If anyone gives this place more than a 2 star rating I believed you were either paid to do so or you got extremely lucky and had decent food/service. When I came to this restaurant, all the food was old and dry. The place looks overall cheap and dirty. I rather pay extra and go somewhere else.

Came here on a Sunday for a double date. They had all you can eat Chinese food. They even had a chef there to make something for you. The price was good. They had very little dessert table. I do recommend to try the orange chicken fried rice and their shrimps.

For the price, it is very delicious. I ate a bunch of sushi rolls that would have cost me about 3x the price of the lunch. Favorite item of the buffet is the salt and pepper crab.

Service is absolutely a disaster. Servers look like they don’t want to help . Food is okay. Realistically food is a hit or miss.

Sometimes, you get what you pay for, although really, the prices are not that low for food that is not that good. Believe me, there are better places within a couple of miles from here.

This restaurant is just pure garbage! I went there with a couple of friends and It was the first time going there today and for sure I’m not ever going back! The whole restaurant smelled like someone peed all over the place. They were also rushing us to leave. 20 minutes into eating and they had already given the check. I’d rather buy a box of cup of noodles and save money!

Sad excuse for a buffet. Smelled like my restroom, incompetent staff, food is mediocre at best The place itself is understaffed. The utensils are dirty as hell. Poor management of the place overall. Save your money and go to Chili’s next door.

We wanted a cheap buffet. We got cheap. And ants on the fruit bar, and bathrooms that were filthy and smelled. Why would you put chicken feet on a bar where you would have to lift them over fruit in the front?

No, no, no DONOTGO. you’ll regret it !!! How does this place stay in business??? All the one star reviews below are justified, and there are MANY. I, m sure most would be O Stars. The place is dirty once you sit down and look around, and you know you will never return after a good look. Because it is such a turn-off you only pick things that you think won’t make you sick. It is so dingy. I would be embarrassed to say this is my place. The food is low quality and there is no thought given to taste or how it is served. This place has no appeal and the owner doesn’t seem to care. Again, the food is as cheap as possible and this is evident. It is evident that they think they may not need to improve and update this business. I would be afraid to go behind the scenes. Prison food is likely better. I do have to be fair and say that the sesame balls are pretty much what I ate, cause they were acceptable and palatable and pretty much a-ok

Ggood selections and cheaper than Hokkaido. I was not able to try everything because I got full. The teppan service is great and tasty. The meat selections are beef, chicken, pork or lamb, and shrimp. The sushi choices were average but good quality and with nice presentation. They had a lot of shell foods which I will try next time. We will definitely come back … sorry too busy eating.

Went here last weekend(first time) for lunch. Food was okay. Typical dishes for an asian buffet. Nothing special here. They still have a CRT television hanging on the wall — which is an indication this place has not been updated for a while. I thought I traveled back in time. One thing my son loved was they had lychee fruit.

Horrible service, I used to love this place but after mothers day I will never return. Mothers day was a nightmare, it was incredible packed and not enough staff. I would assume that being a holiday they would be prepared for such an occation but hell nah they werent. Ice ran out, drinks tasted warm and soda had no gas. Plates ran out, berely any forks. Food lasted only 1 minute and they were trying to cook so fast that it came out burned or tasted like crap compared to regular days. Service was nom existing it took them 30 minutes to bring us our sodas and 30 more minutes to bring us our waters. Bathrooms were so bad I felt safer in gasoline station than here. never again will I return, they killed my childhood favorite restaurant. Stay away, take it from someone who has been coming here for 15+ years or so. Its horrible now, bad! Not to mention i bought the 20 dollars for 30 dollars deals on Unilocal and the owner dint want to acknowledge it when clearly the contract says they have to and no extra restrictions may be imposed even on holidays. the owner kept fighting with me saying is not valid on a holiday I was like«fuck that the contract states you must take it and service is so bad either take it or I walk out without paying for the rest that I owed. Horrible. trash, basura! stay away.

