I made the decision to go eat at this location since I had not tried it before. I knew what to expect since I had been to the Denver & South Littleton location. This did not disappoint. We were greeted as we stepped in the door and given the choice of tables to sit. I loved that they had booths & tables available, even though the parking lot looked full. The waitress was on her game asking for if we’d ever been their before and what drinks we wanted. She gave us time to choose our meals and I went with the green chile burger, nota a bad choice(no heat but it came with a few slices if jalapeño and it was perfect). The others had chicken tenders & a bacon cheeseburger. The waitress had a full area around us but kept checking in on our drinks or if we needed anything else. All in all great experience, I’ll be back and I’m excited to try the breakfast.

Great atmosphere and a really good breakfast special for $ 3.99 called the big bopper. The waitresses are really nice and attentive. Would recommend!

Decided to take the family to a CO diner to get some good food. To our surprise, there was a free kids meal with adult meal. The kids loved their chicken fingers, but even better the diner had a special of burger and 23 oz. beer for $ 10.99. Fat tire on tap was delicious, but not as good as their onion rings. Great recommendation for a place to eat!

I loved it the burger are amazing and the milkshakes are so good it doesn’t compare to Dennys. This place is way better. The staff is really nice and friendly as well Im definitely going back.

The 50s theme is fully explored from the décor all the way to the waitresses uniforms and lipstick. The chicken tenders are hand breaded and the taste is nice and flavorful. The meatloaf is my favorite and is made in house each morning. The milkshakes are huge and filling. I will be going back at least once a month. It’s just good old fashioned food.

Located in a shopping plaza Gunther Toody’s is easy to miss if you don’t see the sign from the highway. If you drive behind it all you see is «restaurant». I drove around a little and after some help from a maintenance man who worked in the plaza I finally located Gunther’s. As I walked in I believe I was greeted with a phrase like, «What’s shakin’ bacon» or something to that extent. I also think my server’s name was«Cadillac». So yeah, it’s a 50s themed diner. Ok, I can handle that once in a while. I was here for a business meeting and only had a cup of chili, which was actually quite spicy. The person I met with wolfed down a burger in about 3 minutes so I’m going to assume he enjoyed it. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.

So apparently they are giving you less malt for your money now. Not excited about that.

Good old fashioned diner with quirky décor. The breakfasts here are amazing and portions huge. The lunches are very tasty as well and really enjoy the malts served old fashioned with the metal cups.

The good: 1) My server, Babs, checked on me several times and kept my drink full. 2) My chicken fried chicken sandwich tasted VERY fresh, with big plump lettuce and tomato on a whole wheat bun. The bad: 3) French fries were weak and soggy. I had to drown them in seasoning salt and pepper to cover the disappointing flavor. 4) the sandwich came with a big bowl of absolutely awful sandwich spread which I can best describe as the offspring of Tartar Sauce and Yum-Yum sauce with the texture of French Onion Dip. Stay Away! I would probably come back to try their breakfast or to grab a plate of chicken fingers.

In the mood for 50’s/60’s meals and Service? This is the place! «Peaches» your Hostress/Head Waitress, is the greatest, her personalized service, and attention to detail, are second to none! It’s a home style flair, mixed with a good food menu. Try the chicken fingers, they’re to die for. And if your bored watch reruns of «Car 54» on the big screens that are mounted around the Restraunt. The prices are reasonable, the customer service, professional & second to none! Go and relax, enjoy yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

I used to go to this location all the time as a kid. We found ourselves up North looking for a spot to eat and decided to swing by for fun. There was a huge disconnect between what’s listed on the menu and what the chef’s were cooking. My boyfriend ordered a BBQ bacon burger that was supposed to have grilled onions, BBQ sauce on the burger and lettuce. They also delivered the sweet potato appetizer without the spicy chipotle sauce. We had to ask for the sauce twice. We mentioned the disconnect to our waitress who immediately let out a sigh of frustration and rolled her eyes… apparently this is a common occurrence? We did ask her to mention it to her manager as well. A manager never came to the table, so I don’t think she relayed the message. A few minutes later the table behind us were delivered a large order of burgers without the sauces… Our waitress did comp us a free milkshake. It was fun sitting there again… so many childhood memories. Cute atmosphere for sure. Just wish the jukeboxes still worked… those were my favorite when I was younger. If you’re new to Gunther Toody’s expect a fun 50’s diner atmosphere including the wait staff. It’s not a 5 star quality restraint… Simple Diner food. But some of the best milkshakes around.

The décor here is a bit much. Its a fun place with LOTS of memorabilia everywhere! The chairs are ripped and dated. There is a lot of activity and lots of wait staff with lots of pins! There is just a lot going on here! Don’t come for alcohol, the selection is limited and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of clarity between the bar and the wait staff. I had to literally look at another table to even know that they serve Bloody Mary’s. The Marilyn Monore I had was super yummy but I question the amount of vodka it contained(if any). The food was solid and yummy! I LOVED the veggie melt! It was as loaded with super fresh veggies and melty cheese. I did have to ask for hot and crispy fries! The ones they brought were cold and soggy!

The only reason they receive three stars is because of their wait person, I think she said her name was Elvis? My wife insisted on going there and I wasn’t happy about it but she always gets what she wants. First the silverware was dirty. She ordered the chicken tenders which came out fine. I ordered the meatloaf open face sandwich. I don’t know what had more salt, the gravy the mashed potatoes or the meatloaf itself. If I didn’t have high blood pressure before I certainly would after eating one fourth of this meal. Did they use a whole carton of salt to prepare this? I don’t know but it sure tasted like it. We have eaten here maybe 7 or 8 times this by far was the worst dinner I’ve ever had there. I just want the manager to know that the feral cats who live out back probably enjoyed it much more than I did.

5 stars from a diner? This is totally deserving after my recent visit. I was in the mood for a burger and shake, so figured I get their great shake and burger combo. When I arrived, on Mother’s Day, I grabbed a seat at the bar and instantly saw the Chicken Fried Chicken blue plate. I was sold. While waiting for the food, I saw the GM working on the line to help with the busy rush and received my food very quick. After cutting into the chicken, my jaw hit the floor. It was probably the best Chicken Fried Chicken I have every had. Not a single piece of gristle and just tender chicken with some real crisp and flaky batter. Not the hard, dry stuff you get at other places. Needless to say, probably one of the best experiences I have ever had was at this diner.

Overall pretty good experience. Definitely a diner with diner type food. Our waitress Freda was good and attentive. Food was cooked to order and out within 20 minutes. My 6 year old had the chicken fingers, of course, and finished them all. Prices are great and atmosphere is not bad. Would come back.

This place is great for kids! Adults? Not so much. The food is pre-made and frozen, and if it isn’t, you could have fooled me! The white gravy is old school and has pork sausage in it, the brown gravy has mushrooms(but they don’t mention them, it’s a surprise!) The chicken was so full of gristle that I sent it back, the fries were’t good. Even my drink was over flavored. My son had a good time, and he mostly enjoyed his food. We won’t be back…

So my friend and I were looking for somewhere that still served breakfast at 11, but didn’t require a long wait time, since we were famished. We came across Gunther Toody’s and thought that this place would work! We were sad to find out that they stopped serving breakfast. I went with the«Bleu Suede Shoe» Burger, which is their Original burger topped with Bleu cheese dressing, batter-fried onion strings, lettuce, tomato, pickles and grilled onions. It totally hit the spot. I am looking forward to going back and hitting up their breakfast menu! Did I mention that they have milkshakes?
