I tend to go for the weekend prime rib. Friday is my favorite, because I love clam chowder. Pretty much my choices are Devonshire and Reseda, and Sepulveda near the 118. These restaurants continually run out early. They take turns disappointing me. One or both will be out of rare-medium but have plenty of medium well and we done. If I can’t make it by 6p.m. or so I don’t even try. At that time usually one of the two will be okay. Anytime after that forget it. They’ll have well and medium well all night though. When will they learn and adjust? The one at Roscoe and Woodman is a disaster. I gave up on them years ago. Then I figured I give them one last chance, and they flubbed up. I’ll never walk into that place again. On the rare case that I go to the San Gabriel valley, the one off the 60 at Garfield/Wilcox I think it is, has never disappointed me. I’m just not out there very often. Come on Coco’s, wake up… rare, medium rare and medium… that’s what we want. I’d like to give 2.5 stars…3 for the food and 2 for the management.

No stars, 2nd poor, horrible experience at this location. For starters Host/hostess tried to seat us at a table that was meant for ONLY2 people, then we couldn’t be seated in area cause they were trying to accommodate another party that came in way after us. As I’m getting through my breakfast, I come across hair under my French toast as I’m already eating it. Then cleared the plate pretty quick before I could get a photo, they did offer to replace but at that point I completely lost my appetite. Needless to say I will NOT be back to this location again, service and quality have gone way down.

Beyond slow service. But I will say they are really nice Ordered the steak and eggs. Medium. It literally was charred lol I was starving so I ate half, now I feel nauseous. Everything took forever. I think they might be understaffed. Overwhelmed. That was pretty bad though. The cocos on Sepulveda is 100% better

They have the worst service in this restaurant. I have never been so upset about the low quality of customer service. Our waitress took 25 minutes to get 3 waters and our order. If you want to starve come here.

I gave 1 star because it wasn’t an option to leave zero starts but that’s what this place deserves. Although the food isn’t bad, the service is absolutely horrible. My boyfriend and I sat here for 15 minutes before even being greeted. Multiple servers walked by us and looked at us, not even bothering to see if we had been helped. we had menus and no drinks, which is a clear sign we haven’t been assisted. not only that, but a family was seated 10 minutes after us and they were greeted, helped, and received their food before us. NEVER coming here again.

Great place to have a good dinner. Even though they have prices like a Denny’s this Coco’s treats you like you’re at a more expensive restaurant. Service was amazing staff friendly. Most important the food was delicious! If you want to go relax have a great dinner with the family but not spend a ton of money I recommend you eat here!

I was in the area this morning with a friend. I took her out for breakfast and she decided she wanted Coco’s. This place really surprises me. I ordered the pacific scramble with french toast and it was very good. My friend ordered the triple mega and it was a huge portion and a very reasonable price. JR the manger came by constantly to check on us and to refill our coffees and waters, he was on top of it. This is what we enjoyed the most, the excellent customer service, when you do not need to sit and wait for the server to come by, the manager is always ready to assist the guests. Thank you JR for the excellent service and thank you Coco’s!

The waitress was really nice. The prime rib was really dry & cold. Well I guess next time I will order only the eggs. Since I guess this place is not for a hot meal

So posting from IHOP… Cocos, How can you have a light and fit menu with egg white items and not be serving those items because of the price? Increase your prices or get them off your menu. A waste of my time.

The food is good, and you can see they tried to improve on the menu, but the service is just so subpar I can’t give more than 3 stars.

Ruined my whole love for the restaurant chain. Horrible serves horrible food and lip stick on my coffee cup. Sad to say I would never be coming back. To make matters worse the server was joking about how he needs to take a Xanax to cope. Very unprofessional.

I have frequented Cocos since I was a child. Members of my family have worked at various locations across the San Fernando Valley. However, I have never been so mistreated in any restaurant EVER, but apparently being rude a dismissive is acceptable at this Cocos location. Not only did the server rush me to order she was rude about it. At least have the decency to be covert with the rudeness. From ordering to what I wanted to drink, I am clearly bothering this woman by existing. I do not even partake in writing reviews but this review was quite necessary. I have overheard this server with other costumes and she is polite and charming. I will not visit this location again.

