My family and I are fans of the Outback menu but it can be challenging to find a location with decent service. John and his team in Norwood do a great job. Everyone works hard and makes sure the diners are satisfied. We travel past the Randolph location to dine at Norwood just because of the great work and attitude of the folks in Norwood. Keep up the good work.

A real disappointment! The only good part of this meal was the delightful waitress, Courtney. Her service and demeanor were nothing less than exceptional. Perhaps it’s my fault, I ordered chicken at a place with steakhouse in its name. I ordered chicken Marsala for the main course. What I got was a cooked chicken breast, perhaps a little over cooked, with a salty brown gravy of sorts. Oh, and one mushroom slice with one or two small bits as well. Instead of a Marsala sauce, the chicken was adorned with a bland gravy with a hint of some kind of wine(if it was Marsala, someone should fire the wine maker)… See the attached photo. And look at the almost clear ring around the gravy, er I mean«sauce»… It doesn’t look very appetizing, does it? Like I said at the beginning of this review, it was a real disappointment. In fairness to Courtney, she was very apologetic and tried hard to make it up with a complimentary desert, but I was still trying to get the salty taste out of my mouth and was more interested in going to Starbucks to cleanse my palate.

Came here for my dad’s birthday dinner with 3 adults and 2 babies. For a franchise restaurant this was quite good for the type of steak they produced. Every piece of meat was cooked exactly the way we asked. Bill was $ 139 for 5 of us which is very reasonable for steak! Best and most popular appetizer was the Blooming onion, a whole onion sliced up into fries’ shape, deep fired, seasoned and paired with chipotle mayo. Service could have been more friendly and approachable; it was a Tuesday night not busy at all. Most of the time servers were sitting at tables chatting but that also reflected on the gratuity. Working in past restaurants with higher customer service requirements, they did not pass with making feel special or welcomed, but the food was great!

We came here for our anniversary since we went to the Outback on our first date. Our waiter, Jeff, was very nice and quite friendly. Our drinks took forever to come and, when they showed up, I was disappointed to discover the cheap pour for my cosmo. We had to send the Aussie cheese fries back because they were barely luke warm. To my surprise no manager ever showed at our table(generally restaurant practice). I ordered a side of asparagus and was disappointed to receive 6 overgrilled puny pieces. Overall a very mediocre experience.

We went for dinner on a busy Saturday night, called ahead but still had to wait for about 30 mins. They served free appetizer samples while we waited for our table which made the wait less painful, they were delicious little snacks. I had the half rack of ribs and they were very meaty and mighty good. My boyfriend said this was his favorite place for prime rib, that night he stated it wasn’t their best, but he still are the entire plate! This was my first time at an outback and will definitely be back. Service was decent. Had to take 2 stars off due to where we were seated. The first booth behind the hostess station. Wet dish towels right above my head and constantly had servers/staff standing right next to our table leaning in to grab the towels, menus etc. We’ll still go back but will refuse to be seated there.

This Place is the worse. I will never ever come back to this place again. They take forever to get you DRINKS! they took forever to say hey I waited almost twenty minutes for someone to talk to me that is very poor customer service. I am a manager at a dealership if I ever took twenty minutes to talk to a customer I will be fired the next day. Then to top everything off when they brought the food it was COLD the only thing good was the mushroom that they give you. I was very disappointed in every way possible so as I am eating the food I go to clean my hands there is no napkins. I ask the waiter for napkins she never came back so we had dirty hands for twenty minutes I am so pissed off they you have our waitress shooting the shits with other employee while we need napkins. Then another employee walks by swearing while I have my son with me luckily he was a game on my phone. POORSERVICEWILLNEVERCOMEBACKHEREAGAIN

Service was great. I ordered the porterhouse med. with parm rice and broccoli, with a side of mushrooms and coconut shrimps. My favorite was the mushrooms, shrimps, only the right side of the porterhouse, and parm rice in this order. Mini Mushrooms were in a small bowl with a brown sauce almost tasted like Marsala sauce. Coconut shrimps were covered in real coconut and they were a good size. I happen to see while eating it they weren’t clean. I ate it anyway. I dug into my steak which was cooked perfectly lacked seasoning just needed salt and pepper in my opinion. But when I finished the sweet spot and started eating the opposite side, it completely turned me off. Not the greatest quality of meat. Parmesan rice was not what I expected. It’s uncle bens rice with parm over it. It lacked appearance and flavor. Two stars for attentive service and nice cold angry orchard.

