Walked in a person there to greeter you and check you in and offer a beverage. Looks very nice and clean has sports in the waiting room. When I was getting my hair cut I was warmly asked how I was doing today. Friendly staff and also price for a basic haircut is 17 $ little bit on the higher side but for aesthetic and friendly environment it was alright from the standard 15 $. Next time I’ll get the more deluxe options.

Walked in and was immediately greeted and offered a beverage. Atmosphere was warm and «saloon» style. Had a putting green inside and an area for checkers and shoe shines! My barber was very friendly and gave a great cut! I plan on going back again!

I was open minded coming into this place, but wasnt impressed. I was not offered my free beverage and did not get asked what kinda of haircut I wanted. Just was given the cheapest one. Which wasnt cheap at all. My experience was no different then my usual barbershop I go to for HALF the price.

For the past six years I have been getting my hair cut at Sports Clips, but the past few times I have not been impressed — not so much from the hair cuts themselves, but more because of the atmosphere. The waiting room is often full, including several kids playing on the floor as if it was their living room, etc.
So, after hearing radio ads, I decided to give the Hair Saloon for Men a try. Based upon my first visit, I was pleased. You enter into a warm inviting environment that is more like a lounge, than a waiting room, and are greeted by a cheerful receptionist, and offered a beverage.
The area where they cut your hair is more inviting and private compared to Sports Clips and all the unisex salons. Each station is partitioned off, and included its own hair washing station, so you don’t have to go somewhere else to get it washed.
My hairstylist was friendly and a good conversationalist, but not too chatty. I’ve had it both ways, where its either dead silent, or the person talks your ears off, but this was a pleasant in-​between. Most importantly, she gave a good haircut.
The one thing that keeps it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it is a little more than some other places, but certainly lower than a high-​end salon. My cut and shampoo was $ 20 before tip.
I plan on returning to the Hair Saloon for my next hair cut.
