I went to this location with my friends, but I didn’t eat. I know it sounds crazy. The service was really good and the waiter was nice. My friend accidentally ordered a bacon on the potatoes and the waiter fixed it immediately. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back

My wife and I and our friends always enjoy coming here. The food is very good with nice variety including healthy choices. The service is great the place is QUIET so w can visit comfortably. And the prices give good value for good food and very ample portions. We usually bring home part. Rachel is one of the great waitresses there. I hope her managers see this.

I usually go to Black Angus for their coupon specials. This month the feature is steak with your choice of grilled or fried shrimp. Service was great as it usually is. I was seated promptly and only had to wait a short time to give my order to the server, Bianca, who was very pleasant. I chose the grilled shrimp with my steak along with the wedge salad and bar b q beans. I enjoyed everything although I did feel the steak could use a bit more seasoning but salt and pepper from the table fixed that. The house bread that is served before the meal is always good.

This place has totally gone downhill since the last time I visited. For lunch they have«High Noon Specials.» They used to be good. Now they cut back on so many corners, that the corporate hatemongers at Black Angus have made what you get comparable to a fast food restaurant. Instead of a thick juicy steak, now it’s a thin, pale, and tasteless piece of meat that has all the enjoyment of eating your shoe. Instead of grilled shrimp on rice pilaf I asked for(I’ve had this before), they serve some sort of cheap breaded shrimp that resembles frozen TV dinner stuff, with ketchup to dip it in. The baked potato and side of salad were barely tolerable. To top off this rotten meal, they no longer provide hot cookies. While eating at my table, I couldn’t help but notice almost all the other tables around me had dirty dishes. It was like that way for the entire hour I was there. I was seated on the north side of the restaurant by the bar. They weren’t busy but they had no time to clean off all these tables. While it was not my concern, I couldn’t believe they seated another group of customers at one of these tables, with all the dirty dishes and glasses still on it. Even at the most bottom-of-the-barrel restaurants, one would expect they clean the table before seating a new group of customers. Instead, these customers get to look at hours-old leftover food and drink before they clean the table. This made me wonder how dirty things were in places I couldn’t see. I probably won’t be returning.

This is my most favorite steak in Northridge. If you ballin’ this is the place to ball. The service is excellent and the waitstaff is very attractive. Our waitress, Dani, hooked us up by suggesting the best brew to go with our steak. Everything you’ve heard will pale in comparison to the experience. Steak so good I eat it for dessert after I order my cheesecake appetizer ;)

I can’t lie when I said I was dissatisfied. I honestly expected more from this primarily«steak» restaurant. When I feel I can do a better job in my kitchen than a restaurant does, than my money is not deserved. The restaurant was nearly empty when I walked in so I guess that should’ve been a hint, but I thought, «Why not?» Because of my curiosity, I’ve lost time and money I will never get back. The service was very good though. I commend the waiters at this restaurant for being on it. I only wish the food was as good as the service.

This is my mom’s go to place to take out family. LOL not sure why but it’s her favorite. This particular location is a hit and miss customer service wise. You either get amazing service or someone that just dislikes their job. Décor and seating could use a little updating. And the cleanliness as well. We always get sticky tables. Just kinda ruins the whole dining experience. Don’t get me started on the squeaky booth or the wobbly table either. Food wise it’s what you’d expect. Nothing wow or special but the dessert never fails. Drinks… It depends on the bartender I guess. It’s either super strong or all you get is diabetes in a cup.

Food seemed rushed out although the time to receive was exceptionally long. Service was adequate. However we felt the server was on roller skates but never stopped long enough to hear the answers to her questions. Meals warm but not hot. Long wait in between courses. My 5 year old did not receive any attention, therefore not really kid friendly

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Haven’t been here for years. Last visit is when the still had a night club and a dance floor — not that I frequented either, but that’s how long it has been. We needed a place for a post-funeral gathering of family and a few friends. A reservation was made. When confirmed the reservation appears to have not been recorded but the manager recorded the reservation and assured that we’d be well taken care of. And the team a Black Angus delivered. I goofed on the count and we were seated at a table for 10 when I realized I had nowhere to sit. Dumb me… Can’t count. There were 11 of us! The hostess immediately reseated us. Very kind and efficient. Our server was too. Lunch was good; nobody disappointed. Everyone seemed happy. One person did not eat her green beans. Very unusual but I noticed that the still had the tips and tails. That’s probably what the issue was. Tips are OK but the tails(stems) could be a choking hazard. Other than that, our event went without a hitch and the kindness of the staff had much to do with it.

