We just tried this restaurant for the first time this evening and absolutely loved it! We were there a little later in the evening so it was very relaxing. It’s a nice environment and the service was outstanding! We had the crab Rangoon and it was very good. I had the Schzewan Shrimp and it was delicious!!! I love spicy flavorful dishes and this didn’t disappoint! My husband had the Schzewan chicken, it was a very generous portion and he loved it! They surprised us with small cups of their Mango Pudding desserts on the house! And it was really really Yummmmy!!! They even sent us home with some Hot and Sour soup! What nice time we had dining there and also visiting with Vince himself and our wonderful server! Don’t let the outside or location put you off it is wonderful!

Me and my husband moved to Missouri from California 4yrs ago and have been searching for a good Asian place the whole time. We were so excited to find this place. The food is wonderful, the service friendly, just an all around great place. We tried the crispy beef, which was to die for, and the Szechuan chicken that I would for sure order again, veggie fried rice was really good with lots of veggies. Me and my husband can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t tried Vince’s you really should, you’ll love it!

We ordered a 10-people feast on Friday noon. But only four hot dishes and two appetizers were served, which was much lower than our expectation.

Only 5 dishes for a $ 98 combo. The dish were badly tasted. Bad attitude. Will never come again.

The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant! The food is overpriced and not authentic. The waitress told us 6 shrimps for $ 11 and they are not even making money. We waited at least 20 minutes for the check and she said we are ridiculous. Really bad customer service and a big rip off, I’d rather go to Panda Express.

Terrible! The very first time in the past decade I feel so disappointed. We preordered dishes for 10 persons with ~$ 100 budget. But only 6 dishes(medium size) were served, which included a soup. Finally the owner«confirmed» that the soup is $ 35, and the total price should be $ 140. What a soup, $ 35 but with no difference from the sour-hot soup in the Asian buffets! Understood it’s not easy to make money, but you must make money in a right way! And, the worse thing is that she was so rude! Said: «it is ridiculous! You only have $ 100, what do you suppose to eat?!» OMG! We will never come again!

Found this place on Unilocal.A hidden gem. Plain on the outside, but very elegant inside. From other reviews I assume the owner greeted and served us. She was most gracious… Very friendly. The soup was delicious, the crab Rangoon and dipping sauce was amazing. Fried rice was fluffy and tasty and hot braised pork with vegetables was very good. The wife was mildly disappointed with her schezuan beef… It could have been more flavorful. Overall good experience. It was lunch time with no other patrons. The location seems hidden. Thanks to Unilocal for finding it. The lunch menu was limited. I look forward to trying their dinner menu. Reason ably priced, excellent service, and good food. Look forward to trying again.

Terrible!!! Big let down. I was excited to try this place out due to the reviews it got and it was nothing but terrible. First of all the owner is absolutely rude. I checked in on Unilocal for this restaurant and it offers you one order of free crab ragoon. At first, she said you can’t take it to go. I told her it doesn’t specify that on the offer. Then she said, «Ok, I only give you two not four!» Which was fine, I was the only one eating, it’s better that I didn’t get four because I don’t need to be eating that much but she was rude about it. Didn’t try to clarify anything, just mad and rude. The food took 15 minutes to get read and it was bad. No taste, just a soggy texture to it. The two free crab ragoon she did give me were pretty good though. I can overlook things but as an owner when you are rude to your customers and question them with attitude, that won’t get you far. I will definitely not be returning here.

This is a great place with good Korean and Chinese food. The prices are a little high if you are used to Chinese buffets and little, cheap take out places. My wife likes the walnut shrimp appetizer and I enjoy the bento box with bulgogi. I only have done take out so I can’t comment on the service.

