Galassi’s Sub Shop

Just had the worst sub ever!!! This place has gone so far downhill it will never recover. An assorted that was salad on a roll with a sliver of cheese along with a slice each of salami, ham, and capicola, it was pitiful. And the rest of the order was almost as bad. They need help or close the doors… The star is for the oil!

One of the best sub shops in WNY. Their NIGHTMARE sub is incredible. Have to try that when you visit.
Gail, the owner is first class. Brought a friend there for the first time and she brought out a slice of pizza right out of the oven for him to try. Nice touch! Will surely be back soon!

This place is a true relic for me. My grandmother brought all of her grandchildren here
over 30 years ago and I still love stopping in occasionally to this day. The décor is very 70’s which I find old-​school charming.
Service has always been friendly, I come for one thing and one thing only-​ham subs. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want a delicious ham sub with the best seasonings and oil on a slightly salted roll (yum), you need to give them a try!

Not even worthy of 1 star. My parents used to come here 30+ years ago and we decided to try it again and re-​live their past… Big mistake. Apparently their tag line is «Home of the Nitemare» which is supposedly their specialty sub. This place is a «nightmare» for sure.
Onion rings were burnt to a crisp and tasted like we were eating a salt lick. The steak and cheese subs we ordered were DISGUSTING. The meat was absolutely full of fat and so gross that all 3 of us ended up picking the subs apart and trying to remove the fat from the meat, which was a lost cause. Should have known when we saw the plastic vat that the meat was stored in next to the grill… It’s making me sick just thinking about it.
Stay away from Galassi’s. They should close that place down. Do yourself a favor and go down the street just a few blocks to Franco’s. They have great food.

Ordered a Turkey Sub, BBQ chicken wings and a calzone. All gross! The wings were burnt, the sub was aweful, the lettuce on it was old and wilted and the turkey tasted not so great and the calzon contained some kind of strange sauce! I will NOT be ordering from them again!
