Every Last Byte

I would definitely NOT recommend this service and had the same experience as the other reviewers who were not able to get in touch with the business and received faulty equipment after paying for services.
I had to go to the police because I had not heard from this company about returning my computer for over 2 months. They are never in during posted hours, both the police and I drove past multiple times and the policeman thought it was very odd that they weren’t in on at 12 pm on a Saturday. Eventually, he had to tell the neighbors to tell them to get in touch. It took a police threat for them to get back to me, which is absurd. I was super excited to use them to fix my computer, but I was totally letdown and almost lost my property.

Dropped off a computer for repair last November. Store subsequently closed down and no one responds to phone or email messages. Unable to retrieve my equipment.

Have gone there with every computer problem because they do a great job. But where are they? The store is never open and no one answers phone.

Very thorough service at a reasonable price. I had a catastrophic computer failure and not only did Every Last Byte so a thorough post mortem, and retrieve my data, they also helped with recommendations for a replacement.

I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to computer issues. That said, I tried for DAYS to remove the malware that I KNEW I had inadvertently downloaded. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to do so. I even called McAfee (my anti-​virus software) and the cust svc rep told me that she «dealt with these issues every day» and that the «issue was with my browsers.» She advised me to «contact the manufacturer of my computer» to resolve the problems.
But I knew better than that. So after spending HOURS trying to remove the malware myself, I conceded defeat and looked to call in an expert. Based on Unilocal reviews, I brought my laptop to Every Last Byte. I was told that it could take up to 4 days to get the issues resolved, but I got my computer back in half the time, and so far, so good.
I’m always delighted to patronize small, independent, locally owned businesses that guarantee their work and are devoted to customer satisfaction. Every Last Byte seems to fit that description, and it gives me peace of mind to know that such a resource is in my back yard.

Poor experience with getting our laptop repaired. Bottom line is that our laptop was just slow when we dropped it off and when we got it home it stopped working altogether. Went back and forth with the staff and after too many frustrating conversations, we just pulled the plug and took our business elsewhere.
Felt bad dinging a local business but we couldn’t get over the poor level of service provided to resolve the issue.

When I spilled Coke all over my open laptop, I figured it was done. My sister recommended taking it here, so I did. Abracadabra — fixed. I could not believe it. Even better — it cost me less than what Geek Squad charges just to LOOK at your computer.
Staff are super friendly.

Reviews of 3+ stars were true! Close to my apartment, called 1^st, walked on over with my spazing laptop. Quick service, pleasant, affordable, «broke» (disconnected) my internal keyboard as I asked! Answered lots of (dumb) questions from me, a 30-​something who ought to be more tech savvy than I am. Also, other computer repair biz never emailed me back.

Glad I found Every Last Byte. Problems with computer were solved and now I am back in business. Fair prices, fast service. Complete Satisfication!

I’ve used Every Last Byte several times for computer issues (PC based) over the past two years and I have always been impressed. I had them retrieve data off a broken hard drive, fix a laptop monitor and upgrade computer memory. I find them very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to fix your computer.

They did an excellent job giving my virus riddled slow laptop the «spa treatment» which cleaned everything up and got it working like new. They did it in the time frame they quoted me and I even got to use the Unilocal coupon which knocked off $ 20 from my total. They answered a bunch of my questions patiently and politely and the service was so affordable I kind of felt guilty using the coupon. Great hours too I was able to pick it up in the evening without a problem. I wish I knew about this place sooner! Thanks Every Last Byte!

I’m writing the review from the laptop that Adrienne fixed. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. My laptop, which was totally locked up with viruses, is now working great since getting the «Spa Treatment» at Every Last Byte. I also felt that the price was very fair. I’ll definitely go back here if I have any computer issues in the future.

I have used the services of every last byte and the wonderful Adrienne, several times now, so I feel I can speak fairly about this place and proprietor. I’ve had a house call to fix my printer (very economical and the printer is working great). While Adrienne was there she saw other things that needed to be done and filled the hour she was there fixing all sorts of little things on my computer that she didn’t have to do, and explained every single thing she was doing.
I recently purchased a refurbished computer from the store that they built from recycled parts. I like this concept. This too was an economical purchase and once again, Adrienne made everything so easy. She even remotely connected my printer when I was having trouble setting it up.
When my laptop died, I was told honestly that it was not worth repairing, though they would do it if I wanted them to.
They also carry a beautiful line of bags for laptops and tablets made from recycled mosquito netting. They’re in gorgeous colors.
I think this store is a real throw-​back to the kind of businesses where the owners really interacted with the customers and were honest and reputable. I think Adrienne and her beautiful little store, Every Last Byte, is such a store.

I highly recommend Every Last Byte. They are thorough, friendly, and fast, and Adrianne went above and beyond the service I expected to fix a tricky problem with the hard drive in my Sony laptop. She did a great job of isolating the problem — she addressed simple, low-​cost fixes first, but was very honest with me that the problem might not be fully fixed. As she predicted, after I took the laptop home, the problem started up again, so I took it back in and she did the more extensive repair at no extra labor cost.
I don’t need to go into the technical details here, but in short, Adrianne did a lot of work at a price that was more than fair. Through all of this, her communication was excellent, and at every step, she made sure I understood the problem before moving ahead.
It has been three months since the repair, and our computer is still running perfectly. Any time I need computer help, I will absolutely use their services again.

There is so much awesomeness contained in this small, cute computer shop.
First, the hours: real people hours that allow for people with jobs to drop off/​pick up computers (they also do house calls). Hello!
Then, it’s a woman-​owned business (rock on)

But most importantly, they have great service. I dropped off a couple of old computers for recycling and to see if we could get all the info off of the old drives. I had a non-​working external drive. All that, taken care of.
Then wanted to save my current laptop from the mind-​numbing speed it had been running at. Like, one-​program-​at a-​time-​still-​time-​to-​get-​a-​cup-​of-​coffee-​before-​it opens-​the-​program slow. It was painful. It turned out I needed more memory, and that was done inexpensively and they gave me choices as far as internal/​external and how much to add. Before they did anything they asked me.
SO, I’m writing this review on my «new» laptop, totally overhauled for WAY less than the price of a new PC.
Last but definitely not least, they are super honest — I asked for a new battery, and they basically told me it would be cheaper to buy it myself, but they printed out all the info I needed for ordering it from Sony (and also advised me to buy from Sony, since they are counterfeit batteries for sale online).
So, I’m a happy camper and so pleased to have supported this local, woman-​owned green shop of greatness.

My laptop of 2 years was running painfully slow and it was very frustrating. I called Every Last Byte and spoke with the owner. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The owner arranged to have my laptop picked up the same day and had it back to me virus free in two days. I will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone in need.