Good food, good prices, had very good kimchee and miso soup, and the clear sweet potato noodle dish off the back cover of the menu is really good, that is where they keep the traditional Asian food

In a world which seems all to content to belly up to a discount buffet, Vince remains true to creating premium fare with artful expession. Listen to me when I say, everything here is tantalizing. Vince possesses an amazing talent for juxtaposing premium ingredients and flavors in every single dish. You will not enjoy a better meal anywhere. I could go on and on about each dish but for the sake of brevity, I’ll share just a few of my ‘favorite’ favorites. Mandarin Shrimp, crazy good. Kim chee fried rice, out of this world. Bibimbap, will bring a tear to your eye. Hot n Sour soup, top notch. Walnut Shrimp, will curl your toes. Seriously, sit down and order anything… you can’t go wrong. To top it all off, Anna and Vince are two of the friendliest, most real people you will ever meet in your life. Life is short, treat yourself here– often!

Best Asian food in St. Charles County, hands down. My husband and I love Chinese food, we usually eat it once a week. Since moving to St. Charles we were very disappointed with the Asian food options. We stumbled into this restaurant with an unassuming exterior and were pleasantly surprised by the results. I had the Mandarin Beef which was very good, but the hot braised chicken my husband got was the show stopper. It was great. Hot, fresh, and still crispy. We also got the dumpling soup– that was the only misstep for us. It had flavor, but no salt. With a little soy sauce it wasn’t too bad. Overall this was a great experience for us. Not only was the food great, but the service was excellent. Vince himself came out and talked to is to see how our meal was. If you’re in the area, this is a must!

Been going to Vince’s for years. They beauty of the menu is that if your experience with Asian(read: chinese) food is from looking at pictures at the mall, this is going to be very good for you. But, if you like to try some real Asian delights, even order off the menu you have to ask about that is only in Chinese, this place will suit your needs too. Try the Bibimbop. Vince and Anna are true restaurateurs in the best sense.

Been coming back over the years and have yet to be disappointed. Met the very nice co-owner(who happens to be from Korea) and was introduced to some great Korean food. The kim chi and korean style potato salad was delicious! From the soup and appetizers to the entrees and banchan, they make a great effort to make their food authentic and tasty. Can’t wait to go back…

This place is a shining example of why Unilocal is such a great resource! There is no way at all that we would have found this place had it not been for me surfing Unilocal looking for decent eat-in chinese food in our area. Based on the looks of the place from the outside and the name(?!) I probably would not have tried it even if I knew it was here. Nothing about«Vince’s Asian Bistro» in a strip mall screams: «best bulgogi and mu shu(sp?) in the STL area!» But it was. Even the tea was yummy — it was a blend of jasmine and oolong, so it had that jasmine flavor coupled with the sweet aftertaste of oolong. I had the mu shu and it was delicious! I also tried Husband’s bulgogi and some of his ban chan. I want to try the crispy beef the next time I am here, and there will be a next time. The couple who owns it are so very nice — he is from Hong Kong and she is a Korean-born Chinese. He has also lived in Japan, if I remember correctly. What all that adds up to is the best food from each of these places, all in one handy menu! We will definitely be back!

Kids are both out of town this week so we are having the Ben S. and Charleen S. restaurant week! Monday evening was Balaban’s. Tuesday evening was at home due to conflicting appointments. Wednesday evening found us at Vince’s Asian Bistro. Here’s the Cliff Notes version: best bulgogi I’ve had in STL(sorry dear — that includes yours), non-traditional ban chan, great tea and super owners. Footnotes: Their tea is a blend of jasmine and oolong. Not sure I’ve ever seen this before but it really works well. The silky feel of oolong with the delicious smell of jasmine both pair well in the same cup. I ordered the bulgogi bento box. The ban chan was more like a tour of their menu than the traditional Korean ban chan but that was not a bad thing. Apparently they have a dish on their menu called«crispy beef» that I will most certainly try at some point based on the 3 bites that appeared in the bento box. Ditto on the hot pot shrimp which was also represented. Their kimchee is a bit less spicy than some places but very good. Their daikon radish presentation was lightly pickled which worked really well also. The bulgogi was amazing! They use ribeye instead of a lesser cut so that lets you know that it will be great. Shaving the meat instead of slicing it into chunks is another indication that you’re about to love the dish in front of you. The last two indications are the liberal amount of the sweet bulgogi sauce under the crunchy noodles upon which the meat is resting. There’s more to be said but the thought of their bulgogi is making me hungry and I need to go now…
