Closed. It is a shame that this shop is closing. It brought some life to the neighborhood, but I can understand that retail is difficult and Chicago Avenue isn’t the hub of shopping. I always enjoyed the Christmas items Colleen carried especially the pine scented candles — made my home smell like Christmas trees. This little ecletic shop will be missed. I hope that we will still see Colleen around the area she is so very nice and fun to chat with.

Perfect store for gifts, garden and home(& jewelry and gifts for yourself). Friendly staff, gorgeous store and always plenty of free parking outside the front door. This store is a gem of Oak Park. I love shopping here. Whenever I buy a hostess gift here everyone wants to know where I bought it. Lots of well-priced/moderate price point for gifts that are unique and memorable.

I’m so excited I found this shop! It’s just what I needed — a neighborhood gift shop with a great assortment of things. I popped in last week in need of hostess gifts and they had great, affordable, pretty options.

The Store has expanded to a room with Cute EVERYTHING. lotions and candles and tea Towels and Little Bites and nibbles. Cans of the nicest Tea’s that you’ll find this side of town. Everything is so Colorful from the Vintage to the modern. she also has a Garden area. I love the Fresh Rosemary that you can purchase RIGHTNOW! and it’s just beautiful to look at as it is to cook with. I’m really happy that this store has opened in the location that really could use something so Great! Last time I was there, I was able to purchase a small purfume bottle, a really cute box of matches and some nibbles. Who knows that I will get next time. You will certainly want to buy 1 of everything even if you don’t have a use for it and I’d certainly take a regifted item from this store anyday!

I tried to come here in mid-September only to find it closed and a sign posting that they were on a summer hours schedule(still?) and that those hours were only Saturday and Sunday. Really?! It doesn’t seem like they are serious about wanting business.

This shop has great home décor items and gifts for anyone and everyone on your gift list. We have a lot of very cool shops here in Oak Park, but this ranks in the top 5 for sure. I love the mix of vintage and new items, too.

Beautifully executed shop on Chicago Avenue. Fabulous mirrors, gorgeous serving pieces, pretty jewelry, and much more. The atmosphere is wonderful and inviting. A wonderful spot for gifts for any occasion. So glad«Bee» is in our neighborhood, we really needed it and could use a couple more shops and restaurants to liven things up on Chicago Avenue.

This place is adorable, a veritable«Terrain» right in Oak Park! The location is off the beaten path for Oak Park, but there’s plentiful street parking right in front of the store, so don’t sweat that for a second. You should go here. I came in searching for a 10′ cake stand I found online from Mosser glass. Mosser recommended me to Bee Home & Garden. They had the glorious cake stand(it is HEAVY and fabulous. Completely appropriate for a wedding/shower gift, or just a Wednesday gift for yourself!) There was a lot of adorable other stuff in the store, it reminded me of Anthropologie. Their sales floor is very well curated. The prices were decent for the quality. Not cheap by any means, but you’re not purchasing an IKEA product here; like I said, the stuff here is the kind of stuff you keep forever and pass down to your children. My cake stand was actually about $ 15 less than I was expecting to pay, and they were running a special so I got a discount on top of that! That being said, I did feel some of the price points were off. Some stuff was a little higher than I felt it should be, and other things(like my cake stand) were lower than I expected. They haven’t been open long, so I expect it is just a matter of time and experience before they get into their grove. The owner said she was expanding soon to include furniture for sale. They have no website to speak of, but their Facebook page is updated frequently.
