I moved to Hanover 3 years ago and after my house was ready for window treatments I went to Interior details. First if you are doing your whole house windows the owners show a lot of interest, they spend time with you and come to the house to take all measurements, but once the job is done, good luck to you if you want them back for repairs, damage or other issues, I have one window drapery falling off every time you try to close the drapery and it’s been 3 years and I’m still waiting for them to come and repair. Also 6 months ago I finished my basement and I went to see the owners wife and she gave me some samples, a day later I went back to the shop u met one of the employees, gave her the pattern, color and asked her to place the order and it is still not done. I went to see the owner couple of months later and she goes, «I called you and left a message with the quote», I said to her I never received your quote and then she goes it’s strange. I asked her why would you call me for a quote when I asked you to place the order three months ago and she didn’t have any reply. When it comes to repairs or any others issues it will be months before you see them. If it’s a big order like the first one I gave which was around $ 15K, they will come right away and now I’m waiting to do 3 windows, I have not heard from them in months. She lied to me that she called me with the quote because she didn’t show it to me when I I went to the store, so I simply walked away.
You are better off by going to Home Depot or Lowes because you will get the same quality, cheaper and you can also return the product. I was also not happy with the job because I selected darker fabric to block the sunlight but every single drapery has so much light coming from the sides because he did not get the exact measurements. Not happy with the owners, not their job, and their false promises.
