Nice middle eastern market with loads and loads of ethnic products. They also carry a variety of very fresh produce at great prices. The prepared food section is excellent. My favorites are the lentils with rice and onions – seriously one of the best I’ve had. The roll up sandwiches are so good. Every time I come I want to try something else but end up with the roasted cauliflower. It’s delicious. Tons of middle eastern desserts. They also have a huge selection of olives, cheeses, etc.

I love the sandwiches and the pastries. They have a lot of yummy food there cheap and fresh vegetables. But my Lebanese friends always tell me its better at the indain store. They would know, but i think i will stick with Sabbs when i am in the area.

Pretty awesome Shawarma, very authentic… I am a die hard shawarma fan who grew up in the Middle East, I know when a shawarma is good! For $ 5, it’s a great value sandwich

Going here was actually super intimidating. This is a Middle Eastern market. I am the whitest little white girl ever… and I am socially awkward too boot. The staff kind of stared me down, and was a bit gruff with me when I asked for some grape leaves from the deli portion in the back. I noted a lot of products not readily available elsewhere, but noted a lot was the same item just repackaged many a time. They had a lot of grab and go and premeasured containers, but they were kept behind the deli counter so I still had to flag someone down and have an awkward exchange to get the right items. Perhaps if they are going to have these available an additional cooler could be utilized so I didnt have to stop the man who seemed to be preparing and cleaning to hand me my taboleh and grape leaves. When I went to check out the woman was talking on the phone, and then when she went to bag my items while still on the phone she was more concerned that a regular left one of his bags of groceries than finishing up my sale. I’ll probably be back, but not until I scope out what I can get at a local Falafel place that sells middle eastern groceries as well as food.

I would give no stars at all for the extremely rude customer service. I have been there for the whole chicken thrice(chicken is good) and I have never had a good experience with their cashier(to be more specific). She always swipes my card and drops it towards me and looks away. May be a hello would be nicer.

What a find! In the back corner of a Middle Eastern market, I saw something I havent seen in a while and I knew I’d like this place. 2 vertical broilers, 1 with chicken, 1 with beef/lamb(?). This, folks, is how it’s done! Not that bizarre gyro meat loaf looking thing seen in other places. I could spend hours roaming the aisles of this place. The products are very unique(to me, anyways). The Chicken shawarma was very delicious. plenty of fresh toppings and super inexpensive. Everyone there was incredibly nice and I felt very welcomed. Cant wait to stop by again.

Love this little gem! Growing up in Michigan close to the largest Arabic population in the United States, I have had the privilege of enjoying the best of the best lebanese food. Recently moving to Massachusetts from Vermont(where there is no authentic lebanese food) Sabbs has been a glorious find. Love the staff and the many hard to find grocery items that stock the shelves. The best pita bread sold here and olive bar cannot be beat. The store makes the best shawarma sandwiches and the vegetarian sandwich is delicious as well. Don’t hesitate to buy the garlic spread either. just make sure if you are in the company of others to share so you can all breathe the same fresh, garlicky breath without offending! The pastries, baklava variety and honey donuts are also amazing. A definite favorite of mine!

This hidden place has tasty shawarma sandwiches that are more than plentiful. I’ve had both the chicken and beef/lamb styles and they were excellent. I thought the falaffel was a little dry the times I’ve tried it, but the other things I’ve gotten from here were great.

I came here a couple times and it’s definitely a nice little hidden gem. First time I had the shawarma plate and didn’t realize it was huge! It came with fries and a side salad. The meat(beef and lamb) was quite flavorful. The second time I just ordered the shawarma only and it was the perfect size. I had it with the garlic sauce and loved it. I did walk around the store and it seemed to have a nice variety of items that are not found at your typical grocery store.

They had the selection of black tea that I was looking for. A great display of sweets, but I only recommend the«Mamoul» they taste very good. The other sweets taste all the same and I would not recommend(unless you know they have been baked within the same week). They have a good selection of Greek and Bulgarian cheese as well. Communication was bit hard with the staff members, but they are all super nice, and they value customer service. This is the store to go if you are looking for Persian, Greek, and Lebanese products. I will be going back for sure!

It’s really nice to have a place in the South Shore that sells Middle Eastern products of all sorts. You’ll find some really exotic items here. I only come here for zaatar and spinach pie and they’re both good. I don’t know what exactly is authentic zaatar but these ones here are flavorful and full of thyme. Plus the bread taste fresh. The spinach pie is not bad, though not as good as other places I’ve been to. It’s probably because it’s just spinach and not spinach and feta. I’ve had the desserts(like tarts and baklava) and they’re at good prices, while tasting pretty decent. The service is fine and the people working there are generally considerate.

Loads of hard to find products(mostly Lebanese) at a very affordable price. They also have very good sandwiches and their pastries are also very good.(French Style Pastries) They also have Merguez !!! Yay! [pron: Mayr-gayzzz] They day I went, they were out of it. Bummer. but I’ll go back, try a sample and will let the Unilocal community how they compare to the real stuff. Last thing, when ordering meat/sausages/cheese, please be patient and do not hesitate to point out what you want. The guy is very nice, but few things can be «lost in translation» Sausages: Try their Makanek, Yum! Meat: Excellent ground Lamb, *made on order!* Cannot be fresher that that. Nothing to compare with the [expletive] sold at Shaws. Cheese: Real Greek Feta! Again, once you try the real stuff, you’ll never go back!

Wow! Where have I been and why haven’t I known about this gem? Stopped in for lunch and had the most delicious middle eastern food I’ve ever had. The value, quality, and flavor is all beyond reproach. In particular, for $ 5 can you possibly beat the chicken and steak shawarma? Heaped with freshly sliced meat and the most delicious sauces I’ve ever had. The service was with a smile and I can’t wait to go back and try even more of this food. Sorely disappointed this has escaped my radar for so long.