Came here with the family, had amazing service provided by Corri, our wonderful server who was really attentive and made great food suggestions. She took the time to provide us with excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this place, the food was delicious.

My date and I made reservations and was seated in a timely manner on a very busy Friday evening. Our server was nice and energetic. We did the campfire for 2 special and whoa was it delicious. The only thing was a concern was the timing of receiving our food. The appetizer was right away and it seemed like a good 30 minutes after we were done in getting our meal. It was a busy night, just seemed like we could have been told it was going to take longer than they expected. Overall I will visit again. The left overs were just as delicious as day 1!

Let’s talk about this $ 8.99 lunch special –promotional scam they run that should be removed asap! My receipt on the left is $ 15.25 before the promo & the receipt on the right is $ 14.10 after the promo(with purchase of the required drink) is this really a promotion or a scam to make people think they’re getting a much better deal? I mean a dollar difference, really? Not to mention the lunch salmon is extremely small. I used to really like Black Angus… The only good thing I could say from this lunch was the nice size of the Caesar salad… that’s about it.

Horrid service. For me, it’s all about being graciously served by good staff… Otherwise, I could cook better food at home. Invariably, the service is decent during lunch and irritatingly slow during dinner. I wonder when they’ll realize that Roger’s Rib Shack is happy to care for their ignored customers and they serve delicious beef ribs!

My fiancé wanted steak so the first few places I thought of were Maestros and Delmonicos but instead she mentioned she wanted to try Black Angus. My first impression was like, «Black Angus?!! What the hell!» But you know the saying, «Happy Wife, Happy Life» so I just rolled with it. I’d never had Black Angus before and little to my surprise, this place was actually really good! When we showed up the place was packed like we had just stumbled upon the grand opening of a new little restaurant off Venice Beach. The wait time was about 45 mins for a seat and finally after about 30 mins we decided to eat at the bar. The service was good and they even had a little entertainment in the back. We couldn’t really hear the guy but we saw him leaving with his equipment. The set up looks a little old, almost like a Sizzlers type of feeling and I get that same vibe from Red Lobster too(All the older restaurants my parents use to take us to as a kid). It’s not a bad thing, it just adds a little bit of nostalgia to my dinning experience. As for the food, we decided to go with: Wedge Salad — which was really good. Your typical wedge salad with bacon and ranch. Can’t really go wrong here. 6 oz Filet Mignon with Grilled Pawns — This dish was pretty much perfection. Just a few more prawns would of made this a masterpiece! The filet was nice and tender. Pure meat with no trace of fat anywhere. Each bite pretty much melted in my mouth. The rice was good and the prawns were definitely on hit! 6 oz Filet with Garlic Mash and onions — I had a taste of her garlic mash and it was good. She also had me take a bit of the steak with the grilled onions on it and it complimented the steak very well. I think I’ll get that next time for sure. Overall, we had a good time here and we may possibly be back whenever we have that steak craving again. It’s definitely a lot softer on the wallet than the other two places I thought we would of ended up at. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

I guess its been over two years since I’ve ate at a Black Angus. To my surprise the service was very slow and I cook see why. My server was the bartender, so she was making the drinks for the dinning room and the bar area.Great.So I remained practice. I could see a employee making drinks, because I was seated in the bar area. Not knowing she was my server, however she was. I’m all for cross-training your employees, however it hurts your service. I would strongly suggest you put an additional employee on during lunch period, or many a bartender. They still put out some decent food. I ordered a sirloin steak, med well with a baked potato and a side salad. The presentation of the plate was appealing and most of all the steak was cooked right. So their focus should be on their service, put additional employees to help during your busy times. Set your employees up for success, not failure. 2015 Unilocal challenge.061/100

A saturday night + lots of birthdays + not a lot of waitresses = loooooooooooooong waits. Before I get to complaining about the wait let me just say that the food was delicious & I have no complaints about that whatsoever. My dads steak was cooked a little more than what he wanted but he still enjoyed his meal as well as my mom. 45 minute wait to be seated but no surprise there so that was fine. We finally get seated & after ordering it took what felt like YEARS just to get our appetizers & our soup/salad. 20+ min wait for SOUP and SALAD. The waitress let us know the main food would be out soon but soon really meant another 15 minutes lol. She was nice about it though, she apologized for the long wait & since the food was great I was still happy. Yes I would definitely come back here when I’m craving a good steak but maybe I’ll call ahead & see how long the wait is next time, especially when I’m starving !
