Wow! I can honestly say this was the worst pizza I have had in a long time. My dad use to take me to papa Gino’s as a kid. I had great memorized eating this pizza but today’s experience was simply disgusting. The meat was sour, the dough was chewy, I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of their pizza. I honestly think microwaveable pizza taste better than this. I’m sorry papa Gino’s you have lost me as a customer…

Ok… Even though they were (and still are) terrible… Wanda is friendly, helpful, and actually a good manager, as some of them in the past (I specifically remember some weird guy that was ALWAYS there), were not good, and some not understandable.
The one on Providence Highway in Dedham or Walpole are both better, but this one is very close to my house (probably the same distance as Dedham is though…), and not TOO bad.
Only issue is that I consistently call this restaurant to let them know that my receipt states they are at «134 Nahatan Street» (which is Shaw’s’ address by the way), when it is supposed to be «142 Nahatan Street».
The woman on the phone consistently is the same, and says it’s in the same plaza as Shaw’s, so it doesn’t matter. Which is NOT true. IT DOES MATTER. Anything a customer brings to your attention you should personally take into consideration and take care of the problem… now I need to call 1−800-PAPAGINO. Plus, the Walpole Papa Gino’s address is also incorrect saying that they are in «Walpole, MA 2 081», when it should be either «East Walpole, MA 2 032» or «Walpole, MA 2 032». Dilza, the manager at the Walpole location (I think that was her name) assured me it would be fixed.
5 stars for Walpole, 2 for Norwood.

I remember eating here 30 years ago. Still feels the same as it did back then. Not sure if that’s good or bad.

Slowest service ever. Ordered take out pizza online, was given a pick up time. Past experience has taught me that Papa Gino’s is usually slow, so we purposely showed up 15 minutes after the quoted pick up time, which didn’t make much of a difference because I ended up waiting 20 more minutes once I got there. Not to mention that the eat-​in was empty and only 4 other people showed up to pick up take out orders while I waited. I’m all set with coming back here. Next time, we’ll order from the Dedham location.

Friendly staff and great customer service, the food is good and the place every time i come is always clean. Definitely recommend this Papa Gino’s, the gentleman and the lady that helped me today were also great in providing me outstanding customer service. Seeing the other staff members laughing and having a good time as they work is always a + as well, Thank you

This is a good place. It’s usually clean and friendly staff. During the lunch rush your order can get a little mixed up. At night it’s very slow dirty and lax. (Night manager need apply.) however I do enjoy the location and food.
I come here often so I can see the ebb and flow. All in all not a bad time.

If you’re looking for pizza in Norwood center, Papa Gino’s is not the place. I worked at two other Papa Gino’s, and while every pizza joint has it’s ups and downs, this is one of the worst Papa Gino’s I’ve ever been to. I typically go to Papa Gino’s further away just to avoid this one.
Always inconsistent food and slow service. You might get lucky and get a properly cooked pizza in a short amount of time, but odds are you won’t.
Too many cheaper and more convenient pizza places around to give this place business.

This place is near my home so I’ve tried it about 6 – 7 times but the service is unbelievably slow. The staff seem lethargic, like there is no urgency to fill orders. The food is inconsistently made. I ordered a wrap recently and the wrap was not, well, wrapped. I had to hold it together with the brown paper in order to eat the wrap. WTF? I think the fact that the service is so slow to fill orders really seals it for me. I’d come here more if not for that issue.

I agree with the other guy. Food is ALWAYS hit or miss. Never consistent. More consistently on the bad side unfortunately.
By far the worst service I’ve ever seen in my life. Staff talks back to management. Front girl has no interpersonal skills and makes you feel unwelcome. All I can say is if I was the owner of this Papa Gino’s I would be furious.
I ordered delivery from them once and paid with a credit card. I had no idea that this was the one place in the world that didn’t have a space to leave a tip on the receipt. I had no cash on me and felt horribly that the driver wouldn’t get a tip. I figured I would just call and ask that they charged me an extra couple dollars as tip. That issss. until the driver realized he didn’t get a tip and threw the pizza in my arms and shoved the door closed on me. I couldn’t believe someone could be so rude and disrespectful.
Papa Gino’s has always been my favorite pizza but unfortunately this Papa Gino’s makes it easy to understand why so many go out of business.
my advice-​your business is only as good as your staff… so in that case you’re screwed.

If you want a crap shoot of food service look no further than this Papa Gino’s. One night you’ll have great food then two days later your food will taste horrible. One night you’ll deal with a pleasant Supervisor/​Manager the next time you’ll be dealing with a ignorant and very rude Supervisor/​Manager. One night you’ll get a decent delivery that is somewhat on time and hot food, the next time you’r delivery will be 15 – 30 minutes late and food is cold.
If your desperate for a change from your usual pizza joint and have a coupon for a few dollars off their already expensive pizza then sure hit them up. If not then just avoid ‘em and call/​go somewhere else.
