I had a hankering for pasta and Bertucci’s happens to be nearby. I haven’t been there in years so I was excited when we happened to drive by there yesterday afternoon. I would love to say the service and food were great, but we didn’t get any. We walked in and weren’t greeted. There was a girl with a blank stare and my boyfriend asked her if we requested a table from her, she said yes. Didn’t ask for a name, give us a wait time, walk us to a table, etc. A woman came in after us and asked if we had already put our names in — considering the blank faced girl had barely spoken to us, my boyfriend said«I’m not quite sure.» Blank faced girl responded with, «he went to check on your table.» We had no idea who«he» was but okay, maybe you could’ve informed us. We sat down and waited, and waited. We were in our booth for about 15 minutes with several waitresses walking by and not acknowledging our presence. I should’ve said something but I’m at a restaurant, I shouldn’t have to ask for a server. A simple«someone will be right with you» would’ve made me stay, but we got nothing. It was busy but there was a LOT of staff lurking about. We got up and left after sitting there for 20 minutes unnoticed. We went to Emmet’s which is in the Hampton Inn in Norwood, it was delicious and our waitress was awesome!

This IS one of the BEST Bertucci’s restaurants I’ve ever been to. And one of my favorite restaurants in general. Lately, I’ve been ordering online and picking up in store, with their $ 10 off coupon offer, which is great, and I’ve never had an issue. They always remember everything, and pack everything separately, and NEVER forgot the incredible rolls that come with the meals. The waitress’ here as well as the Take-Out people are always SO friendly, efficient and attentive. Restaurant is always impeccable and waitress’ and waiters are always friendly. Never a wait either! Great service. Consistently. Something I cannot say for some other restaurants, including other Bertucci’s locations… 5 stars.

Solid choice for late dinner after the office. I believe this is my second time at this location. Greeted fairly quickly and not busy on a Thurs night. Waitress Rose Marie was an utter pleasure — very attentive and always smiling. Made a very pleasant dinner experience. Ordered the Cod Picatta and requested pasta be substituted with steamed broccoli. Perfect light and moist Cod. Devoured easily. Happy ending dessert was their new Flourless Chocolate Cake(GF) — wow tasted decadent! Wonderful cocoa flavor. Overall: solid dinner choice. Definitely will return.

Service: Rainy Sunday afternoon, pretty empty, but smelled delicious when walking in! Seated right away, and although we had a bit of a wait before our server came by, she made up for it with some stellar service and free ice cream for the daughter. Her name was Barbara, and if you get seated in her section, you’re going to be taken care of. Food: Ultimate Bertucci Pizza was perfect. Just the right amount of cheese, crisp smokey oven flavor, meat, and crust. Wife ate a calzone and was in love(almost as much as she loves me… hopefully). All in all, great spot to grab some quality pizza and relax in an easy going environment.

In a busy Saturday night we were immediately seated and attended to. Even though the place is super busy we felt like we got the attention we deserved as customers! Rolls were delicious as always!

Nothing spectacular here. Run of the mill Bertucci’s. Service was fine the last time I went, I like the smaller lounge like seating area near the bar, much more quiet then the main dining room. You get what you expect going here, no wow factor, just decent food.

I usually order take out from this location. Past few times the service has been quick and food good. Food seems a little pricey for what you get but seems in the range for foods with similar quality ingredients.

HORRIBLESERVICE! NEVERAGAIN!!! I’ve never comment on Unilocal but I could not stand this restaurant at all!!! We were out for a family dinner on Monday night at 8:30 p.m. The server was the worst person I’ve even met. The waiter and manager refused to serve a beer because we have an out of state ID. The sever was EXTREMELY rude to our kids, completely ignored them when the try order their food, make jokes with him and ask for butter. Did not give us our bread like every other table in the restaurant and we had to ask for it. The manger were eating a full plate and were drinking on the line. Terrible service and management.

An italian chain… it was excellent. Service was spectacular, food was excellent, and the atmosphere although standard was excellent. I have eaten at Bertucci’s, over the past 25 years at many locations. This was one of the best hands down.

good service, good food, price a little high. overall when im going to mid-range italian food chain(which is rare but it happens a few times a year), I prefer Unos. Bertuccis menu is pretty small… but this place had a renovation and its nice

When we arrived at 11:09 am this morning the table was dirty had to move to another table. Did they clean from the night before? I don’t think I’ll be coming here again! They didn’t even clean the table after we told the waitress the table was dirty and had to be moved!

Bertucci’s was a nice surprise. Although it’s a local chain it has really high quality food. I ordered the Chicken Domani… it was somewhat bland, but after a little bit of pepper and asiago cheese the plate transformed. Our waiter was extremely nice & quick. He had no problem with any substitutions our group had(and we had some crazy ones). Overall it was great service and good food. I’ll be going back again.

Was in the area, so we had lunch and few drinks. Every body was great. Could not asked for a nicer waiter. The chowder with shrimps and corn was a bet too sweet for my taste. Pizza was not what I was expecting but the crust was very good. The bread was so great. But my guess and I both were sick during the night with the same sickness. We did share the same food. So I don’t know if it just did not agree with us.

Their rolls are delicious and warm. Their pizza is fantastic, but my favorites are frutti de mare and the shrimp pasta dish with a glass of red wine. Their desserts are great, too.

Honestly, the % of times they screw up my take out order is unacceptable by even the loosest of service standards, but the pizza is great — once you get it. I still keep going, and keep finding other people who share a similar story to mine. 4 or 5 stars if the take-out competency was even average.

DONOTGOINTOEATAFTER9:30PM! Walking in at about 9:35pm and knowing that the restaurant has a 10PM closing time on Tuesday, we specifically asked the Manager if it was OK to order food as we know restaurants start cleaning up a bit early on slow nights. He assured us that we could either have a seat or order take out… our choice… and that they take orders up until 10PM and then we could stay to finish eating even after the 10PM closing time. So with that, we chose to be seated. The friendly waiter promptly took our food(2 small pizza’s) and drink(waters) orders. He delivered the waters and a basket of bread. As soon as that happened we heard and saw(due to the open view of the pizza prep and bake area) a guy slamming pizza trays around. We then realized he was the pizza cook and he was beginning to prepare our food order. He then continued to complain out loud that he wished they would’ve told him there was a food order coming, he’s already finished cleaning, and other various comments that we couldn’t fully hear. So with that demonstration of how he was going to approach making our pizzas for us, we chose to leave. The Manager saw us leaving and came to ask what was wrong, we explained what we heard and saw the pizza cook doing as he was beggining to prepare our pizza. The cook could hear what we were telling the manager and he just stood there, obviously unaware that we had heard and saw everything that he was doing. The Manager, in an effort to try to make good, offered to have the same cook make our pizza’s ‘to go’. We politely declined… at that point we certainly didn’t want that cook preparing ANY food for us! So you are cautioned… even if you ask the manager if they are still making food… look carefully into the kitchen. If they have started clean-up…you best go to another restaurant. We have eaten at this Bertucci’s on several occasions in the past… but no more. From their web site… with my additional comment: «To us, our guests are like family, and we treat each one just the way we’d like to be treated — with open arms, warm smiles, and delicious food… unless you place an order after 9:30pm.»

Really cute for a Bertucci’s. Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. Yes, I’m biased and I love Bertucci’s. I’m salivating right now just thinking about the hot rolls dipped in olive oil. But at lunch the rolls come with unlimited salad, and they make perfect mini pizzas that are«menucci» sized and they’re delicious. The service was friendly and the waitress was great about refilling my water glass. This location has crazy high ceilings but is still cozy inside.
