One of the best chocolate croissants I’ve ever had. I went in around 7:15am for a to-go coffee before work and couldn’t resist the still warm from the oven pastry. It was filled with lots of yummy chocolate and my iced latte was delicious too. It wasn’t very sweet, which was a nice change from an iced latte from somewhere like Starbucks that is usually loaded with sugary syrup. I’ll definitely go back, especially for fresh, warm chocolate croissants.

Best pour over coffee and vegetable croissants in Fairfield County! Family friendly and very clean. Nice place to kickback on your day off!

Love love love. The coffee is amazing. So fresh and balanced. They select their own blend and grind the beans daily, and it’s very obvious from the distinct and even flavor. As for the pastries, they are all authentic European inspired fares. Hungarian in origin, these guys truly deliver on quality and flavor. I’ve been to Hungary and my Hungarian wife can attest to its authenticity. They just nailed it. From multi layered cake, to tiramisu, this assortment is intriguing and familiar. But most importantly, delicious. They also offer breakfast and lunch options, although they are a bit shy broadcasting it for some reason. Their pastas are simple and somewhat benign, but bursting with flavor and freshness as each one is carefully prepared al dente. I’ve had much of what they offer — I’ve been frequenting for months now. They are new, but seemed to shake off the growing pains very quickly. Highly reco’d.

This is such a cute little place! Lauren who works in the front is great! I also really love the coffee and the hand made pastries! The prices are awesome as well! I believe my cup of coffee(which was really big) was around 1.50! I will definitely be back! If you are in the area give it a try.

I don’t write a ton of reviews, but after an argument with a co-worker about how it was impossible to find a good cup of coffee in Norwalk, I found Café Dolce. 10 minutes later, I had a cup of their coffee, and the co-worker had a cappuccino. Needless to say, both were excellent, hence the five stars. Also, the service was phenomenal, two people who love coffee and pastries were ready to share both with the customer. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll be sending my friends.

The best coffee shop in Norwalk by far! Plus they have almond milk for those looking for a healthy non-dairy option. Employees /Baristas are very friendly and get to know you by name very quickly. Pastries and cakes great for a quick snack or a gift to some friends. Forget Starbucks and DD, Café Dolce is the only place you should get your coffee.

Fantastic coffee, treats, and service. The cakes & pastries are phenomenal, and the ambiance is cozy enough to be comfortable, but roomy enough to get some work done. Highly recommended. If I could ask for something, it’d be a reading nook. But hey, they’re new. I’ve got a good feeling about the future of Café Dolce.

My husband and I live locally and are regulars here simply because they make fantastic lattes and because they have almond milk. We don’t drink cows milk and it can sometimes be a challenge to find almond milk at coffee shops… until now! Also, the customer service is always fantastic, lovely, super-friendly people, and the café is always very clean and tidy with a nice ambiance. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and pastry. On New Years Day we decided that we should go out for a little treat. There is not that many places around so I tried Unilocal and this place came up with quite a few good reviews. We gave it a ry and we did not regret it. The coffee was excellent and pastries amazing. The place is still trying to figure out what they want to be when they grow up so things may change, but at the moment you will find here besides coffee and pastries some breakfast and lunch items. We are yet to try them. Let me also tell you that the service is excellent. They are still trying to organize themselves and yet we were served attentively and quickly.

Repeat customers — been here probably 6 or 7 times by now. Love everything about this place! The people are really nice, and the café has a nice, casual vibe. The coffee is excellent, and the food — at least what we’ve tried so far — is awesome! We’ve had the tiramisu, hazelnut cake, chocolate mousse cake, croissants, and farmer’s cheese Danish. We also tried one other thing I can’t remember the name of — it was a Hungarian treat with linzer pastry and apricot. I only had one disappointment… the coconut lime cupcake I had was very dry. The flavor was good and the icing was outstanding, but I think keeping it refrigerated dried out the cake. We haven’t tried the«real food» yet, but very excited that the menu is expanding to more lunch/dinner items. I’d say the one downfall is that there really isn’t any comfy seating — would love to see some plush chairs or a couple of sofas along the wall to add to the coziness. Hoping this place sticks around — so nice to have an alternative to the big chains!

Just had a visit to my hairdresser next door and they highly recommended I check this place out. So glad I did! Beautifully decorated café with fresh, homemade croissants, cakes and cookies. I normally don’t drink coffee but I am now completely hooked on theirs. Got a decaf cappuccino w almond milk(what’s the point right?), and it was seriously the best coffee I’ve ever had. They also have crepes and salads and the prices are excellent. I got the ham, Gouda and mushroom crêpe and it was deeeelish! Also noticed some gluten free cookies for the gluten free folks(which I am normally, but the crêpe was worth the cheat;).

Great addition to the area, located in the strip mall across from Mcdonald’s. Nice café ambience and attentive service. Excellent coffee, large selection of pastries. Also have a limited lunch menu with panini’s, savory crepes, and 3 – 4 different salads.

I do not live anywhere near this part of CT. I had to come down here for a doctors appointment, for my dog. Our first time out here we stopped at Café Dolce for a quick bite to eat. What a lucky find! We got a fresh ham and cheese croissant. It was AmaZing. I had to come back out this way for my dogs appointment and I searched for this place. I was craving another one of those home made croissants. After 20 minutes of driving around a location I am not familiar with, I found Café Dolce! I was not disappointed. I got a croissant and a coffee. Sat down to get some work done while I waited for my dog to get out of a surgery. They refilled my coffee and took great care of me. I found out they are new and they are killing it! If you live around here, I highly recommend it. Check them out!

Hands down the best coffee I’ve had in all of CT. Pastries are just awesome. I felt like I was in a café in Europe. You have to try this place. You will leave with a smile on your face for sure.

Not your typical Italian joint full or pastries pulled out of the freezer. Lots of really unique homemade options from all over Europe, in particular, Hungary. Warm and welcoming environment. A definite must, even if you have to drive a bit to get here.

On our drive north for Thanksgiving we took a pit stop at this exit for a late lunch/early dinner. We didn’t want fast food and saw this little café across from a McDonald’s and decided to give it a shot. The space itself was very warm. It seemed very out of place in its little strip mall. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered two paninis(one cheddar, salami, spinach and prosciutto, the other was fresh mozzarella, mushrooms and peppers). Both were $ 5.99. Both were huge, delicious, and well made(they didn’t just heap toppings on, they were carefully placing all of the ingredients so they were spread evenly). This wasn’t on the menu but they both came with a salad of greens with a vinaigrette. It was a lot of food for $ 12. The owner also threw in a couple pastries for free which were also quite tasty(we ate the chocolate croissant for dessert, we still have a fruit pastry which we’ve tasted but decided to save for later). Their display case was full of other delicious looking treats. If I were making this drive again I’d definitely be up for a second visit. It was about a minute from the exit ramp.
