The pizza at this restaurant is very salty. I couldn’t even eat it, it was so salty, had to throw a whole pizza away. Very dissatisfied.

First time at this place and will be the last. The guy at cashier is extremely rude. Stay away this.

I hadn’t been back to Frank’s since last year. I Ordered eggplant parm, it came with pasta, I forgot they don’t drain there pasta. When my dish came out, I had about 6 pieces of eggplant piled up… breaded not cooked all the way, laying on top of each other with no cheese, just a little cheese melted on top. That is not an eggplant parm… So basically I had Soggy eggplant parm laying in pasta water. The garlic Bread came out with a line of garlic and butter… So I order and chicken slice, how could I go wrong. The pizza was beyond crispy… It was like a rock… This place has gone down hill since the prior owner… There’s not one Italian in the kitchen… Anyone that keeps going here has low standards in ltalian food, or won’t travel for a good pie…

Good food, only giving 1 star though due to unresolved billing issue… my bill was 34.24, paid with card and left 7.00 tip in cash. My card was charged 41.09(34.24 plus 20% tip of 6.85) when i tried to get it corrected i was advised, the only charge was for 34.24. If thats all i was charged then why after the charge was void3d and reissued do i still have a charge from them for 6.85… that they will not refund to me … check carefully if you pay with card and leave a tip in cash a waitress might add 20% to your card

Had lunch here today. Brandy our waitress was wonderful and helpful with what to get. The tortellini white pizza slice was delish and practically a meal. The salad with grilled shrimp was very fresh. The shrimp were firm, tasty and perfectly grill. The tartuffo desert was satisfying and fun. It’s just a pizza place, but they have lots of variety of well prepared foods, and the lovely Brandy to serve you.

Perhaps my review of Franks is also little on the late side. You see, back in 1978 I had a girlfriend named Laurie who lived in White Rock. I would drive up from Bloomfield almost daily and home many nights. Sometimes I would stop atFranks for a slice or two. Always delicious. I can’t believe that almost 35 years later Franks is still in biz. God I miss those teenage nights.

Food is ok. Good pizza. Wait times are agonizing for no apparent reason. Employees don’t acknowledge you and are rude to say the least. I stopped going bc of that reason. Not worth the hassle.

Pizza isn’t bad, but the employees look like they are being tortured… Maybe they are. No one smiles or seems friendly. Dull and boring and lifeless atmosphere. I believe they did away with their BYOB policy too. I’ve migrated to TJ’s in the next plaza for better service and IMO better pizza. While it’s smaller there, better food and service is what matters to me. No desire to ever return to Franks here or any other location.

Good pizza at times but really greasy and really heavy. My husband and I used to get Franks in Hopatcong, NJ and it was heavenly. The specialty pizzas are O-K but I would stay away from anything else on the menu. the salad is iceburg lettuce, cheap tomatoes and Vidalia onions thrown into a aluminum tin. the dressing is gross. I love California cheesesteaks and its seriously disappointing here. my daughter wont even eat their food. The garlic knots are undercooked, bready and greasy. not to mention the GARLIC is sparing. The staff seems aggravated they have to serve you(except for a select few). If you don’t order a specialty pizza– this is not a place you want to go.

Nice looking place and the pizza looks good but just does not taste good. Like most pizza places in the area, they use low quality cheese. I always get an aftertaste from it. When I’ve ordered a specialty slice when they open, it had been made the day before. Unlike wine pizza, doesn’t age well. People love this place, but they just don’t know better.

It’s pricier than all of the other pizza places in the area, but you can see where the money goes. They have a great selection of dinners and specialty pizzas. We usually do order from here because the quality of the pizza and friendliness of the staff are great. The dinners are sizable, and are of above average quality. I’ll continue to give Frank’s my business.

I’m convinced the lower ratings are from people who are just spoiled by the land of good pizza. I took one look at the pies my friend’s husband brought home last night and I knew Frank(whoever he is) was going to rock my world. I was right. The cheese oozed and stretched. No skimping there. The mushroom topping(wait, I like mushrooms?) was plentiful and just flavorful enough. The crust was perfect. Some of the oils from the cheese soaked through the top of the crust making it even more delicious. I lamented over the state of Philly pizza for a good ten minutes as I reveled in the deliciousness of the slice in front of me. North Jersey, you have no idea how lucky you are.

If you want different/specialty slices(eg. taco pie, tortellini pie), then you go here. If you want a pie… there are better places…

Decent pizza but nothing special. I used to go to another Frank’s… and then they started popping up all over the place. Quality seemed to drop after that, and this restaurant is no exception. I would eat the pizza from there, but only really the specialty ones. The deep dish(not true deep dish though) pizza is good(especially the Chicken Marsala), and their sandwiches are also good. Nothing over the top great, nothing terrible… just a decent chain pizza place.

The best pizza in town by far. This is the place that the people from TJ’s and Mario’s go to when they want pizza. They would get 5 stars if they delivered. They have great entrees as well as pizza at really low prices. Eat in or take out, you can’t go wrong. If you eat in, BYOB.
