dining with me(from work) all agreed as well.

I’m always skeptical on Korean joints because often times they Americanize the food and it is not the authentic Korean flavors I grew up eating. I admit I have high expectations, I am Korean-American and I expect Korean food to be Korean food. We walked into Namoo, a discrete, small restaurant in a NRH strip mall, and greeted the proprietor in Korean. Ahhhh, yes, they are Korean. Good sign. Namoo is a simple concept, traditional Korean foods, but but in a single serving bowl. Unlike traditional restaurants where it is family style, this concept plays to the American culture by putting the meals in single serving bowls. But the menu items are very Korean. I order the spare ribs bowl — Galbi(as we say in Korean). It was exactly how I expected it. My husband ordered the pork, and my son ordered the tempura shrimp. The bowls all come with rice and a little bit of chop chae(noodles), and daikon(pickled radish). Sadly, the dishes do not come with the traditional Korean staple with every meal — kimchee. All meals come with seaweed soup, which is very traditional. You serve yourself the soup. And it is very authentic. Tastes exactly like my mom’s seaweed soup. I really want this place to stick around. So many restaurants come and go in this area. I’m not sure if the community here will love it, and they can make it work, but I sure hope they do. We’ll be sure to become regulars! Oh they added bimbibob!!! Love

Great place for a casual and super affordable Korean food! $ 8/$ 9 bowls that are just enough to fill you right up and satisfy that dang Korean craving(and not spend $ 30)!! A single page menu with pictures. Simple and ez I like it! No tax on bowls so if it says $ 8 it’s $ 8! I tried the galbi bowl and the pork cutlet bowl and it was very tasty and authentic, that’s coming from a Korean food quality nazi! Believe me I hate nothing more than eating cheap Korean food but you know… there’s just something about the quality and satisfaction of the good o’ $ 15 dish or $ 25 buffet that a cheap place doesn’t provide… or so I thought! This is probably the first Korean food place I stumbled upon that you get more bang for your buck and won’t break the bank! Did I mention it’s free soup and one free bottled water per visit? How nice! :P

Came here today because another Unilocaler recently visited. The menu was extremely simple 10 items to choose from I ordered«The Gangnam Bowl» $ 9 grilled chicken breast with signature home made sauce and my wife ordered«The Seoul» $ 10 miranated beef with original Korean sauce. You also get seaweed soup. The portions were perfect for us and the food tasted great. I thought it was great for a fast food place. I’m glad we came here.

Yesterday was my first time along with two of my friends. The place is pretty small, I think there were about 5 – 6 tables. Décor is nice. Friendly staff that greet you on the way in and out. We got the Chashu, Fresh Ocean, and Tofu bowls. We tried each other’s bowl and were equally satisfied with it. Good location if you go to TCC, you could stop by for lunch. Each bowl comes with rice, lettuce, edamame, pickled daikon and jalapeños. There’s even seaweed soup on the side! Goes great with your bowl. Your meal also comes with a water bottle. There are sauces on the side if you’re a sauce person. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back~~ My other friends are planning to visit soon!