How many times have people plead being the victim in order to spare themselves the heavy weight of responsibility? When I was asked to attend the China Olive Buffet with some friends I agreed to go. I could have said no. I could have went off and found my own lunch somewhere. I could have cooked my own meal. I could have simply not eaten, but I said yes. And that yes will be my own cross to bear for the end of time. Eating at the China Olive Buffet, for me, is kind of like going on a bad blind date. At first I was excited to be going, at all the possibilities, but once I actually got there doubt immediately began creeping in from the back of my mind. I grabbed a plate and began serving myself food. My friend commented how little food I was getting and, like a fool, I responded with«I’m getting a little of everything, so I know what I should come back for!» How naïve I was to think there was any hope in a single dish they were serving. I ate one bite, and was surprised at how bad it was. Then another, and another. Each bite more disappointing then the last. I cursed the gods for deceiving me with what I thought was quality food. I paid $ 17, a king’s ransom. A price tag which at most restaurants would guarantee me at least some type of satisfaction. But the only refuge that I found was in the water. The best thing at this restaurant was the water. I think I suffer from some sort of PTSD from eating here, because now every time I drive by this place I get flashbacks of my experience there. The one thing positive I will say about the China Olive Buffet is that it did not bring my stomach to a violently ill state that I fully expected that it would. Abandon all hope ye who enter here.

this place is the worst. I have come here twice to try to redeem it and maybe change my mind about it. Its not worth the price at all! But I rather eat at panda, shoot, I rather just go to a Taco stand than do this again. I guarantee it is much more fulfilling than this. The sushi, was not fresh, the food was all mixed up, the brownies did not even taste like brownies, the chow mein tasted like cardboard. They put Mayo on the muscles! I mean, it just seems like the food has been sitting there for hours, and its been tampered with by customers. Gross. Buffets are good in Vegas, and Even home town buffet but this was not a good spot to dine in. Save your money and go to Chili’s Across the way.

First time coming here: 1. The food is good. 2. Restrooms are dirty 3. They give you the check really fast. 4. The taxes are greater then what you actually pay for the food. Ex. Our plates were $ 23(2 persons) and the tax were $ 27. It is an outrageous price for taxes. This will be my first and last time coming here.

As I wrote before I am not a fan of buffet. I was here for a Year End party with a group of people. We were escorted in a room for ourselves only, that was good. Sticky table tops. I didn’t like that. Manila clams were excellent, was gone so fast I couldn’t get the second. I was lucky getting the grilled fish, cause others were asking me where I got that. Most of buffet food were not bad or not good. The best part of this place is huge parking lot. And the price. You can’t find those two things easily even on Reseda Blvd.

As I was reading the reviews, I was hesitant to try this place. Personally, I’m a fan of buffets because of the endless food… I mean, who wouldn’t be? The only problem with buffets is that the quality of the food is compromised to compensate for the price. Well, knowing this, I still decided to give this place a try. First off, this place was packed! I guess that’s a good sign… Right? After browsing around and seeing what they offer, my friends and I decided to go for it. Honestly, food was not bad! I can actually say I enjoyed it. They offered an array of Chinese dishes as well as the universal chicken nuggets, French fries, pizza, etc. Adjacent to the buffet room is the Mongolian BBQ section where you can basically make your own dish. They have meats ranging from steak, chicken, pork, shrimp and even fish! First time I’ve seen so many options for do it yourself Mongolian BBQ! Also, they have a small menu of different types of soups you can order. All of this is included with the initial buffet price! Not bad at all. The food, like I said, was not bad. The Mongolian BBQ was EXTREMELY salty, however. So salty, I could literally feel the hypertension coming along… Overall, not a bad experience except for sodium content. For me, it’s a deal-breaker; which is why I’ll give this restaurant 3 stars. Can’t stand too much sodium in my food. Otherwise, food isn’t bad and I would recommend that anyone give this place a try!