This is typical chain food with a good atmosphere. I only rate it so low because we had like three waitresses during our dinner. The food was good but the portions were a little small for the price we paid. If you’re hungry on a road trip or aren’t too picky, stop in. As for me, I think that was my first and last time.

Took my family to this Outback several months ago, what a disaster !! We ordered and then it went down hill from there. Four gentlemen were seated after us and it became clear almost right away there were under the influence of something, they began to yell loudly, swear burp, and fart .When I complained to the waiter and asked to see the manager and told her the problem all she could say was«can I get you something else ?» Nothing like being blown off. The whole time they were still being served alcohol the whole time. Suppose they had left still under the influence, and got in an accident would the manager ask them if their was anything else she could get the victims? I see that Outback is closing restaurants, if they hire people like this woman as managers I can see why. Never again! Let them have the drunks and the managers who are managers in name only!

Love this outback! They are awesome I have come here a lot and have never had a bad experience. The people are friendly and the food is fantastic! Everything is clean and welcoming and they have some great bartenders willing to get you what you need. Awesome!

Unfortunately I was looking forward to dining here tonight which was interrupted by every dynamic upon entry. To level set, I travel often and seek dining establishments good for business. Let’s begin that upon arrival I was surprised that the bar area is very small with about 14 seats and was crowded not allowing for good arm room. No wifi existed so unable to work. Sat in the corner and the bar was extremely sticky and when I requested it to be wiped down a dirty dish towel not even rinsed or cleanser applied. There didn’t appear to be AC which with today’s humidity made it very uncomfortable. Service was very slow as Dit took a good 5 minutes to receive a bill for my diet coke so I could leave. Went to Seasons 52 instead.

I’m not sure if Monday’s are amateur night for the wait staff here, but the service was highly intolerable. The drinks were terrible and the food was sub par. The highlight of the evening was receiving the«carry home» boxes to place our food into, which would inevitably end up in our trash receptacle ten minutes later. This is my first experience at Outback. I can guarantee it will be my last.

This is my review after going twice. They have very flavorful food! Friendly staff and servers. The prices are a little high(similar to LongHorn Steakhouse). It’s not very crowded so you can actually have a conversation while you eat without a million people talking at once and the Top 40 playing overhead. Minus 1 star for the price and the slow response time when we were ready to leave. It took awhile to get the bill and then have my card run. Took probably an additional 15 – 20 minutes to leave after we had asked for the check. Overall, great experience… will be returning!

Service is always the best thank you Alex he was are waiter tonight but the only I really don’t like and always make me very upset is when I call to make reservations I always ask to please make sure my table is ready and for some reason I always show up they never had my on the list this is the only thing I get very upset because I hate waiting…

Fiancé and i met my family here last night after spending some time at the launch trampoline park with my little sister. The only reason i gave 2 stars is because our server was nice. Now on to the food. We got a few apps and most of them tasted burnt. This included the bloomin onion(which we usually love) and a caprese salad with extremely burnt toast. The toast was the first of many things to be sent back. Next came the main dishes. My fiancé got the lobster tail and sirloin and while i get the place was busy, his meat was«still mooing» when it came out and wasnt much better the second time it was brought out. My sisters godmother who got the same dish was brought a sirloin that was quite overcooked. The rest of us were content with our food, though it was nothing to write home about. When you’re paying a few bucks for a meal, you expect it to be made correctly and tastefully. Normally we love the outback at past locations we have been to. But this one is definitely not deserving of a second trip back.

We basically like the Outback(except I don’t care for their bread), but prefer other options unless our gluten-free family is visiting. The Outback has a great GF menu and claims to be fully prepared to do deal with allergen issues. We have had problems at this particular restaurant, with gluten items arriving on a plate with a GF order. There are always effusive apologies, of course. For our visit with a celiac teen the other evening, I made a point of speaking with the manager at the outset, before any ordering had taken place, and asked him to monitor, which he said he would do. The teen ordered the shrimp appetizer, gluten-free. It arrived, after too much delay — with toast points! Apparently our server and possibly the manager as well, thought it would be nice to include the toast for anyone else at the table sharing the dish. The food is good, but seriously — do not go there expecting food allergies to be understood.

I hope this is unusual, but our dining experience was the worst in recent memory We called ahead as suggested to avoid the«25 minute wait» only to arrive and given a pager. The 25 minute wait that was supposed to be avoided turned into one and half hour wait and everyone who arrived after us were seated. My wife and I ordered the lamb chops and came out raw. An attempt was made by offering free dessert, unfortunately, only one out of 6 eat dessert. What should have been an hour to maybe 2, turned out to be 4 hours. 2 guests were so disgusted, they left there food on the table and went home. not again
