this is upper echelon status. top shelf… No complaints here on anything.

Chicken was okay. Came in for AYCE. I wanted to choose option B but since i was by myself they only let me choose option A.

This place isn’t the best but not too bad. I had the garlic cream spaghetti and my mom had the kimchi soup & seafood pancake. Both were okay but not mind-blowingly good. Next time, I would probably stick to the chicken, appetizers & drinks. I had a green apple Italian soda and it was good.

Been coming here when it used to be Dream, now it’s called Dr Chicken. This place more tables and the lighting is too bright for me and service was very very slow but hey had to give it a chance for new owners. Food was okay but service kinda suck, maybe cuz we went there on a Friday night. I like how Dream set up was before(larger tables and dim lights) and their service was decent back then. Maybe I might give it another chance… maybe.

Ive been coming here for a while. Honestly, I like it better after the new management. The food comes out faster and is more delicious. Even though it was so busy tonight, server named hyun woo(?) took care of all our tables. Never seen such an amazing server. Food quality was dissent. No doubt this place is the best fried chicken restaurant!

Thursdays can now get crowded! — but im still here. (Theres additional parking in the back… so dont worry if you cant find any close by) Perfect spot just to hang out and watch sports tv & listening to kpop music in the background. Glad to see NON-Asians enjoying this spot as well! ^^ *** Hope they can start serving PBR(Pabst) beer tho ***

Most important info, AYCE ends at 9PM. Chicken was mostly hit and some miss. Rcommend dr. fried, buffalo, and garlic soy sauce miss was original whole fried, popcorn chicken fries were good and tsunami spicy is stirred fried chiken This place is legit simply because your options for sides is more chicken parking is tricky and service can be slow though Price is very reasonable since quality is good

My girlfriend has been raving about this place and I finally got to try it out. We ordered the popcorn chicken. The chicken is juicy and tender and the portion of the dish is to the larger side. The chicken has the perfect layer of outer crispiness. My friend asked for this garlic sauce on the side and a side of mayo+tabasco sauce. Tastes very good together so I recommend you to ask them for that when you order the popcorn chicken! They lack in the service but the food makes up for it.

Great place for chimak(chicken and beer)! And it is all-you-can-eat until 9PM. We got the $ 12.99 choice, and it was a splendid banquet. My favorites: whole deep fried chicken, tsunami spicy chicken, korean spicy fried chicken, sweet chili grilled chicken, and corn cheese! Fried chicken was well-flavored, lightly crispy, and yet not too greasy. It’s Korean fried chicken, so don’t expect American-style fried chicken.(Both very yummy but distinctly different.) Tsuanami spicy was a chicken and veggie stir-fried dish that was not actually very spicy but definitely quite tasty! And the corn cheese… man, we can’t get enough of it. Alcohol selection was pretty decent. Awesome fruity soju, especially the strawberry soju! They also offer draft beer in large serving containers that could hold over 2 liters. And the waiters are super nice, immediately taking your order when you wave them over, unlike some AYCE places were I suspect waiters try to ignore you after numerous consecutive orders. We will come back for more chimak! ;)

Great Korean bar-restaurant that specializes in chicken and beer. Fried, garlic, honey sesame, spicy, whole deep fried(tong-dak) this is a must try here, simple but VERY good. Comes with moo(pickled radishes) and cabbage salad, ask for jalapenos. A handful of decent beers on tap + all the Korean beers + soju and makali –this is a traditional old school, milky yet smooth alcoholic beverage. Must try list: 1) Tong-dak(deep fried whole chicken) 2) Spicy octopus noodle(nakchi bokum) 3) Seafood pancake(haemul pajun) 4) Mussel soup(goes well with soju) 5) Volcano chicken(super spicy) 6) Pork cutlet 7) Kimchi and tofu w/spam and pork belly Their food and atmosphere is fantastic but the best thing here is the service. Great service and if the lead manager is in you’re in luck because she is the best!

