Bud’s Submarine

Super friendly service when you come in to this place the ladies are so sweet and welcoming. I came here for the first time and came back the next day again the sandwich was a tuna with cashews instead of the chicken and it was super yummy and filling. The day before I had a teriyaki bowel mixed. I might stick to the chicken as for my taste it was a bit too salty I’m not use to red meat. Over all — best customer service I’ve had in forever !! A+++++ prices are decent.

The vegetarian sandwich and chicken tortilla soup combo, every time. The Korean ladies there are super nice and they’ve pretty much memorised my order.

The Manhattan is pretty awesome. The ladies that work there are super friendly. Usually a lunch time rush during the weekdays.

I enjoyed a yummy, very fresh chicken cashew sandwich on squaw. It was loaded with veggies like sprouts, lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. I highly recommend Bud’s Deli for simple and yet awesome tasting sandwiches!

Super friendly people and the building looks deceptively small but the interior is huge.
Tuna sandwich was on point. Like it a lot.
Chicken and rice soup was meh though. It was very low effort.
Come for the sandwich and youre good.

I love their Tuna sandwich… lots of tuna and always tastes fresh. Lots of seating too. Lunch time it gets pretty hectic, but I always call in my order.
I would definitely recommend.

I have been going to the place across the street but this place is awesome cheaper and they sell beer and wine! Nice clean too

Great healthy fresh sandwiches! This place is really close to where I work so I stop be here frequently. I always get the turkey avocado with sprouts on squaw bread and it’s always fresh and super delicious. Great service too as the people that work here are so friendly! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

What was I thinking? I went to a sandwich place and I asked for the chicken rice teriyaki.
Don’t make my mistake and ask for a sandwich. All my friends were happy except me.
I will try again, this time I’ll ask for a sub.

This is a very spacious, comfortable, and clean sandwich shop with wonderful staff. All the ladies who work here are very kind and friendly to their customers. I got a vegetarian sandwich which was super fresh and tasty and a chicken tortilla soup, which is really popular. There is a TV you can watch if you are bored and two restrooms near the entrance, so you can wash your hands before you eat ;-). I highly recommend coming here.

I love the staff and their soups! Oh sweet lordy their soups are delicious. Their chicken tortilla, chicken noodle, and veggie soups are my top 3 and all taste great.
They use a special type of wonton or something instead of regular old tortillas and always put fresh cilantro. The staff is always smiling and will remember you after your 2^nd time. They have great combos too, I always get a combo 3 which is soup sandwich chips and a drink :)
Also, they cut their salads and make their soups fresh to order and there’s plenty of seating and a tv always playing something interesting.
Best lunch spot for a quick bite !

This place is really quite nice. The sandwiches are made fresh and filled to the brim with meat, cheese and veggies. There’s a lot of selection too! And if you don’t want a sandwich, they can make you a salad. They even do big catering too! Very friendly staff too :)

More like 3 ½ stars. I ordered the Trilogy (turkey bacon avocado) made it a combo II (Chips and a small fountain drink) $ 9.42 charged $ 1.00 extra for a piece or Swiss cheese and $.50 in addition to the combo because my sandwich wasn’t between 1 – 15 choices
When I received my sandwich there was ham in it no where in the menus did it say turkey ham avocado turkey I don’t really like ham but didn’t want to make a fuss the sandwich was still good
Not a very big lunch crowd only two construction works and my self at 12:30pm probably because everyone else is around the corner at sandwich box where I will continue to go for now on just wanted to try this spot see what it’s about.

Great little lunch spot. right when I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude. I asked her for recommendations and she suggested the pastrami sandwich. the sandwich was delicious and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 out of 5 is because I wish the sandwich had more meat and less lettuce. but other than that everything here was awesome. will definitely be coming back

Everything here is good here because it’s made fresh. From their turkey, avocado, and cheese sandwiches to their chef salads, which are a good size, plus bottomless soda.
The staff is always super nice (and beats going to cookie cutter subway who always put a certain amount of dull-​looking deli meat or orange BBQ meat variety on each sandwich and say without fail to «go online to complete a survey for a free cookie» and ruins any resulting good mood built up from finally coming to an end of everything at the cash register :/​)
Plus they always have a selection of soups. Although they make good teriyaki bowls, I still like the place on alondra and Carmenita better for teriyaki chicken bowls.

Great Sandwiches, Friendly staff! Try the soup of the day, they are all good.

A must stop Deli for a fast and fresh lunch. The ladies now know me by name and remember exactly what I like in my sandwich. You order and pay and then almost instantly your sandwich is done. The soups and salads are also very good as well.

This is a great place to stop by for lunch. They have delicious sandwiches that are very fresh. The workers are very friendly and are always welcoming. You can also have a beer for a very reasonable price. If you’re looking for a fresh and tasty lunch at a great price be sure to check out Bud’s!

Little hole in the wall sandwich shop, run by a nice Vietnamese family. Only a a few of them speak English but they make great sandwiches. I used to use these guys when I would bring lunch to customers.

After a long heated «what should we have for lunch?» debate between three and a half hungry friends, one of which is a Bud’s Submarine fanatic, we agreed to follow our friend Michael’s taste buds.
Bud’s Submarine is located on a steady industrial street in Norwalk and a place you might overlook. It’s clean, filled with 1980’s bud inspired poster girls, topped off with old dinning hall chairs, tables and nature paintings. To make things even more uncoordinated, there is a huge t.v. providing one with financial information (maybe they don’t think sports and sandwich’s should mix). There really isn’t a theme, but a place like this doesn’t need one… the sandwich’s are tasty! You could only have Subway so many times before longing for an authentic sandwich like Bud’s Submarine.
I had the hot chicken sub, threw in some cheese because a sandwich is not a sandwich without cheese and walla! I had the perfect sandwich.
The ambiance included just our group and remained that way until we left. I haven’t been in a quite eatery in a long time, so it was strange but just fine.
With all that said, you can choose between a variety of sandwiches, salads and a chip.
This place is A-​OK! (Hence, the three stars)