Horrible. Ordered turkey Croissant sandwich that tasted as bland as my husband’s prime rib which they only had well done available. Never coming here again. Wish I went to Wendy’s next door! Go to Wendy’s

I don’t know who the cook is here, but a couple tips for you. — never microwave a biscuit! You just don’t do that. — be more careful when cooking eggs. No one likes chewing on egg shells. Last, but not least, thank you Maria H. for not apologizing when I showed you the egg shells in my dish. You could have at least asked me if I would like anything else, so that you guys could make some money. Instead, you took the loss. Great way to do business*

I got a 10 dollar pie here pretty good. Salads were also large and fresh. I got the tuna one.

I really like this Coco’s, it’s always a pleasure coming here. The service is always excellent and the servers are always attentive. The food is also good. I always get their gluten free pancakes meal which I love. The pancakes are so good and fluffy. This time around I had a smoked gouda mushroom burger which honestly looked better in the picture. However it tasted a little better than it looked. I would’ve enjoyed it more if the meat wasn’t so dry. Luckily, I split it with my brother because we were both craving a burger and breakfast. So that leads to the breakfast item we chose to share which was the French toast brioche. Yum! It had a lot of cinnamon which I live and it was crunchy and soft bob textures I enjoy. The brioche came with bacon and eggs cooked the way you like. The bacon was a little to greasy for my liking. As for the eggs I personally don’t like eggs, so my brother chose to have them sunny side up. He definitely enjoyed them. I can’t tell you exactly what my parents had, however they both enjoyed what they got. Our waitress was amazing, the sweetest and most attentive. Like I said I really like this Coco’s in particular because it’s close to my home and one we come to often. Thanks Coco’s!

Came in this morn to do some work and kill some time while my car was in the shop. I Stayed for a couple of hours… I ordered the spinach and cheese omelette. The outside was a little brown but thankfully didnt taste burned. Nothing worse than burned eggs. It was actually very tasty, full of spinach and melted cheese. Coffee was decent but came in a tiny coffee cup. I must have come in before the other cups were washed. I noticed other people in the restaurant had larger cups. This just made my waitress, Berta, work harder to keep refiling. She was great and handled a lot of tables by herself. About an hour later, she started working on another side of the restaurant and another waitress(a Lead, forgot her name) started working in my area, however, she totally neglected to come over to my table. I finally flagged down Jonathon who was very friendly and helped me. I think they just forget about you if your there longer than an hour. All in all, the food was decent and my stay was pleasant. And I say ‘stay’ because my car took so long, I was actually there for over 2 hrs. Reasons for 3 stars, I was told«they dont allow you to plug electronics in». In the electronic age that we live in? They need to get with the times… however, in looking around, there were no outlets anyways. They did offer free WIFI, which had a decent speed. And I really feel as if I was just left in the corner because they knew I had eaten already and thought I wasnt going to order anything else… BUT I was never asked! I would come back if in the area and needed but I wouldnt make a special trip just to go to CoCo’s to eat.

I know I know it’s Coco’s but I would be a bad citizen if I turned the other cheek! I can’t let you lose an hour of your life sitting and waiting in this place in the hopes that you will eat a decent breakfast for pennies on the dollar. The food and service here is indescribable. And their utensils need to be soaked in acid or I don’t know — washed. I would comment on the food but I can’t because this place does not serve food! I will say, the pies are good at least. Enter at your own risk. I guess the possible upside for eating at this place is that you could turn into a Super Hero.

This used to be Carrows, same company. Its now Coco’s. Its very important with type of set –up as you enter this location that you have an employee or a Hostess to greet you so that your not just standing there. With that said. I prefer Coco’s over Dennys. The tables here are close to each other. I usually order my eggs over easy. I played it safe an ordered them scrambled, eggs most be cooked well. I love there home potatoes. Not a bad breakfast. Didn’t like too see the servers doing there side work while there are guests in their sections. Take care of your guests first. Rule of thumb is this Industry, clean as you go. The appearance could use some detail cleaning, especially the case where your pies are displayed. .
