The pizza I ordered was very good, I love the chicken bacon sub it is delicious, the people that work here are very nice and respectful. I would recommend Dominos Pizza to everyone, it’s a good buy for the price you pay and it taste good

They canceled my order because they assumed I ordered wrong. I know what I ordered. You know what they say when you assume? Now I have to stay hungry till dinner. Thanks!

I have ordered from here several times and every time I do the pizza is soggy and greasy. The cheese just doesn’t seem right, it has a weird taste and almost slides off the pizza. I never seem to learn my lesson because every time I eat a pizza from there I feel sick The next day. Other products I have had there are mostly good, it just seems to be the pizza.

FreeChicken! I was going to title this review«FreeBird» but some rock band already has the rights to it… yeah. But why FreeChicken? Because that’s precisely what I got after picking up my order on a Monday afternoon. Dominos features a carryout-only weekday deal that’s a large 3-topping pizza for $ 7.99, which is a pretty good deal. When I went to go retrieve my hot cheesy circle of dough, I was also given an order of a two dozen bone-in buffalo wings, something I definitely did not order. You know that ‘Chance’ card in Monopoly that says something like ‘…bank error in your favor, collect $ 250′? Well this was the real-life food equivalent of that. Restaurant error in your favor, collect 25 chicken wings! And that’s when my subconscious started up: *shoulder angel*: «it’s not yours, so don’t take it. that food belongs to another customer.» *shoulder demon*: «holy sh*t dude free f*cking chicken, take that sh*t and RUN!» Guess who won that battle? Yep, the one with the horns [sidenote: he’s a vulgar little guy, but a ton of fun to hang out with]. So I powerwalked/sprinted away 12 wings the richer. Dominos’ mix-up sucks for that other person, but yay for me! Drivers have been cool from past experiences, and they have a cool online pizza tracker that gives you updates on when your food’s in the oven, out for delivery, etc, which I think is an awesome feature. Prices are low and this location is open until 10:30pm, which is good but not as late as I’d like to see. Their crust on a hand-tossed ‘za is lovely. Does it seem silly /pointless for me to give Dominos my bread & circuses rating? Yes. Am I going to do it anyways? Yes. Bread = 4 Circuses = 3.5 If you need a(cheap) pizza and you need it(relatively) soon, give your local Dominos a buzz. Cuz hey, maybe they’ll screw up and thrown in some FreeChicken awwwwww yeaaaahhhh.

placed a order on line & accidentally placed it for pick up. Upon getting the alert on my phone for the order was ready for pick up I called right away to see if I could change it to delivery. The girl answering the phone said you played the order for delivery your all set. Upon calling the store to see where my order was the girl who I previously spoke to thought it would be a good idea to argue with me on what I said or didn’t say, Upon speaking to the Mgr. maya & telling her my story with no hesitation or apology she proceeded to defend her employee. Now mind you there was no apology for any misunderstanding or asking me what she could do to make it right she wants to defend her employee. Not a good impression when a employee wants to argue with a customer. Now let me ask you does it make sense that after I call to see if I can have my order delivered & was told yes that I’d let it sit at the store for an hour when I’m hungry. Does it make sense that a store mgr. or mgr. on duty has a similar attitude as her employee. Makes you wonder how the store is actually run with all types of competition for pizza or food in general in the forest park/river forest area. A very now hungry & frustrated customer. The mgrs closing comment when I asked for a refund now & to credit my cc was to be well. You decide if this is a good place to do business.

Communication and teamwork are necessary to run a business, let’s get a little bit more of that going and screw ups like the one listed below wouldn’t happen. I order from here quite frequently, usually once or twice a month. Usually they’re pretty good with taking my orders and getting them to me. One of the things I like about this Dominos ordering system is that once you give them a name, number, address and your order it stays on file; they know who’s calling, where the order is going and what you possibly want to order, so what I don’t understand is how today they managed to screw up my order completely. They said they had the wrong address and number for me. No no, I don’t think so, their staff member repeated my information back to me while taking my order. Looks like somebody forgot to put the order in. So they said they would send the pizza out for free but when they finally sent the Pizza back out, for free, they forgot to send the voided credit card bill with it, proving they cancelled the charge on my card so then they had to come back AGAIN. So 2 hours later I had a pizza and 2 hours and 20 minutes later I had my receipt.

I can’t get enough of Dominos! I am truly a fan now. The medium chicken, spinach and feta pizza was baked to perfection and arrived just as hot as if I had placed the order there and dined in. I never order dessert but the Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake was so warm and moist and the crunchy outside took nothing away from the gooey inside. I will definitely order again.

I made the first review as a tongue-in-cheek gesture. Dominos food is very consistent from location to location and this location seems to be staffed by employees that can deliver that product efficiently. I unfortunately had the experience recently wherein they actually found a way to run out of deep dish pizza crust. So they called me to explain and the general demeanor really rubbed me the wrong way. The option they offered me was to essentially change crust options or cancel. And it’s silly but the replacement they offered was cheaper than the option i ordered. It is a very negligible amount of money but i just had them cancel my order out of principle. So sadly i have to update my review to «Sometimes this Dominos cannot bring you Dominos pizza, but they can offer to bring you a different less expensive pizza or whatever.»

