I sent in my bike for tune-up and ask for ASAP if possible and was done within 24 hours. The manager Christ was very nice. Thanks a lot for speedy service!

This place has everything you can think of! I was able to find a pair of soccer cleats for my son, at a reasonable price. Make sure you check in to receive your coupon!

I haven’t Unilocaled before, but I had such a great experience with 2 Sports Authorities today(one in Northridge and one in Canoga Park) that I wanted to let people know. I went to Canoga Park to buy a Trampoline. They didn’t have the size I needed, but Jaimie(assistant manager?) tracked one down for me in Northridge. I know this is not unusual, store lookups are not new, but he was so nice and helpful about it. Then he called the Northridge store and let them know I was coming to buy it. A salesman named Imadul found me wandering around the store and called me by name. He said he had the trampoline waiting for me at the front of the store. On the way out he sold me two pairs of tennis shoes, and arranged to have my new trampoline assembled. He was so friendly and knowledgable that I felt I had stumbled into the wrong decade, like maybe the 50’s when sales people treated customers like they like them. This wasn’t my first great experience with Sports Authority. Their customer service is awesome.

When you come to Sports Authority you already know what you’re gonna get. A nice clean well organized environment with some stores having more selection and variety in sports apparel and shoes than others. The staff isn’t overbearing which is nice and you can browse at your leisure and sometimes find a great deal on things especially if you’re on the mailing list for coupons. However this too is one of those stores that is just dominated by Nike shoes and Adidas choices are slim pickings. I like Nike but I really like Adidas and trying to find variety in stores like these are becoming harder and harder every year. I just don’t get it… but what can you do? Not buy anything and keep on steppin is what I say. If stores aren’t going to cater to both sides of the sporting aisle then they’re just not going to get much of my business I guess. The parking is adequate… I mean you’re in a mall location after all so you can’t be to pissy if you’re having to search for parking especially on a weekend. Again the prices aren’t like out of this world inexpensive but I think you’re paying for just convenience and cleanliness. I think that there are deals to be had in here but it’s on rare occasions.

I came in with my 10 yr old son to get him outfitted with some camping gear for an upcoming Boy Scout trip. The store is large and laid out in a manner that doesn’t seem cluttered or crowded. The different departments were easy to locate and products were well marked. Employees were very friendly and offered assistance where ever we went. We could not find a particular size of hiking boot so one employee searched the back room and the sales floor. When he couldn’t find the shoes he looked up other stores that had it and offered to call them to place the shoes on hold. I chose not to get those shoes and came back a different day and found a better pair of shoes. The employee that day was just as helpful and outgoing. I noticed that when you check in on Unilocal, there was a $ 10 off offer. I told the cashier I wanted to use the promotional offer but the code she types in said the offer was expired. There was no expiration date indicated on the Unilocal promotion. I told the cashier I did not think it was fair, so she used the 20% coupon for me on the boots, which gave me a better discount anyway. Great business decision on the cashier’s part. I usually loathe going to the mall and shopping at the big box stores, but in this case Sports Authority took care of me and I’ll definitely go back.
