Great environment and friendly staff. Surprisingly not very busy on this Friday afternoon. Bag the Enchiladas Cenco and it was really hot and tasted great. The food came pretty quick, probably due to being very busy. I had a craving for Tex Mex and it was settled here. I’ll have to take the free chips and salsa«to go» in the wife’s purse now, hope she had a liner ;)

My family went there, soon after we got our food(my husband and i were talking) and my son(who ordered the chicken strips) said mommy I can’t chew this chicken. I look over, and it’s not under cooked –it’s totally raw(and half eaten) needless to say he was sick in the bathroom for 24 hours. I’ll post the photo of chicken. They acted like it was a favor that they didn’t charge us for our uneaten dinner. Terrible!!!

This is a great spot to get dinner. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are friendly.

We ordered lunch for the crew at work by recommendation from Molly their Marketing Director, and Paul the General Manager of the store went above and beyond to make sure our belly’s were full while staying within our budget! Everything was hot, fresh and tasted great. The Salsa is the best. We will be back and will recommend to others in our work group. Thank you Chevy’s!

Food was really good, but our waitress was very rude to put it nicely, and you could tell she didn’t want to be there today. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

I kinda knew what to expect when we went here for dinner, but there’s a reason there isn’t a wait for a Friday Night At This place. The place is dated and very unappealing. Lighting help mask the presentation of the food, or lack thereof. I am convinced that a majority of our meal was microwaved. The service was horrible and the clientele was like walking into the photos of people of Walmart. We got the steak nachos and I don’t want to know where that bean paste came from, definitely not going to be going back here.

We went into Chevy’s for lunch today. We were seated at a six person table, with five people, on the wall with the fireplace. Our server was Tony. We were promptly seated, drinks served and orders taken. Up until this point everything was as you would expect. Upon placing my order for a chicken chimichanga I asked for no salsa, Guacamole or any other tomatoes /onions. When my orderer came all of these items were on it, which I simply just picked off. When I cut into the chimichanga I was served a beef dish instead of the chicken that I ordered. Our server did not come back to check on us, and I had to get up and ask another server to have a new one made for us. Upon finishing our meals a togo box was brought to us, and then we sat waiting for the check. I used to work a secret shopper so I’ve become to be in the habit of making note of times. I looked at my phone at 12:27 thinking we needed the check and at 12:44 I finally had to get up and go ask out server for the check. Todays visit was not a good one, definitely one that I will not make the mistake of having gain.

Love so many things here! The jalapeño jelly is beyond amazing. Try the flautas so you can dip them in the jalapeño jelly. My favorite salad is the Santa Fe chopped salad. It has fire roasted corn, abaca do slices and a southwestern sauce that ties it all in.

Slow. Very slow. Knowledge of diet and what the hell is in their food is in par with fast food. Damn scary. Don’t put me at risk with handwaves.

Went here on Cinco de Mayo. One of the wife’s favorites. Figured I’d have a long wait but it wasn’t bad at all. Usual great food. Servers were stretched a little thin but tried hard. Still the best chips and salsa(that I’ve had) in the area!

Before we moved from the area, 3 years ago, this was our fav place to eat. However, we recently moved back, and Chevys has really gone down hill. The place is really dirty ~ dust caked on blinds, pics, etc. I’m sure I don’t need to tell everyone what dust is mostly comprised of… ew! I took my daughter to eat a few weeks ago and there was a guy approaching tables making balloon animals for customers… kinda creepy and it, obviously, was making some people uncomfortable. They used to have a cool tortilla machine that kids(and adults) loved… it’s gone. The décor seems a bit dated. The last time I went, I asked the bartender if Chevys was under new management, and it is. About a year ago someone else took it over… and it shows. The food and the service is hit or miss… but, I do LOVE the salsa!

Went to Chevy’s last weekend and it was great as always. I had the flauta’s appetizer for free! I signed up to their email club and they gave me a free app coupon. Had an excellent margarita as well. I got the Fajita Steak burrito and it was so delicious, along with the rice. I saw from a Chevy’s email if I instagrammed my food I could winner free dinner for two… and I did! I won! I love incentives like this especially for great food. Only complaint is the price vs the amount of food you get. But still delicious and I am extremely happy with Chevy’s.

One of my favorite Mexican food places, even though they are a chain. Actually, I wish it was a chain restaurant that was more widespread as the nearest one to me now is 45 minutes away. Great free chips and salsa, great handmade tortillas, and awesome shrimp fajitas!

I’m not a Chevy’s fan. Never have been. I think their salsa tastes like BBQ sauce. HOWEVER… you get a free meal on your birthday(if you sign up on their site)… Not just cake… an entrée. On your half birthday you get $ 5 off. You can’t beat that. This location has really good service too. I used to go to the St. Charles location quite a bit but would only go there if I was offered free margaritas from my friends.

Went to Chevys with my Cousin while visiting him for the weekend. The name seemed a bit curious to me, as there was no connection to cars or anything else Chevy-Related. It actually reminded me of a Bennigans or Chili’s the way it was laid out. I ordered the chicken chimichanga with a side of guacamole(they say it’s the best). The chips & salsa that preceded the meal were both very good. The chips were nice light white corn and not greasy, but obviously fresh. The salsa was good with just the right amount of cilantro. The meals came and my chimichanga was pretty good. The chicken was shredded, not chunked but it still tasked OK. The frijoles were excellent, but the Mexican rice was a bit dry. The corn cake was just middle of the road. The guac was not anywhere near the best, and lacked any real seasoning. I’d say it was OK at best. Service was good and overall it was a good meal, but I think we can find better out there next time.

Living out of the country, I constantly crave good Tex-Mex. I went here while visiting my family. I used to really like this restaurant, especially for the chips. I wasn’t disappointed with the chips and salsa but I was disappointed with the veggie fajitas I ordered. I’m vegan so I asked all the basic vegan questions of how the vegetables are cooked, especially if the veggies are cooked with butter of if butter is added. The waitress assured me there’s no butter used in cooking or added in. When I got the fajitas they were a huge pile of delicious looking veggies, but after the first bite I thought they tasted a bit buttery, I ate a couple more bites of them hoping it was just oil before I realized there were large chunks of steak hidden under the mushrooms! I sent them back and it was taken off the bill, which was nice. Besides that the service was great. The only other complaint came from mom and sister-in-law who said the tortilla soup was very plain.

I am normally thinking twice before I write a review about a «chain» restaurant… However, being a Chevy’s fan in general it helped. The service the night we went was excellent! The waitress went above and beyond to help keep my children happy and satisfied and was quick to make sure we had everything we needed, even when my kids made a mess. It was a week night so we expected fairly slow respond due to the lack of staff, however, they were on top of it! The Chevy’s establishments in the area other than this one always seem to either have stale chips and I have to pass or they have terribly slow service — not this one luckily.
