I was starving when I showed up and was quickly told there is currently no food during the week because of staffing issues. I watched three parties come in, sit down and leave upon hearing the same news– maybe they should express this on their site or facebook so people are prewarned? The staff was in and out the front door all night– there were several times when I walked up to the bar and everyone that worked there was outside smoking. A friend walked up while the bartender was looking at her phone and said«excuse me» pretty loudly a few times before she sauntered over like she wasn’t a work. I know the ownership has changed hands again recently so things might be settling in, but it just felt like a bunch of party-hard bartenders thought, «we should buy this place!» and no one is taking the lead and being a grownup to make sure things are running smoothly. I’m happy the Platinum Pony events have a new home– my complaints have nothing to do with the crowd or music. I just feel like if I’m going to put that much money down on a night out the people that work there shouldn’t act like I was blessed to be invited to their personal(expensive) house party.

Disregard all negative reviews. If you are in the mood to have a beer and shot with no bs this is your place

If I could give no stars, I would, but I have to give one. This place was terrible. Disgusting and nasty crowd of people. The bottled beer is the best thing they have. Don’t ever eat here and make sure you leave by 10pm because the bar turns into a gay/lesbian bar/dance club. The most rude and entitled people you could imagine. I would never in my life think about returning to this sewer hole.

No stars. Go there to drink, but don’t make the mistake I did and order food! I know frozen Stoeffer’s microwaved would have been hugely better than what they served me– I straight up couldn’t eat it. I asked the waitress if Chef Boyardee was in their kitchen. They seriously need to take«Grill» off their sign.

Gave this place a try for the signs boasting«live music.» The music was pretty forgettable(a not-so-great cover band with men in their 60’s), but then again, everyone’s tastes are different. While surrounding areas feature a variety of imported and craft beer, this one seems to stick to the Sam Adams /Bud Light variety. Additionally, the interior wasn’t welcoming or the type of place you’d want to sit for hours: dark, undecorated, and the seats are pretty uncomfortable. All in all, walk down the road if you’re hoping to relax with a good brew.

Went to see a band there and decided to try dinner there prior to the show. The place overall doesn’t have much character, no decorations, no artwork. I think they should put some comfy seating in and add a little ambiance. Everything looks hard and cold and uncomfortable. I ordered the blueberry tart martini, it advertised it came with fresh blueberries, but were never found in my drink. To eat, my first selection was the Vermont turkey burger which the waitress informed me they were out of, so I went with my second pick. The teriyaki chicken Alfredo. It was amazing and that’s why I’m giving them 4 stars. My man had a very large burger which he said was good. They have a good, creative drink menu and I will definitely go back when I’m in town! Hopefully they can keep ingredients in stock that they advertise.

This place recently opened where the previous Tully O’Reilly’s Pub was. Tully’s was a notorious dive bar with a fabulous chef and a specials board that was out of this world, as well as a decent draft beer selection. We have been to One twice. Our experience has been that the food is good, but the draft beer selection is very poor. The entrees are way over priced. The only reason we even tried them the first time was because they were having a $ 10 entrée special. The new colors in the room are good, contemporary, but the décor(or lack of) is boring, no decorations on the walls, no real theme going on. Nothing to make me say«hey, this is a cool place.» No «interest» to grab people. Lately, they’ve been putting out a sandwich board boasting $ 2.00 jello shots. Talk about a turn off. We are disappointed and sad. We were hoping this place would make us forget Tully’s. It has done the opposite. We hope they can turn it around. They’ve got one of the greatest spots in the city, a busy corner, lots of window seating, lots of space. It could be fabulous.
