Awesome service! I was driving through the area broke down. I got my car towed there and they had me back and running in a few hours. Super nice people too!

They have never done any work that wasn’t absolutely necessary and always charged s reasonable rate. As a woman who has been taken advantage of by too many car repair places I can tell you that I trust Jeff and Mike completely.

They charged me $ 65 to do a quick test to determine that my starter was bad, I knew that my starter was bad. They claimed to do several tests that took «45min» including an alternator test which my male friend who is a mechanic called them on because you can’t do an alternator test if you can start the car. My friend asked if they had gotten the car started, they said no, so he asked how they did you test the alternator when they didn’t start the car and the guy Mike said «uhhh we can do that». Which is a lie!
They quoted me $ 525 to replace the car starter, supposedly the starter was $ 241 and the rest was labor and whatever else they could think up. I told the guy that I saw starters online for $ 130, he said they would have to charge me more because that’s how they make their money. So I asked him how much the labor would be if I bought the part and he said it would be $ 368 for a total of $ 498 (including the part). I no longer wanted to get my car fixed at Pro tire so my mechanic friend and I called around, Norwich tire would do it for $ 361 and then Spike’s garage (in Gilbertsville) said that he would do it for $ 210. It turned out being cheaper for me to pay for towing my car twice and get it done at Spike’s than it would have cost at Pro tire. There is no possible way they weren’t trying to hose me especially since they all probably get their parts from the same place and we checked how long it takes to change a starter and it’s 2 hrs so unless they charge $ 120/​hr they were trying to gauge me.
I feel like they took me for a ride because I’m a woman.
I will never go there again ever!
