I was referred to Matrix Sports Medicine by my PCP when I was experiencing shoulder pain from a fall. During my first visit, Tory assessed my injury and I began to feel some relief after my first visit. After a few more treatments, she felt I might have more than strained muscles and updated my PCP. An MRI was ordered and several tears in my shoulder were found. I continued PT before surgery and for several months afterwards. Tory was always professional and did a great job prepping me for a successful surgery and ensuring I healed properly afterwards. Whenever anyone I know needs PT, I always refer them to Matrix and will definitely return if I need to!

I was incorrectly diagnosed with a pinched nerve by a chiropractor. After 2 visits to the chiro and feeling worse as the week went on, I went to my primary care physician. My pcp then referred me to PT. I was having severe pain down my arm and upper neck/back and tingling in 2 of my fingers. Fortunately I ended up at Matrix! Tory conducted an initial evaluation(questioning, conducting some range of motion activities…). After only 20 minutes Tory explained that she felt my issue was not just a pinched nerve and that I possibly had disc problems. With my permission she contacted my pcp and relayed her findings and concerns to my pcp, suggesting that an MRI be ordered. Fortunately, my pcp agreed and I had one. It turned out that I had 1 ruptured disc, 2 bulging discs, and some other spinal issues. Without Tory’s professional intervention I can’t imagine how I would have turned out!!! I have undergone c-spine surgery(2 discs had to be removed) and have just returned to Tory for my post-surgery PT. In addition to Tory, there is a licensed massage therapist– Peter. He is awesome as well!(and he not only works with«injuries», but offers massages as well) AND the secretary Allie is so friendly and accommodating. I am thrilled to have found such a professional and caring place. I recommend Matrix to EVERYONE!

I was in a car roll over recently and got some pretty bad neck and upper back pain. The doctor said it was whooplash and referred me to here welll… It was awesome! The place is relatively small and the the docotor was super nice and helpful. She wasn’t corny or cheesy like most doctors but was really genuine and helped me on the first day even though it was just an evaluation! Most docs just want your insurance money but she acually seemed to want to help. She did some muscle massages and recommended exercises to help neck movement. Overall this is a great place and super helpful, although they dont take debit cards :/
