James R Link DDS

This review is long overdue! Dr. Link has treated my Aunt for decades (she has beautiful teeth!) and even though she has moved somewhat far away, she would never consider going to anyone else. I started seeing this hidden gem of a dentist years ago at her suggestion, and it was the best decision I have made! He has a somewhat humble office, but his equipment is top notch, his technique is excellent, his prices are probably lower than they should be, and you are paying for true quality of treatment. He also happens to be one of the genuinely nicest people I have ever met. My daughter also has him as her dentist, even though she travels from Champaign now, and I happily travel about an hour myself. (He’s just that amazing!) For the first time in my life, I don’t dread going to the dentist, because I know I am in excellent hands with someone who knows what he is doing, but will also listen to me, take the time to explain what and why he is doing something, and will make sure that I am not in pain. And he is completely trustworthy! If he tells you that you need something done, then you know you are not being taken for a ride. It is safe to say that my whole family and I love Dr. Link and would never go to another dentist as long as he is in practice!

I went into Dr. Link for the first time today based on the review that I had read earlier. I’m an AmeriCorps member at a homeless serving agency and don’t have much money to spare for dental work. He was so friendly and inviting and extremely willing to work with me and my insurance, while still maintaining a wonderful quality of care. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family. He’s great!

Dr Link has a modest practice set up that has been servicing myself and my parents since 1998. My mother loves him, as i do. He is a great dentist but also a very warm and funny person.
A lot of his patients I have met also have high regards for him.
I will not go to anyone else.
