I am really confused as to how this place has such good reviews. The service here is terrible. The cooler drips water all over the fish every time the chef opens and closes it. None of the food we had was terrible, but that is the best thing I can say about it. I would not come back here and would not recommend anyone spend their money here.

Went today to get food for the shop were agreed on sushi so i got a whole bunch of rolls. My advice do not get the spicy tuna or California all they do is put siracha on it which is horrible honestly. That and the sushi was all warm

Spicy tuna hand roll is my favorite, very flavorful and a good amount of tuna. Their happy hour is 10% off and includes sushi and drinks. I think the big winner is the food portion for their daily specials, $ 10 can get you a massive serving with leftovers. You also get a complimentary Korean biofeel. Not so great is the wait time and customer service, especially during happy hour and lunch time. They need more than 2 waiters.

Great restaurant. Their bulgogi beef is fantastic, but the short ribs are probably my favorite(very flavorful). Their weekend hours and location are a bit strange, but it’s not too bad. The staff kind of hovers nearby and I thought it was a bit awkward, but on the other hand they’re certainly attentive.

I enjoy going to Arirang. They are also on my speed dial for when I want to enjoy Arirang elsewhere. Arirang is great, if you like me, enjoy stuffing your face like a chipmunk with big fusion sushi rolls. Arirang has a staff, and that’s good enough for me because the enjoyment I receive from Arirang is mostly derived from stuffing my face like a chipmunk with sushi. Arirang, like its staff and scrumptious sushi rolls, is fusion. The Korean fare is more than fair, it’s my comfort food in the winter times. Arirang does Chinese. As long as Arirang doesn’t start cooking pizzas too, it will stay one of my favorite fusion restaurants. Arirang has wonderful and fun food for when you want to feel alive and the name is fun to say which is why I used it so much in this particular review; for when I re-read what I wrote. :-P Thank you for years of Arirang!

Love love love this place. We do take out often. I will order a teriyaki chicken and California roll for my daughter and myself to share, and we will have chicken and rice left over for her lunch the next day! I usually give them 10 minutes more than they tell me when I order, because they can get a little back logged! The food is always fresh, and is always worth the wait! Dining in isn’t my favorite, because it can get crowded and a little loud.

Yet again strike three on the customer service. I ordered the Chinese sweet and sour pork. It didn’t come out as advertised in the picture so I was a good sport and took two bites. It was heavily breaded to the point I could not taste the chicken. I sent it back and they said they will still charge me since I ate some. I explained that I took two bites to try it and they still wanted to charge me even though I was going to order something else. Instead I ate my appetizer and drank my tea. Looks like it will be teriyaki time in town every time from now on. Sorry for giving you guys another shot. Seriously WTF???

Okay so the first time I ordered from this place I fell in love, but today I feel a bit different. It says that the Sushi bar is open until 2:30 pm, but this is not true. I came into this establishment and I was told to come back at 3 pm. So, maybe the Sushi bar is open only during the week. Other than that the food is always good and fresh. You should definitely give this place a try.

Just okay sushi. Its kind of bland and they never get my order right unfortunately lol. Everyone is always nice that works there and I never have to wait too long for my to-go orders.

Sushi was the best I’ve had in town, made fresh to order. Rest of meal was not as good, and service was not great.

I just have to say, I wish they were more truthful in their advertising: the picture of the tempura udon soup on the menu shows all kinds of good stuff in it; three pieces of fish cake, and what looks like pieces of fish or chicken. What I got however was quite different; only one piece of fish cake and a bunch of undercooked cabbage. Just not all that enjoyable. And if the picture had been true to what you get, I probably wouldn’t have ordered it in the first place.

Food was ok. I got the bento box. Was a bit pricey for what you get. Service was good. You can get better food for cheaper somewhere else outside of Oak Harbor.

Not as many Korean options as I hoped but nonetheless delicious, fast and friendly service. Only issue is the jets constantly flying by but if you’re there for a quick lunch, no prob!

The food here is great. The sushi is fantastic. It’s not very big but they are very friendly and the food always tastes fresh and hot. You get a lot for your money I love their bento boxes and wish I could get them more often!!! They also give you this yogurt type drink that helps which digestion which I think is so cool. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

Sushi combo pictures show more than what you get. Read descriptions carefully. Way too much rice on all rolls. For some reason tgere was seaweed salad topped on my spicy tuna roll and siracha sauce splattered everywhere. I love sushi, and I have never encountered anything like this before. Maybe, I would have thought it was good if it wasn’t called«spicy tuna roll»

Ordered a roll and it tasted off and they refused to take it off the check or accommodate me in any way. Not only did they refuse to be courteous but they laughed at my table.

My friend and I love coming here with our kids. The food is great, prices are just right, and I’ve never left without a full meals worth of leftovers to take home. My daughter is an adventurous little eater, and loves the kimchi and the little sweet milks you get with your check! We enjoy watching the Korean dramas while eating, too!

So not what I was expecting. The focus of the reviews seemed to be one sushi, and I’m always a little weary when it comes to Koreans or Chinese restaurants with sushi. Hubby and I sat at the bar, and ordered a nagiri/sushi combo that included a California roll. Since neither of us like California rolls we asked if we could substitute it for something else and pay the difference. The waitress wasn’t sure but asked and it was find by the chef. I ended up getting a tempura roll and adding cream cheese. When it came out it was HUGE… seriously, I could barely fit one piece in my mouth whole. AND It was tasty. Normally I would drown a roll like this in eel sauce, but I barely needed a skidmark’s worth to balance the flavor. I don’t know how the nagiri was, but didn’t get any complaints from hubby, and he usually has something to say. While we sat at the bar, we got the chance to talk to the Korean chef about different food items, and his knowledge of them had my husband convinced he was Japanese until I heard him speak to what I can only assume is his wife in Korean. The whole check came to about $ 24, which had one soft drink and the extra charge. If we were to have ordered everything separately it would have easily went past $ 35 and anywhere else would have cost us close to $ 50, so I would say their prices are great. At the end when we paid we got the little yogurt drink shots. Not expected, but a very nice touch. We are definitely going to be coming back more often to try other menu items.