After I moved to Chicago I always wondered who the idiots were who were ordering Dominos since, like New York, Pizza is pretty big here and not hard to find«better» offerings. For certain Oak Park is no different … but in came a domino’s offer for 50% off during December for online orders and out went my order faster than I could say«but there are better options …» 30 minutes later I didn’t regret my decision. Ordered a Brooklyn Style, meat loaded pizza and had to add a couple of toppings because with the 50% off I was short the delivery minimum of $ 10.00. Pizza was good, sauce was flavorful and the crust … I can’t say it was the best by any means, but considering where it come from and what I was expecting I was MORE than pleasantly surprised.

One of the best dominoes I’ve ordered from. They come fast and give you a great portion of toppings. What more could you ask from a dominoes? When you call and order the cashiers are always super nice. Glad it’s the closest one to my house.

CUSTOMERSERVICEANDHUMANITYABOVEANDBEYOND. This is a special review of the staff at the Dominos. This past Wednesday my handicapped daughter had a doctors appointment at West Suburban, because her paratransit did not show she is in a wheelchair) she was forced to take public transportation to and from West Suburban. After an especially long day at West Sub, on her way back to Harlem Avenue to pickup the bus home to Elmwood Park, her wheelchair began to act funny. Her cell phone had gone out at West Sub, this Dominos took her in, allowed her to use their phone to call me so that I could bring her charger for her wheelchair. They even allowed us to use their electricity. In a dog eat dog world, these people stand out as our heroes for the week. They assisted her each and everyway she needed help at her time in need. THANKYOUFROMTHEBOTTOMOFOURHEARTS!!! Just goes to prove a little humanity goes a looooonnnnnnggggg way!

I can’t say that Domino’s has the best pizza of all time, but if you’re in the mood for a basic takeout(or delivery) pizza, they do a good job. I ordered takeout, got a three item large pie for $ 8(try matching that at an artisan pizza restaurant) and it was hot and cooked to order when I arrived. Store was clean also. The pie was a bit on the greasy side but I had ordered a Pepperoni supreme so I blame myself for that. Very tasty nonetheless.

I have loves in Oak Park for a while and tried any different pizza’s, and for the price, this is the best. There is one place I believe is better but it is much pricier. Dominos has really raised their game over the past couple of years! It is worth another look from everyone!

The positive about my first Dominos Pizza visit in Oak Park: The weather was very pleasant! My eldest son wanted to do something nice for me since it was my first day back to school. As I drove the long trek through rush hour traffic to get home, he had called to tell me to stop at Dominos in Oak Park — he had ordered and prepaid for supper. I thought, ‘How nice!’ I am not a connoisseur of Dominos, but truly the thought and effort, not to mention his meager resources going to make a treat for me, was touching. I arrived at Dominos about an hour after my call from my son,(I told you I have a trek to get home). I told the«window cashier» my son’s name, «David …»,(not a difficult name), however; to my surprise she stated, «It will be four minutes» .The pizza was not ready — How odd! I sat down on a rather lower than normal bench to wait the ‘four minutes’ I was told it would take. I surveyed the store — it could have been cleaner. Given the number of employees working that evening, someone could have swept the floor. There were two young ladies whose purpose appeared to be to take orders. They did not appear pleasant or happy to be at work. There was a delivery person — waiting to take orders that were not ready, who talked loudly about his experience with a man on the street. He too seemed to want to be someplace else — just not at Dominos There was only one customer, also waiting. The four minutes turned into 10 minutes. I texted my son to tell him I was waiting. He too was surprised and called me to say, he had called in the order an hour earlier. By this time about seven to ten minutes had passed and the cashier asked the name of the order again. I stated my sons name again and added that it was a prepaid order. About five more minutes passed. The cashier then asked if the name was something totally different from my son’s name,(David…). I stated his name for the third time and she stated the number connected with the order of the totally different name and said, «Oh this must be your order». Since the man who was waiting for his order, I thought perhaps there was a mix-up and she, no. I questioned if this order had been waiting now an additional thirty minutes and she only stated that she didn’t know what had happen with the name being mixed up. She didn’t apologize for having me to wait, however, she must have read my face and offered to have the pizza makers remake the order. I explained I had waited long enough. The order was not bagged, there were no napkins. The pizza was indeed cold and tasteless… The service was very poor — this is why I do not go to places like Dominos… But it was the thought and efforts of my son that counts,(another positive :-)).

I wanted to try their pizza since I’ve been seeing all these ads on tv how they’ve changed their recipes and their pizzas taste oh so much better. Well, they’re right that it tastes better than their previous pizzas, but I still wouldn’t say that they’re great! I still like Papa Johns pizza much better than Dominos! I think it lacked sauce and flavor. It was only $ 5.99 for a medium 2-topping so I didn’t waste that much money. However, I will not eat there again.

Yes, it’s a chain. And it’s Domino’s… in Chicago. I never really understood the whole pizza obsession when I moved here, and I kinda still don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I DO like a good pizza. It’s snowy and cold out, and we didn’t want to clear/dig out the car to go somewhere so we decided to order in. We called a few local pizza places and delivery times were running at LEAST an hour out. I am assuming to do with the snow and probably lots of people staying in tonight. No good. We were hungry. So we Google for the nearest Domino’s. Log onto Domino’s website and see that you can order online! Wow. Fast Easy. You can also track the progress of your pizza. In the oven, on the way, etc. Amazing! Our pizza arrived 34 minutes after we placed the order. Magic.
