Brookside Manor

After moving out of my previous apartment (Greenmount Lakes), I knew I needed something nice but more affordable and in the same general area. Brookside Manor was the solution to my conundrum. I pay considerably less in this part of O’Fallon, but am still very close to all necessary places (i.e. Target, Starbucks, Global Brew) and shankings are not commonplace here –which is more than I can say for Belleville. It’s a cute little complex, but I had several surprises: no microwave or garbage disposal and when you turn into the apartments, the curb is absolutely ridiculous. It’s WAY too high and if you attempt going over it any faster than 5 mph, you and your car will regret it. It’s been a month since my move-​in day and overall — I am quite content. They even gave us cupcakes at the lease signing: D