It’s 8pm on a Friday night, you’re looking for something to eat and come across an all you can eat chicken place until 9pm, you head there and arrive at 8:25 leaving only 35mins to chow down… what do you do? You go crazy on that chicken! That’s what you do or at least that’s what I did haha. Not bad for $ 9.99. From the flavors offered there were some I thought was pretty good and others I thought were just ok. Three highlights were the garlic soy, sweet chili and the tsunami spicy chicken with the garlic soy being the best. Of all, the grilled chicken was my least favorite. Go figure I’d say the healthier choice was my least favorite LOL jk but they were less flavorful than the fried. However if I were to choose which flavor was the best of the grilled then it would be the lemon pepper. I placed a lot of orders and devoured a lot of chicken within half an hour. Not to mention seconds on flavors I liked. Not bad at all for the price. I also like that each batch is cooked fresh. They arrive piping hot and it’s noticeable in the taste. There’s also a $ 12.99 option that comes with multiple sides. I’ll be back when I’m up to go «chicken crazy» again. Dinner 1÷29÷2016

So… this location changes owners/store name and menu a lot. It is different from last year, and 2 years before that. 3 stars: for the food. It’s okay. I had chicken gizzard and bulgogi w/rice. I had better tasting food at other bars. 5 stars: our server was nice. And… The lady there was so awesome! I would go back because she made my friend and I feel comfortable being there. 4 stars: for drinks… I had the mango cocktail soju. I had better cocktail soju in Fullerton. I give this a ¾ stars… so I will round up to 4.

I had very high hopes for this place since it was AYCE Korean fried chicken for only 9.99! One plate of chicken at these restaurants usually cost more than 9.99 so I thought this would be a great deal to opt for AYCE. When we walked into the restaurant around lunch, it was completely empty. I should have already known this was a bad sign. Our first order was Dr. Chicken which is simply plain fried chicken paired with hot sauce on the side. The chicken definitely could have been seasoned better. Without the hot sauce, you would basically be eating bland chicken. My favorite of the fried chicken options was the garlic soy sauce. The flavor was more sweet than garlicky or salty which is pretty misleading. As we ordered more fried chicken, the batter to chicken ratio seemed to get bigger and bigger. There were some pieces of chicken that were bone with a sliver of meat and then a thick coating of batter over it. We also tried some of their grilled chicken choices such as the lemon pepper but all of them were pretty dry. They also have a 12.99AYCE option that allows for additional choices of spicy rice cake, French fries and cheese corn. We didn’t opt for this since I read from other Unilocal reviews that the rice cake was disappointing. I walked in here very hungry but left unsatisfied, not completely full and uncomfortable. I think they put msg in their chicken batter since my whole family felt the effects of it as we walked out the door.

Came here with the bf but we opted for the non AYCE because we weren’t super hungry and whenever we go to a Korean fried chicken place, we’re full after splitting about half a chicken(this way we wouldn’t have to stuff ourselves stupid and could take our leftovers home :)). They didnt do half chickens here so we got the Dr. Fried chicken($ 15, ~12 pieces) and kimchi fried rice($ 10). I tried to ask the server what the difference was between the Dr. Fried and the original whole fried chicken was but I don’t think she spoke much English and there was an obvious language barrier. Whatever. We got the Dr. Fried anyways. The chicken was okay– it was crunchy like how kfc should be but there was nothing special about the batter. Chicken was juicy but there wasn’t really flavor there. Thank god it came with dipping sauce or I probably wouldn’t have eaten very much of it. I really liked the kimchi fried rice though! There was a hint of spice and it had a little kick to it. Oh, our water was also pretty lemony… It was like I was drinking lemonade minus the sugar. Ambience was nice! Me and the bf sat in one of the booths and I thought it was super cute and cozy feeling. It was pretty empty when we went, there was only one other table of two seated. Service was good aside from the language barrier with our server. May or may not come back to try the ayce option

First place that I know that has ayce fried/grilled chicken. I liked the crispness of the fried chicken, however, it was hard to taste the different flavor a of each one. All the fried chicken tasted like the Dr. Friend. The corn cheese was probably the best thing on the menu. The chicken feet wasn’t that great. I would prefer the«dim sum» preparation of chicken feet. I got full pretty fast because of all the breading from the fried chicken and the additives to the sides(carrot, onion, cabbage). Overall, all dishes were pretty good. This place is a spot I would only go to once a month or once every few months. It is pretty pricey if you don’t make it to the ayce. The food takes a while to come out, so if you’re starving this is probably not the place for you. Also, I always had to press the service button for the waitress to come to us.

