Makeup Artistry by Liz

I hired Liz earlier this year to give my routine a tune-​up and to help me navigate some of my purchasing choices. I have felt pretty adept with the makeup thing, but thought I should have a professional check my work and I wanted to make sure I didn’t waste any more money buying the wrong products. She really did up my game and help me un-​do some bad habits I’d developed over the years. (When I look back at some pre-​Liz photos, I cringe a little!) People have also commented that I look great, look younger, etc. I have continued to fine-​tune over time, based on what I learned from Liz. If your profession requires looking your best (mine does) you should consider getting a lesson from Liz. It’s a lot of fun and you can learn a lot.

Liz is the best! She is a pleasure to work with and brings out your best features to make you look gorgeous without being overdone.

I am so glad that we chose to go with Liz for our wedding makeup! She did an amazing job with all of us, and was really professional and laid back. She knew just the perfect makeup to go with my vintage look, and I never felt more beautiful. She also did a fantastic job with my partner, who is a butch woman but wanted to have her skin makeup-​ready for the photographs.
She was really calm and fun to talk to, which helped to ease my pre-​wedding jitters. She met us at the salon where we were getting our hair done, and the whole process was so seamless. I would highly recommend Liz to anybody looking to have their makeup done professionally. It was so great to work with her!!!

Liz did my and my bridal party’s makeup at my wedding, and was awesome. Most importantly, she did great work. I am a very particular person (especially at my wedding), and I literally looked in the mirror when she was done and didn’t want a single thing changed. In addition to being really good at her job, she is also super cool. She is very calm, which I really appreciated. She is organized and professional, and has an attitude towards weddings and makeups that I really appreciated. I would recommend her without reservation.
My only complaint (and I don’t really hold Liz responsible for this), is she recommended our hair person, who I didn’t love love. I can’t find any reviews for her, so will just put mine here. Her name is Jen Adamites (
). Jen did my and my bridal party’s hair at my wedding. I think she was pretty good — at the end of the day, everyone looked beautiful, but I would not put her in the category of totally amazing hair magician. My hair took a ton of tries day-​of, and at the end of the day, I would say I was 85% happy with it. This is partially my fault — as I said above, I am one of the more particular people I know, and I also didn’t have an 100% clear idea of what I wanted. Jen was good about working with me to get it right. But, it was definitely a frustrating and time-​consuming back and forth, and I didn’t ultimately feel like my hair was as perfect as I had hoped, or that she totally got what I wanted. She’s a nice and easy-​going person, and overall, it was certainly no disaster.

Liz did a fantastic job doing the make up for our wedding! Everyone looked beautiful, natural, and most importantly, they all felt comfortable wearing it. She really listened to the style of make up everyone wanted. My mother was hesitant about having her make up done at first, but ended up being so glad that she did. She keeps saying that she would like Liz to do her make up again whenever she has another wedding or event to go to. A bridesmaid who has been in multiple weddings within the last year, said that she liked Liz’s work the best. My partner and I keep saying that we wish we knew how to apply make up like Liz does. All such wonderful signs of Liz’s work! We feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding day!

Liz is amazing! I had been frantically looking for a a make up artist and it seemed as though everyone I talked to was thousands of dollars over my budget or snotty and rude. Until I found liz…
She is not only very reasonably priced but is very kind and laid back. I have only had my make up trial so far and Liz listened to what I wanted. I couldn’t believe how dead on she pinpointed the look I wanted. My eyes looked so massive and so sexy! The area of my face I am self conscious about is my skin. I am have very uneven blotchy skin and blackheads. Liz preformed MIRACLES on my skin. After my trial, I got stopped by several people in stores, and on the street about how amazing my make up was, and I got compliments from my fiancé and family saying that my skin looked flawless (like a doll!). I couldn’t have been happier with the results and I am so excited for Liz to do my make up again on my wedding day.

liz was amazing! she give you quality for your money, its a super sweet person, and a true artist! WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!
