Chicken + lamb over rice with white sauce and salad. So tasty, cooked fresh for you, great price. Good people working the store too. Yum.

I had such high hopes for this place. I ordered the Punjabi chicken with rice it was literally inedible. I through the whole thing out after a few fork fulls.:(

Holy bananas. I just ordered a lamb gyro with white sauce and BBQ sauce and it was absolutely phenomenal. My friend has a punjabi chicken sandwich which was pretty spot on as well. Their food is usually nothing short of good. That’s probably why a lot of people order from ten during different time of days. They definitely got more staff since their food got more delicious. The only thing that really sets this ace back is usually the wait times and possible forgetfulness of food. Possible huge setbacks, depending on the day. But this is definitely the most happening takeout spot in the area by far.

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years and remember this store when it was just a corner store. They’ve done renovations and now offer full deli and grill service 24 hours and late night delivery. I walked in about a week ago and the cashier handed me their menu and said call us anytime if we can’t deliver we’ll let you know. So I decided to try it out last night. I called at 2:55am and they were still delivering. It literally took them 10 minutes(I checked the time on my phone) to take my order which was a fafafel gyro, chicken parm on a hero, a large order of fries, a 20oz sprite, a green juice, and a bag of peanut m&m’s. 10MINUTES for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks, fries, and m&m’s!!! I should’ve seen that as warning. I asked what the total cost would be and I was told someone would call me back in 5 minutes. Someone finally calls back at 3:26am and tells me the total and says I’ll have my order in 20 mins. Almost an hour later at 4:24am I call to find out where the food was. I’m quickly cut off and told its on its way it should be there in 3 minutes and that they were sorry for the delay. Fine I was able to understand that. I was then told to comment on Facebook and instagram but not to put that I had to wait an hour for my food. I said of course I’m going to put that, it’s part of my experience. The guy then spits off to me – Well we are delivering at a late night hour and after you called we had order after order come in and we turned down another delivery for you and we’re short staffed so our chef is coming out to deliver to you… Really trying to guilt me because you can’t live up to the services that you advertised?! Whatever! I hang up and our food arrives shortly. The nice chef was EXTREMELY apologetic and promised our food was made with lots of love and would taste delicious. He admitted that the wait was unacceptable and even though I was really nice and offered a $ 4 tip he said he couldn’t take it. Instead he took $ 2. So fine ready to eat right. WRONG. They forgot the fries in an order they that kept repeating over and over for 10 minutes. So I called back and let the clerk know they forgot the fries. He says right he forgot to write it down(REALLY?!) and that he owes me $ 4, but I wanted the fries! This same guys says well the place is a mess and they are supposed to re-open in an hour and his boss is going to come soon, and they have to clean, and it was soooo busy after my order, etc etc, excuse, excuse. So I say fine I will take the $ 4 will the delivery guy be back on his way? He says no, can’t we just owe you $ 4 I’ll write down your address and the next time you order I’ll take $ 4 off your order. I quickly told him I won’t be ordering from them again. He says fine then the next time you come down to the store let me know who you are and I’ll owe you $ 4!!! WTF!!! I can’t deal so I hung up. 4 minutes later at 4:40am I get a call back from the same guy saying ok we’re going to deliver your fries. Thank you I say. His response– your welcome although I think we shouldn’t. I said«what?» Yeah I don’t think we should deliver your fries because now we won’t have enough time to clean up and I’ll get in trouble with my boss. So I say that’s really not my responsibility I paid you – he said I should receive my fries in 5 – 6 minutes. I’m just done at that point so I hung up. From the time I called him 2:55am I never raised my voice never cursed never yelled, and thats the response I get!!! HOWAWFUL! Finally the chef comes back with my fries and I tell him the exchange I had with the clerk over the phone. He is extremely apologetic once again and said he was the one who told the clerk he would re-deliver because what they did wasn’t right. He said next time he owes me. I am a bartender/server at a restaurant so I know exactly what it’s like to be in the food service industry which is why I had so much patience. But I would NEVER ever try to make a customer feel guilty because I couldn’t provide proper service. Things always happen – I get that but if you can’t fully provide the services that you are advertising to the best of your ability don’t try to guilt your customers or make it seem like you’re doing them a favor! If it wasn’t for the nice chef I’d give this place one star and I’d never go there again. Worst part is that the food was actually good – still I will never order from there again! It’s never just about the food its about the experience. No matter how good the food it people will ALWAYS hear about the customer service and unfortunately bad news travels fast and more people will tell about a bad dining experience versus a good one. I really had high hopes for this place. They are obviously trying to cater to the late night munchie crowd… but no I won’t spend another one of my hard earned dollars there.