Too bad we didn’t make it before 9pm. We had our hearts set on chicken wings and heard about this AYCE place for 12 bucks. SO sad that it ends at 9. We went anyways and it was SO good We ordered the 24 piece of chicken wings(split between 4 people) and got two different flavors — soy garlic and sweet chili. Both were DELISH and the chicken wings were huge. Crispy and super flavorful! We also ordered the kimchi fried rice and the tteokbokki BEWARE — SOSPICY. It was almost TOO spicy for me. REALLY tasty and i couldnt stop eating it regardless. The rice cake dish was really spicy too but really good. HUGE portions. I have yet to actually see what they serve during AYCE but better believe we’ll be back! Its a really chill spot to grab a beer and watch the game Service was really good too. The server was really nice and attentive!

Chi-maek), a play on words between chicken and beer. It would be equivalent to calling it chibee in English. Chibee… that sounds rather cute huh? Not at all manly sounding. But My oh my oh MY!!! My tummy has been craving Korean chicken with the intensity of a thousand suns as of late! Chi-maek is a pretty big deal in Korea and you’ll soon see why when you give it a shot. It got some publicity in the Korean drama, «My Love from the Star.» A drama I can only describe as the Korean version of the Twilight series… except it’s with an alien. A sexy, super cool, and non-overly obsessive alien. I believe this drama may have caused some trouble regarding relationship expectations concerning chicken and beer in China. How funny is that? Anyways, I’m not much of a drinker and I hate beer even more so… but Korean chicken and beer just works incredibly well. Dr Chicken actually offers AYCE chicken! SAYWHAAAAAT!!! Yeah!!! They totally offer AYCE fried chicken from the hours of 11am to 9pm. Unfortunately for me and my buddy, we pretty much straggled in at 9, missing our opportunity to jump in on that incredibly tempting offer. But nothing would have stopped me from getting my hands on dat fried chicken and beer. Yum!!! My friend got a half order each of the korean spicy chicken and the garlic soy chicken, corn cheese, strawberry soju, and a pitcher of beer… I believe it was called shock top. I believe most Korean chicken places should typically defined by how well they do the standard(yang nyum) chicken, which they opted call Korean spicy chicken. The overall flavor profile was pretty good. Super flavorful and wonderfully juicy, crunchy, and greasy. Everything you can ask for when drinking beer. The batter they use d for their chicken is fair and fried well. Not the best but certainly not the worst. The only problem I had was the level of spiciness. It could have been much much spicier. I didn’t find it spicy at all :(. The garlic soy chicken was good as well. Both the soy sauce and garlic flavors are represented well without overpowering each other. Not too salty and equally juicy, crunchy, and greasy as the Korean spicy chicken. CORNCHEESE! I really love corn cheese. I was actually pleased with what they had to offer. The presentation and taste left me with quite the impression. It was above par compared to some other restaurants I’ve tried it at. Super creamy, cheesy, and corny. Quite the triple threat huh? Perfect with a cold cup of beer. Strawberry soju… this was no strawberry soju! It was more like a strawberry soju slush that utilized real strawberries. I was actually pretty dang impressed… and this is coming from someone who hates soju! Super chilled and refreshing! The strawberry flavor is strong with this one and it masked the soju flavor incredibly well. I would actually order this again or make it at home. The beer… it’s just beer. Hehehehehhehe nothing more to say about this one. I don’t know about you guys but I felt like beer helps me to eat more. does anyone else feel the same way? Holla at me if it does. Overall, I’d have to give this place a 3.8. Not the best but it did a mighty fine job of getting the job done. The service was timely and the ambiance was quite nice. I’ll give this place the«treat yo self» stamp of approval. Sooooo go ahead and TREATYOSELF!!!

This Place Really Just Sucks… This place is Seriously Horrible, this is not an All you Can Eat Restaurant. We thought. Oh Wow $ 9.99/$ 12.99 for All you can eat Chicken!!! No, we were fooled. When we got there, we didn’t even get served with Water or Drinks. We barely got one plate with four pieces of chicken. It took them more than an hour for us to give us the food. The cooks are horrible, unable to feed us quickly. Too many people and barely can feed their customers in piece. The waitresses are nice but they’re unable to deliver us the food. Won’t be coming back. We just left after waiting for over an hour.
