People put a great deal of trust in hairstylists, since whether we like it or not, we all harbor some degree of vanity-​we are concerned about the quality of the haircut, could something go wrong? The color is not what I wanted, the list of potential concerns go on and on. If you have asked yourself this question, I want to reassure you as a prospective client of Salon Innovations in Norwood, Ma, that after several years, neither my wife nor I have ever been able to complain at the service we have received when we go for our regular appointments. I am by nature critical, but as much as I try — I cannot find anything to complaint about when I go for my haircut.
One can get a quality cut, color and styling at any number of salons, however what you get at Salon Innovations is a personal and unique service. As a middle-​aged professional guy, Brenda has been cutting my hair for more years than I can remember. I get a no frills, plain man’s haircut, but she is able to make that look neat, respectable and appropriate for my professional job setting. I have never known anyone that makes me feel better about my hair than she does. People comment positively on my haircut and ask who does it? Brenda’s talent and skills not only makes me look almost presentable (LOL) but rather goes far beyond that. I feel good when I walk out of her salon. I often rush from work for an appointment at the end of a tough workday and from the moment I arrive; she takes care of me and lessens my stress with her humor, kindness and warmth. I laugh, share conversation and listen to her stories. I expect her to provide me a service, but instead she provides me with a positive experience –she is a low cost therapist and by the time I leave, the stress has gone and my hair looks better than great.
My wife is also her biggest fan. She has had long hair, short hair, colored, highlighted and Brenda consistently demonstrates her ability to switch gears and deliver a quality product. My wife has at times let Brenda decide on the «new look» and she has yet to disappoint. Brenda is a quality stylist and colorist who is highly creative and is able to effortlessly provide, personal, client focused service. She does not have to try — she is a natural. Having been to countless hairstylist over the years –I have stopped looking since I have found the proverbial pot of gold.
At Salon Innovations the co-​owner and stylist is Claudia — like Brenda, she provides the same warmth and welcoming nature when we arrive. I have seen how her clients leave, and they are very satisfied and happy at the haircut, color and service she provides. Although Claudia has not cut my hair — I would have no concerns at the quality of haircut I would get from her too, should Brenda be unavailable. Both work closely together and are a great team.
So in conclusion, if you are seeking a new stylist, are in this area (worth driving to if you are not), I cannot emphasize enough that Brenda and Claudia are two classy, warm and funny ladies who can simply put, cut hair better than any other stylist I have ever had. Give them a chance and I know you will become life-​long clients. Thanks Brenda and Claudia — you do a bang up job, thanks for the laughs and the great haircuts –you do great work.
