Excellent food & service. Had 2 combinations +sweet & sour chicken. Miso soup was yummy, salad dressing was unusual but very good. Mixed Tempura with dinner combo was 2 shrimp and about 6 veg. BEEF terriyaki was a little over-sauced but tender and tasty. Spicy tuna roll & Alaska rolls were generous portions and very fresh. Sweet & sour chicken was just crunchy enough without being over-breaded. All that for $ 40 and took some home. Will def make this a regular stop… love the variety of offerings of sushi and chinese entrees :) Actually prefer the BYOB.

This a great place if you’re looking for some good sushi with a good price. We had a dinner combo, only 13.95. We got two meals, chicken Katsu and chicken teriyaki with soup and salad. Chicken Katsu was pretty good– I would get it again, but the chicken teriyaki wasn’t my favorite. The service was great! We immediately got seated and they served us edamame. They were really attentive most of the time. We accidentally over loaded. Chicken Katsu: 8⁄10 Chicken teriyaki: 5⁄10 California roll: decent! 7⁄10 Spider roll: 6⁄10 Ahi tower: 6.5÷10

If you like masago and large rolls, which I do, then this is your place. Very good selection and affordable prices with very attentive employees. I found several rolls with masago decorated on top which is a big plus with me. The Ft Worth roll looked good on paper but fell short for a strange reason– it was TOO much. The salmon and tuna laid over the top was taken over by a big blob of crab mix used in CA rolls that topped the fish, what? They’re new, we’ll learn together, lol.

We started with fried rice. I guess you can’t mess that up too bad. When the California roll came out my daughter grabbed a piece. Half way through her first bite she asked if she could spit it out. I tried one and did spit it out. When the chicken curry came out that was it… we left hungry. Service was great

My husband and I go almost every weekend since it opened… We absolutely love it! Their food is authentic, priced VERY well, and it’s BYOB(score!). If you’re coming to be impressed by décor, then you’ll be disappointed. If you’re coming for great food, outstanding value, attentive service, and free edamame/dessert, then you will love this place!

We were very impressed with this place. The restaurant was very clean, they gave us very good service and the food was amazing. They are BYOB so you can bring anything you like to drink. I will definitely be back. We had a great night.

Servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice. I work right across the street and have an hour for lunch, but the food came out quickly. I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch special. The edamame plate they give out was a delightful surprise. The only disappointment was the actual main course which was much much too salty for my liking. They may have just had an off day in the kitchen but I could barely take more than a couple bites of food. The only thing I really are was the white rice. I may give this place another shot, but I was slightly disappointed :(

SODISAPPOINTED. This place is like ½ a mile from my house, the prices are great, you can BYOB right now(until they get their liquor license)… It sounds perfect! Unfortunately… The food just isn’t good. They have a $ 13.50 dinner special: miso soup, salad, bowl of rice, and 2 selections from a list(we only opted for sushi & sashimi, didn’t try any other stuff). They brought out a bowl of edamame(complimentary). I appreciated the free-ness, but it was cold, like it had been refrigerated. Ick. The miso soup tasted off. That’s the best way I can describe it. It wasn’t BAD, but it wasn’t good. The salad was wet iceburg lettuce with a watery white dressing that had no flavor. Seriously, none. Maybe they mixed 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing with a cup of water. Definitely wasn’t the ginger taste you’re used to at Asian/Japanese/sushi places. The salmon sashimi was actually really good. We had 3 rolls– the spicy tuna roll, the Alaska roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. The spicy tuna & Alaska roll are decent– not great, and not worth ordering again. The shrimp tempura one was gross. My husband paid an extra dollar to change his bowl of rice to chicken fried rice. I feel like fried rice is pretty easy… I mean, I’m a white girl, and I can make a decent fried rice. It was the most BLAND, tasteless rice I’ve ever had. Awful. We got a TON of food for $ 30(after tax): edamame, 2 miso soups, 2 salads, 3 rolls, 5 pieces of salmon sashimi, 1 bowl of brown rice and 1 bowl of fried rice. Unfortunately, I only actually liked ONE of those items! We didn’t receive the free dessert. As others mentioned– English is not the first language here, so it’s a little tough to ask questions or really communicate. Not the end of the world, but something to mention. I won’t return.

Service was very friendly. The limited English with a couple of the servers made it difficult for them to explain some of the dishes or understand what we were asking. But it is s new restaurant so I’m sure as time goes on they will become more knowledgeable of their menu. They start you off with free bowl of edamame. Which were pretty good. I am not a huge edamame fan. So I ordered tobiko sushi(small fish eggs) 3 color sashimi rice(tuna, yellow tail and salmon) and the grilled saba. . First the grilled Saba was outstanding. It’s was so juicy and flavorful. The skin was cooked to a perfect crispness. It was some of the best grilled fish I have had in awhile. Would definitely go there just eat that again. The 3 color sashimi was also very good. The amount of sashimi you get in this is amazing for the price of 16.95. The quality of the fish was good, it tasted fresh had good flavor. But the rice it was on top of was the best cooked seasoned Japanese rice I have ever eaten. I was amazed by this rice. Last time I had rice this good was in Hawaii. They put the tobiko on top of this sushi dish which was a great touch. Yummy yummy ! They end your meal with a free dessert which is a tempura banana, chocolate ice cream and whip cream. The only thing worse than a soft banana is a hot soft banana. That thing was so gross. But that mostly just because of personal preference and the whole mushy banana texture which makes me want to hurl. I also hate whip cream so take my review on any dessert with a grain of salt. But the chocolate ice cream was really good, not overly sweet, good creamy texture and a nice chocolaty taste! Can I also say that the fried rice and wontons I saw at the table next to us looked amazing. This new restaurant is a must try if you live in this area.

We tried it and we loved it! The lunch special are super rationally priced and delicious! The chicken cashew was a star, as it is the fried udon nooddles. Both plates came with more than enough side dishes including a spring roll, rice, salad, and soup. All for less than $ 10 each! Highly recommended.

This is a new place that just opened near my house and while I was nervous at first, it was a great experience! I order the lunch combo with 2 orders of California rolls, this came with rice, soup, and salad! Plenty for two people. I would recommend ordering only one and maybe an extra rice, we ordered two lunch combinations and it was way too much food, not a bad complaint! The miso soup it comes with was really tasty. Service was very attentive and my glass was never empty. I will definitely be returning and I hope this place stays in business for years to come!

This is a new spot that just opened near my house. I’m very picky about my sushi so I’m always worried about trying new places. But this spot did not disappoint, sushi was fresh and size of rolls were TEXAS size! Hopefully they continue to give these large rolls. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they don’t sell alcohol yet, hopefully they get their liquor license soon then I’ll give them their 5th star as long as they continue with fresh sushi!!! Will definitely be back!
