My child attends a satellite location and will be attending at the Plainfield location. They are fun, teach great behavior including gratitude, and it’s informative. I have no doubt she is learning real skills and technique. It has also been a confidence booster. We are involved in many activities and are hard to please. I can’t say more about her instructionaries there.

My son came to this school when he was 9 (3 years ago). His previous tae kwon do experience included one school that was very strict (and not fun) and one that was fun but not great at teaching the correct techniques. This school has the perfect balance. There are a lot of kids, which makes it fun and very talented instruction. HIs master, Master So, was a Tae Kwon Do champion back in Korea. He knows his stuff and because of that, my son has really blossomed. I am very grateful to the KH Kim school. And by the way (because I always wonder when I read other reviews), no one from there asked me to write this review. :)

Way too Intense!!!
My son transferred to this gym after moving. He had advanced to a fairly high belt while having fun at another gym. That was not the case here. The masters do not know how to make it fun. The boys were given scores in front of each other and very little encouragement. My son came away more dejected each week until he wanted to give up the sport. Not great for his self esteem.
When I approached the manager in a nice way to let them know we wanted to quit I received nothing but a run around for an entire month. The grand master never even met my son. Watch out, they clearly don’t care about keeping people happy once their contract is signed.

Great place and the Masters are incredible. My son’s behavior has completely changed since he enrolled. His grades have improved and his confidence also. I usually take him 3 times a week. He loves attending and is waiting /hoping one day to be a black belt.
